Bitmap images change color
I'm using Illustrator 27.4.1 on Mac OS Ventura 13.2, but I've had this problem for several years.
I link to 1-bit BMPs and color them with a swatch.
When I have multiple BMPs using multiple colors, the preview will often change to one of the other swatches. It does not export this way, but makes it a challenge to design.
The fill color is still displayed in the toolbar correctly, but previews incorrectly until I swap the fill and stroke color twice. When i click somewhere else it will change again. In the screen recording, the bottom bmps should be…

Illustrator turning PNG images yellow/purple / inverted
Running Illustrator 27.4.1 on Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1.
Having this issue with clear PNGs on Illustrator. The PNGs look okay when placed on the file. Upon re-opening of the file, all of the clear PNGs have turned negative, having a purple filter/yellow background.

Hiding a layer doesn't hide the guides
Since the Update 27.5 of Illustrator CC all guides oaf any file are showing whether or not their parent layer is visible or not. In my Graphic template i have a base layer for guides of different target sizes, areas and columns which are organized on named layers for each type of guides to easily show/hide them.
since the the last update (27.5 AI on macOS) ALL guides are showing up whether or not the layer containing these guides is hidden or shown which results in showing all guides for 4, 5 and 6 column layouts as well as all…7 votesA configuration modification has fixed this problem. Save As dialog is too large and empty
When I click save as the window is so large i cannot see the UI. I have checked the settings for the UI size and it is set to small. I also checked with multiple other screen resolutions and nothing could remedy the problem.

Lost partial fraction capabilities for OpenType
It seems that Illustrator has lost partial fraction OpenType capabilities recently. I was able to create various types of fractions using the 'Fractions' option in the OpenType menu. As of recently, this capability has since been limited to basic fractions (1/4, 1/2, 3/4).
Just to note that I did not change the font. I've been using the same font in both cases (Myriad Pro).

Move (Enter) doesn't copy the first time it's selected
When moving using the enter shortcut and hitting copy. It fails the first time and doesn't do anything. but the same input works the second time See attached video.

mit dem Grünen Punkt oben links im Fenster (Ampel) lassen sich 2 Apps, Illustrator und InDesign, nicht mehr vergrößern und zurück. Geht nur noch groß zu stellen aber nicht mehr zurück.

Illustrator 2023 opening file crashes when there is a broken link (usually with effects applied)
OS: Window 10
Ver: Illustrator V27.4.1When I open a saved file on other machines (Same OS and Version),
sometimes the link files are broken. However, the problem is Illustrator will crash when I click cancel on the relink pop-up window. And if the file has objects that have effects such as drop shadow/ outer glow, etc. applied. The rendering effect pop-up will load and get stuck loading, crashing the illustrator.It doesn't matter if I hit cancel on the rendering pop-up, which I suspect doesn't work, to begin with.
Have to manually kill the program with the task manager.

Keyword Search on CC Libraries Not Working
Keyword Search on CC Libraries is not working. The input area franked by Magnifier icon above the asset thumbnails does not accept any input. Clicks on that area gives zero interface response.
This keyword search is important for many users who has a project library contains over 300 assets like mine. Much more so when CC Libraries provides the order-reshuffling group-invalidating default feature for any attempt to relinking assets.
The only functional part there is "Search In" criteria drop down arrow on the right.

[ExtendScript] RasterItem.colorize() does not accept SpotColor via script, but does via UI.
MacOS 13.3.1, Adobe Illustrator 27.4.1
The colorize() method of RasterItem doesn't accept a SpotColor via scripting, but can do via the UI, so there is no technical reason I can see why this it the case. It may be a simple bug. Also there is a workaround by using defaultFillColor which does apply a SpotColor to a RasterItem.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start with document containing a bitmap (colourable) RasterItem and a SpotColor swatch.
2. script: (adjust the swatch index to match your SpotColor swatch index)app.activeDocument.rasterItems[0].colorize(app.activeDocument.swatches[4].color);Expected result: colorizes the RasterItem.

Version History Panel not displaying any content (previous versions, bookmarked, etc.)
Problem:
Version history panel is not displaying any content for my cloud documents (.aic), such as previous saved states, bookmarked, or even a prompt that it cannot save or no states exist. This is happening for all my existing AND new files. This only started happening on the latest illustrator update.My setup:

Fan runs constantly after update to 27.4.1
Updated to 27.4.1 yesterday. Today whenever I run Illustrator, my fan kicks in on high. Activity monitor says "Adobe Illustrator Web Content" is using 100% of my CPU.
Using: MacBook Pro 2019, running Catalina 10.15.7
Restarting doesn't help. Only thing that helps is to quit Illustrator or run previous version (26.5.3)3 votes -

プレビューの問題かと思い、書き出してみましたが書き出し後も線の表示に問題があります。
制作の都合上、表示-アウトラインを多用し切り替えて表示します。
単なる処理負荷によるものかと思いましたが、今回2度目だったので報告させていただきます。以下してみたことです。

開いてすぐは正常に表示されます。ひとつでもオブジェクトを操作すれば問題が発生し、レイヤーを無視した表示になってしまいます。［→別PCで開いてみる］
クラウド共有したデータを別デバイスで開いた際も問題が見られます。［個人的な解決方法］

Library not updating once stock asset is purchased
I have had a recurring issue for at least 18 months now (and across several updates of Illustrator). I use previews of stock images on drafts of layouts and then when I purchase the chosen image - clicking on the cart icon on the image in the Library panel, completing purchase - the preview image does not updated to a licensed image. I have to go into my account via a web browser, navigate to licensed images, download the file and manually drag it into my library. The cloud icon at the bottom left of the Library panel says it's…

replace spine grey out
I drew a blend gradient object and then drew a wave line by pen. When I tried to use the "replace spine under object" to transform the color gradient of object to the wave line, the option of "replace spine" has been grey-out. I have already selected both the gradient object and the wave line. Please advise.

Outline 0.001pt isn't even - Laser doesn't understand path
When we use an outline of 0.01pt the path is even, when we decrease the path to 0.001pt for the laser to understand we get an uneven line. How do we fix this?

「レビュー用に共有」で塗りがネガポジ反転する。
「レビュー用に共有」をしたときリンク先で表示されるドキュメントの塗りや線の色がネガポジ反転してしまいました。
色々と試してみたところ、カラー絵文字フォントが原因のようで、アウトライン化したら正しく表示されるようになりました。
アウトライン化前とアウトライン化後のファイルを共有しておきます。
（正しい塗りの色は青です）こちらはリリース版（27.4.1)、プレリリース版（27.6）どちらも再現しました（Mac OS、Ventura）。
Windows11のリリース版も同様です。
いずれもブラウザはChrome。MacはSafariでも試しました。（OL前）

It happened twice and the second time around the recovery file was lost! Everything done to that point was lost! It's so irritating I can't believe it!

I can't scale objects, neither with basic arrow tool, it feels like this one is the same of the white arrow.
I can't scale objects, neither with basic arrow tool. It feels like it's the same of the white arrow. I tried changing area's work, illustrator version, but nothing happens. It just doesn't work, shift + click doesn't scale any object, nothing happens when i click on the angle, it only shows me the anchor points just like the white arrow...

Visual glitch
White patches on screen when working on full pack layouts. To remove it and view the artwork correctly, Overprinting Preview has to be turned on, but it makes working slow.
