  1. dimensions change when changing rgb to cmyk

    When I set a new artboard with specific pixel dimensions and ppi, I go to save the artwork as a JPEG and it completely changes my dimensions. I've played around with this for hours with no success. I've noticed that if I change the format from rgb to cmyk, this affects the size. This is a bug that needs to be fixed. Thanks

  2. Effects are expanded after pasting to a new document

    The effects like drop shadows become images after pasting to a new document.

  3. artboard blinkins when open multiple files

    I've noticed that when you select few / many files (.svg) and drag & drop to illustrator icon on doc (mac) - I mean you open it, Illustrator starts to open the files and artboard starts blinking very fast (black / white).
    It is very dangerous for people with epilepsy

  4. Not displaying png files. We're all having trouble with this aren't we?

  5. when I open Illustrator there are no tools showing

    I can't see my tools in Illustrator and I can't change or reset my Workspace :(

    I'm able to add some things like the Toolbar and Swatches/Layers/Etc windows, but I'm never able to see it complete, with that top bar that includes the Align + Transform + Etc

    Usually setting the Workspace to Essentials Classic does the job... please help!

  6. Split into Grid doesn’t work for objects smaller than 4.25 mm

    I've stumbled across a glitch in the Split into Grid code which prevents objects with dimensions smaller than 5mm from being split. See the video for a demonstration.

  7. Horizontal and vertical paths have 0.0001pt height/width

    Illustrator v24.1
    macOS 10.15.4

    All strictly horizontal lines have 0.0001pt “H Value”, while all vertical lines have

    0.0001 pt “W Value”. If I manually type 0 in these fields, it reverses back to 0.0001pt. Using up and down arrows does not set this value to zero either.
    These same lines are 0pt height/width in the previous version of Illustrator.

  8. Crashed while working flat design - PC

    I working with lastest application but crash. Windows 10 Home / Ryzen 5 2600 series / 32GB Ram / GPU Radeon RX 580 Series 4GB + 2GB (2 GPU)

    Unable to do things and no recovery! Triple times for April 2020. Please fix.

  9. Anchor pointer options becomes active while having a drawing tool (rectangle, line etc) active

    Draw some shapes. Now try to draw another shape/line starting from one of the anchor point of the previous shape. You can't because the anchor selection tool becomes active and it will take over the action. Thsi wasn't like that.

    The alternative is to draw shapes somewhere else and move afterwards the anchors to snap together. But is very annoying !!!!
    Please fix it.
    Why the old applications work the best and the newer ones are totally messed up? Why break a thing that works?

  10. Library panel button "Add Content" Disabled

    When I have an object selected on the artboard, "Add Content" button is disabled on CC Library panel.

    Also, when trying to add from Swatch options menu, I use the checkbox and select my libray, click the "OK" button but no swatch is added to the CC Library.

    Illustrator version is 24.1 running on macOS Mojave 10.14.6

  11. Transform effect vanished from Appearance Panel. Multiple times

    After using Distort & Transform/Transform from the Appearance Panel, I noticed that this effect was missing from the list of effects that I'd used. As you can see in the attached image, Transform is not in the list. The long shadow on this text is created using that effect and it is still live, but there's no way to edit it since it is not showing up in the Appearance Panel. I started over and created it once more and once again, it wasn't in the panel. I tried a 3rd time and it worked as expected.

  12. A semicircle shape gets exported as a circle in SVG

    When I create a shape that is between a circle and a square, it is rendered as a circle in an SVG export, while a PNG export (via save for web) makes a good shape.

  13. Round corners worked better before

    The round corner options when selecting a shape worked a lot better before the latest update (24.1.1). Before when you had hard edges in a shape you pretty much could make round edges on every corner. Now it only appears a few places.

  14. duet for iPad pen stroke and pressure not working in illustrator (it does in photoshop)

    using iPad and "duet" to provide pen stroke and pressure (using wacom drivers on the mac/adobe side). This DOES work in photoshop so the connection is working but it does NOT work in illustrator.

  15. Illustrator Freeze & Crashing

    After updating my Macbook Air to version Mojave version 10.14.6 and Illustrator to version 24.1 I am unable to work in Illustrator for more than 5 minutes before it freezes and my screen turns black. I can not click on any tool either and dropdown boxes and windows disappear.

  16. Mouse scroll doesn't work in Window, Object, other top menus

    Not only these menus, but every menu, I guess, but Window is the main one where it really happens, when you have a lot of plugins installed.
    AI then draws arrow at the top and the bottom of the menu panel, and the only option to scroll it is by pressing these arrows with mouse.
    So
    1. Please allow mouse wheel to scroll it.
    2. Please allow us to choose between 'one panel, arrows' mode and 'unfolding panels' mode.

  17. Deselect All does nothing when you edit width profile of selected path

    If you have a path selected and you work on editing its width markers with a proper tool and then Deselect all — path get deselected, but you still have your width markers active.

    So, AI basically allows you to edit width markers on paths without selecting them. It can be treated both good and bad, but when I say 'Deselect' I usually mean 'Stop anything from being selected' in ANY meaning, including editing width profile. Pressing Escape helps, but... you just don't expect it.

  18. Key anchor align mode gets activated when not actually needed

    Imagine I have an art I I want to move side points to be on the artboard's edge. There's a background underneath my piece and it's not locked (and I'm not in Outline mode) — so I can't marquee my 2 side points. What I do in this GIF is I click one point and then Shift+click another one. AI switches the mode to 'Key anchor', thinking that... I don't know what it's thinking :) and obviously pressing proper Align button does nothing.

  19. Distribute spacing value field doesn't show units anymore

    The field used to show units (like '50 mm') in version 23.
    In 24 it says just '50' with no 'mm' after.
    If you type in your own unit, it won't recalculate in current units, as every other field in AI can do.

  20. DRAW Projects can't be shared to Illustrator

    I am posting this as a BUG because I can't believe that this was intentional design--it must be a complete BUG.

    We can share individual drawings from Adobe DRAW to Illustrator, but when you have an entire PROJECT of drawings, the share option is limited to very LOW-resolution images on a web link or sending them to Behance as a portfolio piece.

    You don't want us to share a VERY BAD LOW RESOLUTION drawing to people do you? That can't be intentional.

    And why on earth can't we just send an entire project to our computer for Illustrator? I could…
