Using Image Trace from Properties panel no longer works
Using Image Trace from Properties panel no longer works after update to 23.0.3 working on MAC OSX 10.14.3
Only way to get it to work is from Object > image trace

shape builder color swatch picker preview not syncing with swatches
when in the shapebuilder tool and swatches is selected it does not show the correct color in the preview window

Autosave disables itself
Windows 10, AI CC (latest release)
Autosave disables itself. When AI crashes - as it does - I get nothing.
I set auto-save for every 2 minutes in preferences. Then, after Illustrator crashes, I go back in to preferences to find it has unchecked that option. Nothing. I lose a load of work.
There are no expletives for how I feel about this. PLEASE sort it out?

illustrator crashes when using surface pen to draw
as soon as i use Illustrator to draw using my surface pen on my surface 4 pro illustrator crashes. it did this to me in the trail of cc 2018 however i assumed it was because of the trail version. i subscribed to cc 2018 a few days ago to draw and i haven't been able to draw with my tablet. mouse seems to work but as soon as i use a brush with my surface pen it crashes and will not allow me to generate a crash report as it stays gray forcing me to restart my computer.

Hello,Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience and disappointment the issue has caused. We do test our products thoroughly including running it through multiple beta testers and we really regret that this issue slipped past our quality checks.
We have a fix and is available in the pre-release build. Please visit https://adobe.ly/1o2SDsg and get the latest build for version 23.0.5 (Build 2). While the build is prerelease this build is still of production quality. Please feel free to use/recommend it for your day to day activity.

Slow Type Performance
I just recently updated to 22.1 running on Windows 10. I have a list of names that was copied from two columns (first name, last name) that was copied from an Excel spreadsheet. I'm trying to remove the tabs between the columns and replace them with spaces. Once I hit the backspace key it takes approximately 5 seconds to perform the backspace and another couple of seconds to add the space. This is a list of several hundred names so it is unmercifully crippling. Other operations outside of type are somewhat laggy but not nearly as bad. I cleared out…

Dégradé de forme libre / Freeform Lines / bug
Bonjour, j'utilise le nouvelle outil dégradé de forme libre avec plaisir. Cependant, je rencontre un problème récurrent : lorsque je sélectionne un objet contenant un dégradé de forme libre contenant 4 points et 2 couleurs, l'un des points disparait systématiquement. J'ai vérifié si l'un des points étaient en dehors de l'objet, ce n'est pas le cas. Je rencontre ce problème sur plusieurs objet, dans des documents différents. Est-ce un bug ? Avez-vous une solution à ce problème ? Merci

Twist effect does not act on a group as a whole...
When applying [Effects -> Distort and Transform -> Twist] to a group, the effect is applied on an individual object level and not on the group as a whole.

Content in the Search Adobe Help (top right) box will be randomly pasted into the filename when entering a typing in the Save As dialog box
Content that is in the Search Adobe Help (top right) box will be randomly pasted into the filename when entering a typing in the Save As dialog box.
Note that it only happens between 5% and 10% of the time. T
he only steps I can do to reproduce occasionally are to move the curser left or right or type a letter with the Save As dialog box open after typing something into the Search Adobe Help box.

Drop Shadow modal will not load, for new or existing shadows, crashes Illustrator CC 23.0.2
Drop Shadow menu will not load upon trying to apply a new drop shadow, or edit existing drop shadows. Software drops to 0% CPU, and software will not respond to any inputs. requiring me to close Illustrator via Task Manager.

User Interface zoomed in
The interface in my Adobe Illustrator 2019 is 'zoomed-in' and it's not the same size as other Adobe apps. I've attached a screen shot of Illustrator 2018 vs Illustrator 2019.
1 voteIllustrator has a feature to scale user interface on high resolution devices. You may choose to turn it off under preferences>User Interface>UI Scaling.

AI smartobject doesn't open from Photoshop
This is an old bug THAT IS BACK!!! Double clicking an AI smart object in photoshop opens Illuistrator but it doesn't open the object. You have to close Illustrator completely and do it over again until it works.

Colours Suddenly change and go lighter
Running latest Creative Cloud on El Capitan, 10.11.5.
When working on a file, all of my colors suddenly get lighter, almost like I'm working within a group. When I look at the swatch color values they have the same hex as a previous doc, but don't display the same.
As a quick test, I exported the corrupt version as a jpeg and rectified the colour in photoshop by altering the levels.
At the time of the switch I was working with the rotate and extrude tool.

Illustrator randomly fails on select-paste
23.0.1 64-bit on Win 10 Xeon with GPU accel. Selection, copy paste text fails randomly. Copy seems to work but all paste options grayed out. Yet I can paste to NotePad and other apps. This has been going on for over a year. Have to double click or paste to another doc first. Please fix!

Adobe Stock library window is crashing when trying to group elements together. I have experienced this on many occasions and on different computers and was hoping this would be solved in the latest release.

Switching application windows causes window to resize off screen
I'm not sure if this is an Illustrator issue or a window resizer issue (I use Divvy), but I'm using CC 2019 on OS 10.14 and every time I switch between two applications (or another space for that matter), my Illustrator window resizes off the screen. Is anyone else having this issue?

I clicked the 'align outside' button in the stroke panel and got this error.

Type on Path Issue
After I apply type on a path (circle) the circle isn't a circle anymore.
Circle without type on a path: Same height, Same width.
Circle with type on a path: Different height, Different width.I never had that issue before, after i apply text on a path (circle) the circle has still the same height & width values, why not now?
Please update adobe illustrator in January 2019
