   This display of vertical/horizontal check mark has the behavior of defaulting to horizontal when multiple states are included in the selections. Quite simply, the default display of this multiple state is also problematic. It should be displayed with no check marks on both horizontal and vertical.
   It seems that even when a portion of a grouped object is selected, this function still refers to the state of the parent groups state. The display should accurately reflect the state of the selection.

2. Once you start typing a font name in the Font Browser the scroll wheel stops working

   Once you start typing a font name in the Font Browser the scroll wheel stops working.
   Several of the other menus don't scroll either. For example, the units dropdown in the create new document window.

   Arrow keys still work.

3. Bring to front/back not working with new update

   Manually right-clicking and selecting "bring to front" and "send to back" aren't working. The shortcut (ctrl + shift + [ or ] ) is also not working. This seems to have started after updating to version 29.4.

   Every tutorial I can find hasn't helped. This bug has massively increased my workload as I use this action every few seconds.

4. 一部の日本語フォントが正常に表示されない

   macOS Tahoe 26.0 / Macbook Pro Late 2023
   Illustrator 29.8.1

   添付画像のとおり、一部の日本語フォントが正常に表示されません。
   他のAdobeアプリ(Photoshop等)では正常に表示されますが、Illustratorだけがダメです。
   また、同じフォントでもウエイトによって表示される文字と表示されない文字が混在している様です。

   さらに、フォントパネル上ではフォント名が表示されていますが「フォントの検索と置換」のドキュメント内のフォント名が文字化けしています。

   Illustrator 28.7.9では正常に表示されている様なので、OS依存のバグではなさそうです。

5. 画像配置の際のフォルダ When placing or relinking images, Illustrator no longer remembers the folder location

   画像配置の際、複数回使っている同じ画像でもフォルダを記憶してくれず、大変に困っております。
   以前のように、一度フォルダを指定したら同じ場所を自動的に参照してくれる仕様に戻していただきたいです。
   制作作業において非常に不便で、効率に大きく影響しています。

   When placing or relinking images, Illustrator no longer remembers the folder location — even for multiple links that use the same image.
   It would be very helpful if Illustrator could once again remember the previously used folder, as it did before.
   This current behavior is extremely inconvenient and has a serious impact on workflow efficiency.

6. Use Artboards option disabled when exporting as PDF – even in new multi-artboard documents

   Description:
   In the current Illustrator version, the ‘Use Artboards’ checkbox in File ▸ Export ▸ Export As... ▸ PDF is greyed out and cannot be selected.
   This happens even in a new document with multiple artboards (e.g. 3 pages with simple shapes).

   Steps to reproduce:
   1. Create a new document with 3 artboards
   2. Add simple objects on each artboard
   3. Go to File ▸ Export ▸ Export As… ▸ Select PDF
   4. → “Use Artboards” option is greyed out

   Expected result:
   “Use Artboards” should be selectable so that Illustrator exports each artboard as a separate PDF file.

   Actual result:
   Option remains disabled; Illustrator exports a single combined PDF instead.

   Environment:
   - Illustrator version [29.8.2, e.g. 28.0.1 Windows 11]
   - Tested with and without PDF-compatible AI saving
   - No linked or embedded content involved

   Impact (Urgency):
   This issue prevents multi-page export workflows, critical in professional environments (e.g. signage, print production, packaging).
   It requires manual scripting or third-party tools to achieve basic multi-page PDF export, which significantly slows production and increases error risk.

   Please confirm if this is a known issue and if a fix is planned.

7. Issue saving document on hard drive after creating a pattern swatch, file won't save or AI crashes. Cloud document saves fine!

   I keep recreating a pattern swatch to use on a social media image, and every time I go to save the document Illustrator either crashes completely or won't save the file and I have to start over again. Weirdly, saving to the cloud works just fine, it's only when I have to my hard drive on my brand new MacBook Pro. If I do any other work within the file, it will save. But if I create the pattern and use it within the file, the crash happens. Expected result is to be able to save the file on my hard drive and retain the pattern swatch in the file. Please help!!

8. Illustrator uses 100% CPU, sustained, even when idle and no documents open

   I've observed many times that when Illustrator (29.7.1, on macOS 15.6) is idle in the background, it's running a 100% CPU task. Even if I close all of its open documents, the CPU use is at 100% CPU, and stays there until I quit.

9. "Learn the tools" popups appearing on their own

   The Learn popups for the tools on the tool bar keep appearing on their own whenever I am in the application. I have to wipe my mouse over them for them to disappear, just for them to keep popping up when I am using Illustrator. This continues to happen the entire time I am in the application.

10. Bug - Cannot access Hands on tutorials

    I was doing the hands on tutorials and then I loaded into the app and the section for them was gone in my tutorials tab. I found the webpage online that allows me to launch hands on tutorials from browser https://www.adobe.com/learn/illustrator?tutorialType=inApp&learnIn=1 and it leads to the screenshot provided. I would love to be able to continue doing the hands on tutorials. I ensured that I have no VPN installed, I updated graphics drivers, and reinstalled Illustrator to no avail.

11. モノクロになってしまう

    Adobeクラウドに保存していたものを開くと「プレビューを終了できません。指定した処理を実行できませんでした」というポップアップが出てしまい、保存していたものがモノクロになってしまって編集もできない。クラウドの一覧で見ると正常そう。

12. Illustrator crashes when I double-click a text to edit

    These are awful. You are awful. The program has closed 10 times. The reason is I don't want to double-click a text and edit it. I can't get it to work. You're screwed for the program. Every time I double-click a text and try to edit something, the program closes. The world's highest-earning software is a worthless software team.

13. Illustrator "froze" when adjust object in transform panel

    1. Mac Mini 2024 (Sequoia 15.5)
    2. Adobe Illustrator 2025 (29.6.1)
    3. Tried moving the selected object using "Transform" panel - X,Y value
    4. Adjusted the "Y value" by 1mm - the app dialog "Progress - Transforming Objects..." pop up and nothing happen, app just froze.

14. With no documents opened, clicking New doesn’t do anything

    Once I close all the artworks, I click on "New", nothing seems opening. I think it's bug

15. Text is not working

    My textboxes are empty including those that use to have text in it. I can create or select and edit them but when I type something in, nothing appears. If I try to select a text layer thats connected to a group, it randomly changes to selecting the parent/group.

16. Crashes immediately when adding a leader before a "tate-chu-yoko" text in vertical orientation

    Guaranteed immediate crashing upon adding a leader in the Tabs panel to a tabbed gap right before a character that's set as tate-chu-yoko.
    Now I have to use bad workarounds just to circumvent this...
    Hope it gets fixed soon.

17. 文字組みアキ量設定の動作不良

    1.お使いのオペレーティングシステムおよび Adobe Illustrator (デスクトップ版) のバージョン
    Windows10、Adobe Illustrator28.7.1

    2.問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
    Illustrator28.5以前で作成した添付の文字組み設定を、Illustrator28.7.1で開き、移動するなどすると前カッコが移動する。
    添付資料の文字組み設定を利用したテキストで、全角丸開始カッコのみ移動する。
    他の全角カッコでは問題なし。
    複数のPCで同様の症状が出る。

    4.実際の結果
    添付資料を確認ください。

    1件のデータ内に、上記の文字組み設定利用有無の文字列が混在しており、同様のデータが100件以上あります。大変困っています。
    現状は、Illustrator27.9.5で対処しています。

19. New document page dimensions resetting as I'm typing them

    Create a new document, type in desired page width, press tab to go down to the height field and suddenly it's reverted back to what was in those fields previously. Have to go back and re-enter the correct dimensions.

20. Selected an object in a bottom layer makes it render on top when exporting to TIFF

    When exporting to TIFF(doesn't happen when exporting to PNG), if I have text selected at the time, it appears at the front, when there should be layers above. I have attached a sample Illustrator file and resultant TIFF.
