  1. Can't move text along path - vertical line handles missing

    The vertical lines that usually show up when pushing text along the path is missing. Even when using Direct Selection Tool, there are no handles to control the direction and placement of text along a path which is very frustrating.

  2. The document "annoyingbug.ai" is currently getting saved. Try again after the process is complete.

    "The document "annoyingbug.ai" is currently getting saved. Try again after the process is complete." This pops up when you use save as while there is a save currently going on.

    This dialog box was removed when closing the document in 24.1.1. Can we also get it removed when using save as?

    Would be nice if the save as started once the current save is done like in previous versions.

  3. Using tool shortcut adds icon to all toolbars

    I want to have customized toolbars that only show the tools I've specified. However, when I select a tool via a shortcut, e.g V for Selection Tool, that icon is then added to my custom toolbars. Very frustrating and distracting.

  4. Can't blend objects filled with gradient

    For whatever reason, I cannot blend shapes that are filled with a gradient. I've tried everything. This has never been a problem before this 2020 update. I'm ripping my hair out.

  5. Rulers disappear at restart.

    Even If I have checked "Show/Hide Rulers Across All Documents" every time I restart Illustrator, I have to activate rulers AGAIN. Come on guys, you always need a wheel to drive a car, we always need rulers ON. Help us with this bug.

  6. Illustrator to Photoshop broken

    I am trying to bring my Illustrator drawing into Photoshop. Exporting from Illustrator to PSD format is giving me errors so I am trying to copy from Illustrator and paste into Photoshop as Smart Objects. This was one big object that I pasted into Photoshop. In Photoshop it displays just that one object. When I open the Smart Object in Illustrator I get the full drawing. I'm not sure which program is at fault but starting with Illustrator since the export function is failing.

  9. Line tool is immune to the Constrain Angle

    When you set up Constraint Angle to 30 or whatever is different form 0 or 90, pick up Line tool and hold Shift, it still snaps to 0, 45, 90, 135... instead of 30, 75, 120, 165...

  11. report a bug

    Mac OSX 10.15.3, on a MacBook Air
    I have 2 screens. Built in and Cinema Display (It's stacked above).
    When Illustrator is expanded to full screen on the Cinema Display, the fx button doesn't show it's menu option. If the application window is less than the full height of the screen, it shows up. Note: My Appearance panel was at the bottom of the screen, so the fx button is at the bottom of the display.

  13. Welcome Home Screen Preset Icons Oversized

    1. MBP running Mojave 10.14.6 and Illustrator 24.1
    2. Launching Illustrator – Home Screen appears as expected
    3. Have my prefs set to display Home Screen when no documents open
    4. Icons representing default presets [Letter, Postcard, Common, etc] are not positioned above the labels/sizes as they usually are [see attached screenshot]

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.2.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  14. Last Update is making Illustrator behave unexpected showing something like "white noise"

    Last Illustrator update brings this weird issue after opening any file on my machine. As you can see it does not happen only on the work area, but also on UI components. While scrolling down and up again solves temporarily the issue on the work area, the UI cannot be solved neither minimizing or maximizing the program. After some seconds, the work area shows that error again, pixel by pixel.

    Operating system: Windows 10 1909 (OS Build 18363.752)
    Illustrator version: 24.1.1
    GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
    Version of the driver: 26.21.14.4575

  15. I'm being auto signed out every night

    I'm being auto signed out every night. In the morning it shows a message to save open files but it only gives me the option to save, not save as so I have to overwrite important files or lose all the work I did the night before.

  16. dimensions change when changing rgb to cmyk

    When I set a new artboard with specific pixel dimensions and ppi, I go to save the artwork as a JPEG and it completely changes my dimensions. I've played around with this for hours with no success. I've noticed that if I change the format from rgb to cmyk, this affects the size. This is a bug that needs to be fixed. Thanks

  19. when I open Illustrator there are no tools showing

    I can't see my tools in Illustrator and I can't change or reset my Workspace :(

    I'm able to add some things like the Toolbar and Swatches/Layers/Etc windows, but I'm never able to see it complete, with that top bar that includes the Align + Transform + Etc

    Usually setting the Workspace to Essentials Classic does the job... please help!

  20. Split into Grid doesn’t work for objects smaller than 4.25 mm

    I've stumbled across a glitch in the Split into Grid code which prevents objects with dimensions smaller than 5mm from being split. See the video for a demonstration.
