ガイド線が消せない。選択できない。
いくつかのファイルで、ガイド線を引いた後、選択もできず、消すこともできない状態に陥ります。ガイド線を一括非表示にした時に限り表示を一時的に消すことができます。印刷入稿などへ回しても現物に影響はないので良しとしていますが、作業にあたりとても邪魔で困っています。

windows10 64bit1 voteGuides in Illustrator, unlike in InDesign, are considered to be objects and exist within layers. As per the comment by Ten_A, if your guides are contained within a locked layer, they won’t be selectable.

AIC Autosave Automatically Disabled Itself
AIC files autosave in Illustrator 28.7.1 for Mac Desktop is not working half the time. Some files it autosaves and others (usually the very large ones) don't. This hasn't been an issue before the latest release that I can see.
If autosave isn't working a prompt letting me know would be great. Also, a repeating prompt if I haven't saved in a while would be an added bonus.

Big ugly black square in the middle of my picture.
Every time I open a PDF version of my image, Illustrator adds a big ugly black square right in the middle of my picture, and there doesn't appear to be a quick way to remove it.

Where to begin?
The progression of Illustrator over the last 2 years has become maddening. Im sure this will never be read but having come to the end of my tether i need to say something somewhere. Firstly, at work, i use the same size image and format to start 99.9% of all my work. Yet every time i open illustrator, i have to put thoise dimensions in manually, in the recent section is just has 3 standard sizes (one of which is only ever used in the US, i am not in the US)
Secondly, every time i open illustrator it reverts…

Blend Modes are Broken in Illustrator 27.8.1 and also in After Effects 23.6.0
Hello - I updated all my creative cloud stuff yesterday and blend modes don't work in Illustrator 27.8.1 and also in After Effects 23.6.0
I opened after effects 22.6.5 and that works as it's supposed to.
1 voteWhite canvas in Illustrator is actually transparent. Some blend modes require solid color underneath to make proper calculations, so get it rendered correctly, put something white in background (or filled with any other color).

Reopening files and all images have been rotated 90 degrees
Reopening PDF files that have been worked on the day before and all images have been rotated 90 degrees.

Livetracing Bitmaps gives results with random shades of black
Up until recently, if I used the Livetrace and Expand command on a bitmap it would produce results with only pure white and pure black, as you would expect. Now it randomly assigns values to every piece of what should be black. Instead of 100% black they are 99.29% or 99.67%. Normally I would select one piece, select all by color and move it. Now I need to click on every single piece and apply black to them. Very tedious.
1 voteKeith, the team reverted the Image Trace panel back to the more stable version. If you use 27.7 version, you can try to update to Beta, or revert to the older version, or wait until the Beta version will go stable.

Fail to export. Transparency: Other options?
Illustrator fails to export artwork correctly when "Other Options" showing under Opacity in Appearance palette. This artwork was created via legacy 3d extrude. It was also 'pathfindered' and 'eyedroppered,' the latter with Appearance checked.

"Selection" automatically jumping to "move" when clicking on an object and move action isn't retained
Adobe Illustrator Version: 27.7
Operating System: Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1Regardless of the file I'm working in, when I use my selection tool to select an object, upon moving my cursor the object starts moving like I'm clicking and dragging it (this is after tapping once on the object and letting go on the track pad). Then, when I move the object and click on the trackpad again, the object moves back to its original position and Illustrator makes an error alert noise.
I have uninstalled Illustrator a few times, downloaded older versions from CC, and restarted my machine numerous…

RGB colors keep changing on their own
RGB colors keep changing on their own. File is open and after a while the rgb colours have changed. They become duller and keep needing to be reset. I have set the file up in rgb web mode. Have checked the color profile to rgb also. This makes illustrator almost unusable. Can't send file to client without having to go through every color to make sure it hasn't shifted. Serious bug issue that has been reported on before in 2022

FONTS and text REMOVED
Text removed. Sometimes its happens to me hat I open a file and all text is removed, fonts no showing up, but the text is not there any more. I can see there are text elements but are empty of text.

Export svg doesn't work if symbol stainer used on a symbol
I have noticed that an svg export adds a character in the svg code on a symbol in which the symbol stainer was used. When I break the link to the symbol, the svg exports as expected. I have been able to repeat this error.

This happens when Snap to Grid is enabled. Even when invisible, it still affects snapping and prevents Smart Guides from assisting to snapping at artboard’s edges.

Free Distort and Perspective Distort don't appear in the Free Distort tool panel. They aren't anywhere in the tools menu, I really can't find them.

Exporting svg file with preserve editing capabilities checked issue
I have a doc with multiple artboards. when I export the SVG file, I select the individual artboard and export like usual, but recently it's been exporting the entire doc, with all the other artboards as well. even previewing doesn't show all of the boards, I can only tell when I open the SVG file back up or look at the file size.
