  1. Disappearing an outline size diameter of a brush tool

    When you just launch the Adobe Illustrator, you can see the outline size diameter of the cursor of brush/blob brush tools, but when you have drawn something the outline disappears , you can see only an icon of the brush and no clue what size is currently on.

  2. Select Objects Behind with Cmd/Ctrl click only works on filled objects

    https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/selecting-objects.html#select_behind_objects

    The option to select objects behind by holding Cmd/Ctrl and clicking sequentially works when clicking an object's fill, but not its path. As such, it doesn't work if 'Object Selection by Path Only' is enabled in preferences.

    I can't think of a reason it shouldn't work when clicking on a path, so I'm reporting as a bug.

  3. Illustrator uses UI scaling for menus from main display in dual display setup

    Windows 10, version 1803
    Illustrator CC (22.1)

    I have a dual display setup. Display 1 is 109ppi (27", 2560x1440) set to 100% UI scale in Windows settings. Display 2 is 282ppi (15.6", 3840x2160) set to 225% UI scale in Windows settings.

    Illustrator is set to 'scale to higher supported scale factor'

    If Illustrator is placed on display 2, with display 1 set as the 'main' or primary display in windows settings, Most UI items within Illustrator display as expected but menus and some other items become unreadable, because Illustrator appears to take its UI scaling setting from the display set…

  4. Dragging a new guide from a rule activates the artboard behind the ruler

    In a document with multiple artboards when I have an active artboard (black outline) and then go to drag a vertical guide from the left ruler, the measurements change and a different artboard gets selected that's running under the rulers. When clicking in the rulers any object, layer or artboard selection needs to be suspended.

  5. saving ai/pdf file is too slow

    Saving ai or pdf file takes a lot longer than what it supposed to be. This is newly purcahse mackbook pro that I am using and its performance is great with photoshop and other adobe apps. I even untick 'pdf compatible' setting but it won't change a thing.

  6. Illustrator version 22.1 keeps crashing my computer.

    Illustrator 22.1 (64 bit)
    Windows 7

    Illustrator keeps glitching when used. Program will experience extreme lagging as well as leave ghost tracers as objects are dragged across the screen. Has crashed this pc twice.

    Virtually unusable as it is currently running.

    Problem does not happen with either Photoshop or InDesign on this pc.

  8. Phantom lines at 315° are drawn in Outline mode at large zoom levels

    Illustrator CC 22.0.1 This has happened occasionally in the past few versions.
    I'll create an object with the pen tool, and close the object. When I zoom to make modifications on the path I sometimes see a path shoot off to the right at ~315° from one of the anchor points and it looks like the path connecting two anchor points isn't there. As I move it around or zoom out it'll disappear, but if I move back it comes back. Editing the object isn't affected, but it is highly visually distracting. Attached video file illustrates.

  9. The interface doesn't appear

    When I open Ai, the interface never load(1). If I pass the cursor over the top, that bottons appear(2). And, if I select a new color of interface appear the rest(3), but if I press "Ok", that disappears.

    Intel Core i3-5005U CPU @ 2.00 GHz
    4Gb ram
    64bits system

  10. can't paste object. the requested transformation....

    the image is 5 inches, and I'm pasting into a several page 8.5 x 11 document.... really can't tell you how much time I'm wasting, and I'm very irratated.

    I am not able to reproduce the issue on my side. Are you still able to reproduce this consistently on latest version of Illustrator?

  11. Illustrator 2018 Artboard Problem

    Every time I try to add a new artboard or rearrange existing artboards it causes Illustrator to freeze and I have to force quit. This was not a problem in Ai2017, please fix.

  12. It does not highlight the page on the artboard window

    I select a page from the artboard window. I navigate between pages with PageUp and PageDown on the keyboard.

    I'm looking at the artboard window. but I do not see which page I am on. it does not highlight the page.

    This problem came with the latest update. (Ullustrator version 22.0.0)

  13. Image Trace only creates a white box

    The "Image Trace" function only creates a solid white box, regardless of what image trace option I select.

  14. Artboard units do not update when I change ruler units

    Hi all,

    Also posted this to the Community Forums.
    The units of the artboard do not update in the properties panel when I change the Rulers Units.

    I have to de-select, and re-select the artboard to make this happen.

  16. Shortcuts stop working

    Sometimes my shortcuts on the keyboard just stops working, so I can't press cmd+d to duplicate, or copy etc, while I'm able to press Spacebar to move around.
    they just deactivate by themselves, while other's continue to work. To resolve this, I have to restart the program every time, even after short periods of working on the current project.

    The current project isn't even graphic intensive, but I get this issue. This has happened before a few times.

  17. ブラックの色をドラッグ＆ドロップで選ぶとBK100の色がリッチブラックになる

    塗り（または線）を画像のように下のブラックを選択するところからドラッグ＆ドロップで選ぶとBK100がリッチブラックになってしまった。 
ドラッグ＆ドロップではなく、クリックで色を選ぶとBK100になる。スウォッチの中に入っているブラックからドラッグ＆ドロップで選ぶとBK100になる。これはCS6の時からある
バグです。

  18. Can't see anchor point and handles of paths after breaking link to symbol.

    1. Version 21.1.0
    2. Draw the circle or any other simple shape, convert it to symbol then break link to symbol. Choose Direct selection tool and click on any anchor point. As result you will not see the handles of any point. The handles are shown only in isolation mode or outline mode but not in basic prewiew mode.

  19. W-Hの数値がリンクアイコンがアクティブなのにリンクしない

    Illustrator ver.28 以降
    macOS14.7.2

    再現手順
    1. Illustratorを起動して、新規ドキュメントを開き、アートボード上に矩形を描く。
    2. コントロールバーのWをクリックしてパネルを展開する。
    3. Wの欄に数値を入力し、タブキーでHに移る。
    4. リンクアイコンがアクティブになっているにも関わらずWとHの数値がリンクしない。親元のコントロールバーでは正常にリンクしている。

    期待する結果
    リンクアイコンの表示どおりWとHの値がリンクする。

    実際の結果
    片方の入力にもう一方が追随しない。

    代替の手順。
    数字を入力する前にアクティブになっているリンクアイコンをクリックしてオフにし、再度クリックしてリンクをアクティブにする。
    起動後１度だけこの手順を行うと以降は正常に動作する。

    Step to reproduce
    1. Launch Illustrator, open a new document, and draw a rectangle on the artboard.
    2. Click W on the Control Bar to expand the transform panel.
    3. Enter a value in the W field and press Tab to move to H.
    4. Despite the link icon being active, the W and H values do not link. They link correctly in the parent Control Bar.

    Expected Result
    W and H values link as indicated by the link…

    The issue seems to visible at our end after closing the Illustrator and reopening the file. However, it is just the value does not get updated in the pop up panel. The transformation change on the object happens fine and is reflected properly in the properties panel as well. Let us know if you are experience similar behavior or not.

  20. Arrow keys, Home & End keys don’t work when renaming Artboard names on canvas

    We now can rename artboards directly on canvas, by double-clicking a name, if 'Artboard names on canvas' is enabled in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display.
    However, navigating this input with arrows, Home, End, etc., is not possible. Please make it work.
