  1. Graphic Styles Panel Crashes Illustrator (macOS Movaje)

    Illustrator CC 2019 on macOS Mojave becomes unusable after loading the "Graphic Styles" panel. After the panel loads, there's a brief beach ball followed by the "Not enough memory to process the appearance" error message. The menus then become "greyed out" and the only way to proceed is to force quit illustrator and restart.

    On the surface I can avoid loading the "Graphic Styles" panel, but there are other panels that I need to load that only load with the "Graphic Styles" panel attached to them.

    I've deleted the AI preferences and uninstalled/reinstalled Illustrator and the result is the same.

  2. Align to compound shape / key object bug (CC 23.0.1 / Win 7)

    While trying to distribute spacing using the Align palette, I've noticed a strange align bug which only appears to affect compound shapes when trying to align to a key object.

    Steps to recreate:
    1. Select two objects, one of which is a compound shape
    2. Make the compound shape the key object (click on it while selected)
    3. Set a distribute spacing distance in the Align palette, and click on the horizontal/vertical distribute spacing button.

    Result:
    The key object moves by the preset amount set and the second object get spaced from the key object by the same amount.

  3. Changing leading up and down in Character panel makes it 1 or 1295 pt

    When the leading is set to (Auto), using the up/down arrow UI buttons in the character palette to change the leading results in weird leading sizes. Toggling up from Auto using the up arrow in the UI produces a leading of 1 pt. Toggling down from Auto produces a leading of 1295 pts!

  4. Panels are mixed up and showing wrong content when docked

    I have been having issues when I click between two tabs that I group together in the same panel it will essentially freeze and only show me one of the panels if I am clicking on another. So for example I have the layer and link tab in one panel. I am currently on the layers panel and when I click on the links tab to switch to that panel it continues to show me the layers panel when I am looking to see the links panel if that makes sense?   5. Workspace panels move on their own

    While using the new Illustrator CC v.23, the workspace will randomly move around and cover up the artboard that I am working on. I can simply click "reset workspace" and it's back to normal it is very frequently that the workspaces move around randomly. Please fix, Thanks.

    We have a feature to popup colors panel when you click on fill/stroke proxy. Please remove the colors panel from the the workspace when it pops-up you should be fine. When I say remove you just have to remove from the dock and keep it as a floating

  6. Disappearing an outline size diameter of a brush tool

    When you just launch the Adobe Illustrator, you can see the outline size diameter of the cursor of brush/blob brush tools, but when you have drawn something the outline disappears , you can see only an icon of the brush and no clue what size is currently on.

  7. Select Objects Behind with Cmd/Ctrl click only works on filled objects

    https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/selecting-objects.html#select_behind_objects

    The option to select objects behind by holding Cmd/Ctrl and clicking sequentially works when clicking an object's fill, but not its path. As such, it doesn't work if 'Object Selection by Path Only' is enabled in preferences.

    I can't think of a reason it shouldn't work when clicking on a path, so I'm reporting as a bug.

  8. Dragging a new guide from a rule activates the artboard behind the ruler

    In a document with multiple artboards when I have an active artboard (black outline) and then go to drag a vertical guide from the left ruler, the measurements change and a different artboard gets selected that's running under the rulers. When clicking in the rulers any object, layer or artboard selection needs to be suspended.

  9. saving ai/pdf file is too slow

    Saving ai or pdf file takes a lot longer than what it supposed to be. This is newly purcahse mackbook pro that I am using and its performance is great with photoshop and other adobe apps. I even untick 'pdf compatible' setting but it won't change a thing.

  10. Illustrator version 22.1 keeps crashing my computer.

    Illustrator 22.1 (64 bit)
    Windows 7

    Illustrator keeps glitching when used. Program will experience extreme lagging as well as leave ghost tracers as objects are dragged across the screen. Has crashed this pc twice.

    Virtually unusable as it is currently running.

    Problem does not happen with either Photoshop or InDesign on this pc.

  11. Phantom lines at 315° are drawn in Outline mode at large zoom levels

    Illustrator CC 22.0.1 This has happened occasionally in the past few versions.
    I'll create an object with the pen tool, and close the object. When I zoom to make modifications on the path I sometimes see a path shoot off to the right at ~315° from one of the anchor points and it looks like the path connecting two anchor points isn't there. As I move it around or zoom out it'll disappear, but if I move back it comes back. Editing the object isn't affected, but it is highly visually distracting. Attached video file illustrates.

  12. The interface doesn't appear

    When I open Ai, the interface never load(1). If I pass the cursor over the top, that bottons appear(2). And, if I select a new color of interface appear the rest(3), but if I press "Ok", that disappears.

    Intel Core i3-5005U CPU @ 2.00 GHz
    4Gb ram
    64bits system

  13. Rotate tool Glitch

    My rotate tool when used for copying with or without my wacom, starts sticking, and the object just keeps moving with my cursor. My only fix is restarting and hoping the app saved my recent changes. This is hindering me from doing BASIC and Simple things like copying a custom shape and maintaining the circular composition. I was trying to make a unique cycle like shape.   15. Playing scripts via action with no open documents

    Running scripts via an action only appears to work if there is at least one open document.

    Steps:
    1. Create a simple script (such as app.documents.add)
    2. Save to Illustrator scripts folder.
    3. Record to action via 'Insert Menu Item'
    4. Make sure no documents are open
    5. Play action. Illustrator displays the message 'The object <ScriptName> is not currently available.'

    If you run the script via File > Scripts, it runs normally. I don't think this should be expected behaviour; if the menu command runs the script, the action should too, regardless of whether or not there is an…

  16. Illustrator 2018 Artboard Problem

    Every time I try to add a new artboard or rearrange existing artboards it causes Illustrator to freeze and I have to force quit. This was not a problem in Ai2017, please fix.

  17. It does not highlight the page on the artboard window

    I select a page from the artboard window. I navigate between pages with PageUp and PageDown on the keyboard.

    I'm looking at the artboard window. but I do not see which page I am on. it does not highlight the page.

    This problem came with the latest update. (Ullustrator version 22.0.0)

    The "Image Trace" function only creates a solid white box, regardless of what image trace option I select.

  19. Illustrator 2018 Crashes

    I have Surface Studio, 32 Gig, Windows 10. Today I installed the CC Updates and now Illustrator crashes every 2 or 3 minutes. I uninstalled Illustrator and reinstalled it, but the crashes continue. Finally in desperation I uninstalled Illustrator 2018 and reinstalled Illustrator 2017. At least now Illustrator is stable.

    I sure would like to know what to do to fix the problem. You know it wouldn't be a bad idea if one could reach support with install problems.

  20. Artboard units do not update when I change ruler units

    The units of the artboard do not update in the properties panel when I change the Rulers Units.

    I have to de-select, and re-select the artboard to make this happen.
