1. cursor covers tool tip in tool selection

   When selecting tools to add to the toolbar, the cursor changes to an arrow pointing to the upper left. When I mouse over a tool that I might want to add to the toolbar, the tooltip appears under the arrow. Consequently, the first few letters are hidden beneath the cursor. The tooltip needs to either be shifted away from the cursor or drawn over the cursor.

2. Outputted colours differing on same artwork.

   Getting a problem where the outputted colour of a filled shape is darker than that of the same filled text box.

   I'm producing artwork that will be sublimation printed onto fabric. I out the artwork as an .eps file, I then print the artwork onto fabric and the same colour values are now massively different and stand out like a sore thumb!

   I've been producing artwork like this for the best part of 11 years now, and never had this issue!! Difficult to see the the attached photos.

3. Pressing Numpad Enter no longer commits editing a note for an object in 27.6.1

   In previous version hitting Numpad Enter in the Note filed in the Attributes panel would have commit the changes into the field (while the main Enter created a new line). In 27.6.1 it’s not longer working, hitting Numpad Enter does not do anything — even create a new line. It should work and commit changes :(

   Steps:
   1. Open Attributes panel
   2. In the panel’s flyout menu choose Show Note
   3. Create any object, keep it selected
   4. Put the cursor in the Note field in Attributes panel and type anything
   5. Press Numpad Enter

   Expected: editing should end
   Current behavior: nothing changes, the editing does not stop, the cursor is still in the field

4. Guides Hidden/Show Problem

6. Transparency panel shows 0% for the mixed opacity values

   When having a selection of art with mixed opacity values, Transparency panel should display blank, as Illustrator does for color values or stroke weights, but instead it lies they all have 0%.

   Procedure to replicate bug : Open “ImportFileInside.ai” on Mac studio M1 (apple silicon) machine and change the links inside from “FileLowDPI.ai” file to “FileHighDPI.ai” file. It doesn’t work and show an error message but works on Intel based Macs.

8. Gaussian blur does not get rendered

   Two white stripes on the blue background have gaussian blur applied to them, but the effect is invisible (unless I reduce Document Raster Effects’ Resolution). The CS6 version is throwing you a warning it’s not enough RAM to apply the effect. The latest version just says nothing, it just calculates it, shows the progress bar, but doesn’t apply it (I checked this with the All the Warnings reset also).

9. Unfoldable layers

   Illustrator does not display and allow to click unfold arrows next to these layers, despite the objects in them exist in the document.

11. GPU performance enabled, but Illustrator is still using CPU at 100%?

    Greetings, I have a 4070 ti and an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x (12 core) with 64 gb of RAM config, windows 11 machine. I have resetted the config files (deleted all the folders there), whenever I open a project that has 3d materiales and objects in it, illustrator refuses to use my GPU, despite having all the relevant boxes ticked in preferences. Here is a screenshot of whats happening. I am a CC subscriber and using the latest version (27.6.1 64bit). My video card should be able to handle any 3d task I set to it silky smooth, just applying "inflate and basic color parameters, plus raytracing" makes everyting take ages, instead of fast changes like I see on some of the tutorial videos

12. Illustrator CCC23 crashes when clicking scrollbar in the Layers Panel

    I use a Wacom Intuos Pro Small Tablet on an M1 Max Macbook Pro running macOS 13 Ventura. I have the buttons on the tablet's pen mapped to specific keystrokes when using Illustrator CC23, which forces me to click the scrollbar to scroll within the Layers panel. 95% of the time, using any part of the scrollbar crashes Illustrator. This was never the case with previous versions and is very frustrating because using the scrollbar is now second nature to me and is very difficult to avoid.

14. Save Each Artboard to a Separate File waits until end to save all files at once.

    When using the option to save each artboard to a separate file, illustrator keeps all the saved files as TMP files and doesn't finalize them until all artboards have already been exported to the TMP file. This isn't an issue for small files with a few artboards but causes delays with larger files / number of artboards because the AI files are all saved out at once at the very end of the process.

    It would be more efficient for some workflows if the AI files were finalized along the way so that they can be further processed by others while the rest of the artboards are being saved.

16. app.preferences.setIntegerPreference() does not work

    app.preferences.setIntegerPreference("rulerType", 0) changes the selection in the GUI but doesn't actually apply the change to the document.

    I still have to go into the GUI preferences, change the units to something else, then back to inches and close for the change to actually apply to the current document.

17. 100% View is Inaccurately Sized - Wrong Monitor Resolution Detected?

    This is marked ad fixed in older bug reports, but it is still an issue in 2023.
    When viewing my artwork at 100% Display, it is not accurate. The document I will refer to for this example is a 6"x9" postcard. The settings I have tried and the actual results are below:

    1. Edit>Preferences>Display Print Size at 100% Zoom is checked
       Result: ≈7.5"x11"

    2. Edit>Preferences>Display Print Size at 100% Zoom is not checked
       Result: ≈5.25"x8"

    3. Tried both of these settings with the "View Actual Size" shortcut, they rendered the same results.

    So currently, the only way for me to actually see the true size of the document I'm making is to zoom and measure with a ruler until it's accurate. With the first setting, 81% zoom is the actual size. With the second setting, 113% zoom is the actual size.

    When posting this to the community, a community expert recommended I report this as a bug, suggesting that Illustrator might just have detected the wrong monitor resolution.

18. Changing color doesn't work sometimes

    This bug goes long way back, as far as I remember using illustrator, both on PCs and Macs.

    Sometimes (usually in text objects, but not only), when I pick a different swatch to change an object's color, the color in the swatch palette changes, but the object's color remains the same.
    To resolve this, I have to choose "None" as the color, and then choose the color I want.

19. Appearance panels not consistent

    For some reason, the two ways to inspect the Appearance of the selection do not reflect the same information.

    In the small panel a triangle with an exclamation mark appeared to make note of the fact that two strokes are applied and I should check the Appearance panel.. Why not show the correct Appearance information in all Appearance panels?

20. プロパティパネル等のテキストボックス内のテキストが切れる

    プロパティパネル等のテキストボックスに入力の際、テキストがボックス内に収まらず数値を確認しずらい。環境設定でUIスケールを小さくすると表示はましになるが、一部がテキストボックスのエッジにかかってしまう。UIスケールを大きくするとベースラインが大きくシフトし上部が３割程度隠れてしまう。

    再現手順
    1.ドキュメントを開く
    2.プロパティパネルを開き、ドキュメント上のオブジェクトを選択する。
    3.パネル内のテキストボックスの数値の上部または下部が切れて表示される。

    期待する結果
    各テキストボックス内の数値が切れずに表示される。

    現状
    テキストボックス内の数値が切れて表示される。

    これは、以前からの不具合でUIの設計が元々欧文フォントで行われ、ローカライズの際に日本語フォントに置き換えた際に日本語フォントに最適化されない事が原因ではないかと考えます。以下のコミュニティーページに参考になる情報があります。
