1. Paste to Center [not working]

2. Gradient locks to a color stop in the color tab

   Gradient locks to a color stop in the color tab. If I want to use a solid fill, on the color tab it only allows me to change the color stop. I cannot do anything to escape out of the gradient stop. I have to remove the gradient first then choose a color. Older versions allowed me to just click on the color fill box and I can toggle between gradient stop and object fill.

4. Selection of all objects inside a group instead selects group

   In previous versions of Illustrator if I was inside a group, and I selected all the objects, it would treat it like typical multi-selection. Now once I've selected all the objects, Illustrator behaves as though I have selected the group.

   For example, I have 3 objects at 40% opacity. I group them, so now there's a group (with 100% opacity) containing 3 objects (at 40% opacity). When I enter the isolated group, and I select the first object, the transparency shows 40%. Nothing changes when I select the second object (still shows 40%). However, when I select the third object, it now shows 100% (the containing group transparency).

   I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but it feels more like the former to me. If I wanted to select the group as a whole, I would back out of the currently active isolation group and select the group.

   I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.2.0 which is available worldwide now.

   Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

6. ALIGN not working correctly in Illustrator 23.0.3

   Ever since the latest update for Illustrator (23.0.3) Align does not work correctly. I've got 3 items selected; I click on the Align tab; use the "Align to" dropdown box and select "Align to Selection"; then click the "Horizontal Distribute Space" icon - but it distributes it across the page instead of just the THREE ITEMS I've selected.
   I've noticed other align issues over the last week or so but cannot give details like I did above because today I stopped my work so I can come out here an list my problem.
   There are so many bugs and issue with little things that used to work correctly. It is so frustrating for someone who spends their day working in this program. It makes my work go so much slower and just creates frustration.

7. Crash on File open/save while iCloud is running

   Here's the rant part:
   "2 days of productivity down the toilet, thanks Adobe. People use network drives. Deal with it."

   But on to the issue....
   Flying along for the past month on a new MacBook Pro working on various projects. Most of the projects end up on a network drive. iCloud (so I can switch to desktop quickly), Google Drive for collaboration and distribution.

   All has been working up until 4 days ago. Illustrator decides to crash/hang when I go to open any file, local or network. This project has a LOT of components to it, Illy files, PSDs, After Effects, Premiere.... there's a lot going on and I need all adobe products to work. So this has ground me to a halt.

   After a day of futzing around deleting prefs, cache, fonts, reinstalling AI and whatever else I could find when searching for help - nothing works until I start knocking off services like Bluetooth and the Wifi. Wifi did the trick.

   So eventually I head over to Adobe online Support. In fairness, they were quick to respond.

   The answer, it seems, was to knock off iCloud and Google Drive, then start them up again. Fine, so I do this and I get everything working again after letting iCloud resync for 2 hours.... - Adobe, citing "It's an iCloud/Google Drive issue"....Umm, no, It's clearly an Adobe issue!

   I'm back up again.... so I thought. Same issue again today. Freeze on open/save of ANY file not just a network saved file.

   This is the first time I've had this issue (that I can remember) and it seems to have only begun after a recent update to 23.0.3.

   So I guess I'm going to have to go through this process again and try to make sure I don't open a network based .ai file. Creating havoc with workflow.

   If anyone could shed light on this I would be grateful. Is there some sort of conflict (other than a network drive)? Again, this has been working for months without an issue.

9. Your popup suggestion about gradients removes pen/touch input on Wacom Mobility Pro

   When using a gradient mesh, a popup suggestion to check out new gradient tool features removes all but keyboard input. Until I can dismiss the popup, I can only use the keyboard, even outside the Illustrator application. Since the popup doesn't dismiss with keyboard input(at least that I've figured out), my only recourse is to save the file, close out of AI and shut down/restart the computer. Working on a Wacom MobileStudio Pro, Win 10, all drivers up to date, Illustrator is up to date.

10. Viewing New Features from Learn kept playing—after quitting

    With an Illustrator document open I clicked the Learn icon in Control panel, and chose New Features and clicked to watch the Properties panel movie. I quit AI and the movie began to play again… I hadn't quit it.
    there was no way to stop it. I muted the computer and restarted AI where the movie resumed and I could stop it. I resumed it playing and quit again and it quit the movie this time. so I couldn't replicate it—but it was odd!

11. ILLUSTRATOR IS BROKEN GARBAGE

    First of all this bug reporting website is horendious, and I expect nothing less from Adobe who make products that should put them out of business.
    Right now in Illustrator 2019 I cannot change the size of a font without stroke appearing on the text, if I turn the stroke off, the font shrinks in size again, now I'm here wasting my precious time typing out the stupidest problem imaginable. Another thing, I have absolutely no idea why when i click the type tool to the artboard there is text that appears automatically... is the paradigm of a blinking cursor too much for the ******* RETARDS at Adobe?

12. Unable to select individual anchor point to move

    I was trying to fill a shape with an object but can't select and move individual points to create the custom shape i'm looking to make. It just moves everything even if I have the other layers locked

13. SVG Export issue

    When exporting an svg, the file is "empty". There're only some bytes, but it shows in the browser, when you do some drag and drop. So, now comes the problem, if I sending the file to a workmate he get only a "Not working img". I must export the file a few times, with the same options to get a working svg.

    And sometimes the export delete the main file (.ai), I don't know why.

14. illustrator CC 2019 selection by path only broken with symbols

    1. In Prefs>Selection and Anchor Display check Object Selection by Path Only.
    2. Drag a symbol from the symbol pane onto the artboard. 2a. It needs to be one with a filled area.
    3. Choose the pen tool.
    4. Draw an unfilled, stroked path with an anchor point that is on top of a filled area of the symbol.
    5. Choose the Direct Selection Tool.
    6. Drag over the anchor point, making sure not to drag over any paths, just a filled area. Alternately, drag over a filled part of a symbol even without a path on top.
    7. Notice that the symbol becomes selected. It should not select the symbol. This is not how it worked in 2018 or previous versions. Also works correctly in CS6.

15. Bug: Stroke color with 0pt width causes a switch to "outline" view.

    When I have a path with a stroke of 0pt and I try to apply color, it will switch to "outline" view and won't allow me to go back to "GPU Preview", tell me something like "Can't render preview".
    The only way to bypass the bug, is to save the file, close Illustrator, open it again and voila everything works.

    Unfortunatelly, I can't reproduce the bug right now.

    Apply a stroke color to a 0 pt stroke should increase the stroke to 1 pt.

16. Pasted artwork does not remember sublayers

    When pasting artwork from one file to another with matching layer and sub-layer names, Illustrator will not remember sub layers and pasted artwork has to be re-sorted in to sub layers.

17. text edit

    Editing text in Illustrator 2019 is so difficult -- there's a heavy lag, and it is incredibly frustrating. This is size 12 font, small file -- there is no reason why editing this text should be lagging, and I've noticed others having the same problem. Please fix this ASAP!

18. Hide File Extension on Export

    It's very annoying that when exporting to .jpg, etc. the hide file extension box is automatically checked. This is awful. Why?!?

19. "Envelope distort > Make with top object" is warping/distorting text.

    I've seen this issue in a lot of online forums, but found no answer. I'm using the CC trial version, fairly new to Illustrator.

    Online tutorials show users creating a shape > typing text > converting text to outline > move shape to front > selecting shape and text > Object > Envelope Distort > Make with Top Object. It shapes the text perfectly to shape, without distorting the font or curving the letters.

    But when I follow these steps, but my text always comes out wavy and distorted within the shape. I've tried Envelope Options and deselecting "Distort Appearance" but this does nothing.

    I'm not really advanced enough to use the "Make with Mesh" option/workaround for filling shapes w/ text -- most people recommend this workaround but I'd love to be able to do what videos like this show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KPHYfDVq_0

    Why won't "Make from Top Object" work for me? So frustrating, seems pretty basic, according to many videos. But many people also seem to have this problem. Is it just a bug?
