  1. rotate tool

    The rotate tool's anchor point won't stay were I place it when I go to the dialogue box to rotate in degrees.

    I updated my Mac OS yesterday and since the update this tool hasn't worked.
    I have the latest version of Illustartor 22.0.1.

  4. Stylize shows only one effect

    Why can't I access all of the effect options? Only "Glowing Edges" is in the drop down.

  5. Sizes and coordinates get distorted in SVG export

    Adobe Illustrator CC on Mac OS
    I composed a graphic in Illustrator to use as a SVG Sprite in CSS. To make sure all my sprites render sharply I aligned my vectors to full pixel coordinates and sizes. Unfortunately those same coordinates end up on some slightly odd positions in the source of the exported SVG.
    I used the "Export as..." function with Decimals set to 2.

  6. Deleting segment of path for 'Type on path' and than undoing it gives wrong result

    I have type on path.
    I delete one segment of the path, and text is now overflowing.
    I undo deletion, path got restored, but text does not — it is still trimmed, and I have to NOTICE this and drag end marker back.
    'Undo' must restore previous state fully.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.3.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  7. Freeze screen

    Sometimes the text boxes freeze and seem like I can't edit but actually are editable, is just I can't see exactly what I am doing.
    The other thing, and is a major issue, is that the outline mode is not visible, apparently, I can activate it but there nothing changes on my screen besides the option that shows that the mode is active.

    Point type can't be selected and moved at anchor point when left or right indents are applied.

  9. Selection of multiple text objects - changing font not working

    We can no longer change the font of multiple text objects at once.
    When multiple text objects are selected, Ai thinks this is a 'mixed selection' and does not come up with the typeface selector. Slowing down my work incredibly.

  10. Issues with changing tint by typing in % value and hitting Return key

    Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
    Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6

    As per video, after typing in a numerical value for a tint on a global colour in the Color Panel and hitting Return, the value defaults back to original value. In my video, it shows that it’s having issues with values of 50% and 100% but this occurs randomly and can happen with different tint values.

  11. Unable to assign CMD+Z to Undo tool

    I am using Illustrator CC 2018 22.0.1 for Mac (High Sierra 10.13.2) and I am having trouble assigning CMD + Z to my "Undo" tool. After my last update, I had lost nearly all of the default keyboard shortcuts (I had never customized them before so I assume they were the defaults) like cmd + s = save, cmd + c = copy, cmd + v = paste, etc. which was really frustrating to always have to go to the menu bars to do small actions. However, I have since gone in manually and reinstated the old shortcuts, but for…

  12. Missing Font On Documents That Were Just Open

    I have been having issues with fonts dropping out of coworkers documents since I updated to CC2018 but this is the first time I have reopened one of my own files and had font claim to be missing that I was just using.

    I had assumed previously that my coworkers had just had a different named version of the fonts but today I saved and closed one of my own files to restart my pc because AI was running slowly (separate issue, i know) but when i reopened my file 10 minutes later I have 6 fonts missing.

  13. Font size dropdown not displaying list of default font sizes when clicked

    1. Illustrator version 22.0.1 (latest release)
    2. Issue occurs when changing font parameters
    3. Expected the font size dropdown to appear upon click
    4. Clicking on the font size drop down arrow does not display the list of font sizes as it is meant to.

  14. No fill no stroke rectangle in Illustrator CC 2018 on a PC has an appearance on it and it shouldn't

    When you try to make and use a no fill no stroke rectangle (in Illustrator CC 2018 on a PC) and attempt to use it to define a pattern piece or a brush (so you can create an overlap) the rectangle doesn't work! If you select it and, from the Appearance panel flyout menu, Reduce to basic appearance then it works. So, clearly some appearance is on the shape which isn't visible but which is causing it to fail.   15. Pen tool glitch

    When using the pen tool, the artboard glitches and a big gray area appears from the upper right corner (screenshot 1), glitches even more and turns yellow when scrolling or moving the cursor (screenshot 2).
    Pen tool absolutely impossible to use.

    This started happening after last update (version 22.0.1 - 64 bit) on Windows 8.1

  16. Several Illustrator 22.0.1 Issues with High Sierra Update

    The issues keep surfacing after the OS High Sierra update making my job increasingly difficult and frustrating. Issues ranging from bounding boxes not working to the inability to modify/click on text. Also, I find that I sometimes after some design and then saving the project, the layout switches back on all the changes that I made, after saving is complete. I'll close the file, reopen, and the changes appear as they should have. Crashing is also an issue, seems "minor" compared to these other problems.   18. Mac Illustrator CC2018 cannot key in % of Cyan as the tint % of the Swatch

    When create a swatch e.g. 20C 80M 0Y 0K,

    I cannot key in 20 (%) as the tint of that swatch.

    Even use my magic mouse scroll one digit to one digit, next to 19 is 21.

    No digit 20.

  19. Snap to grid doesn't work at artboard edges

    Snap to grid is ignored at artboard edges.
