Apple Emoji glyphs now crop at the bottom when rasterising + viewing - after Big Sur update
I have updated to Big Sur. 2018 MacBook Pro. The Apple Emoji glyphs updated. Now, they are cropped about 3-5px on the bottom. Baseline shift doesn't help, rasterising doesn't help, changing the size of the type doesn't help. The emoji are permanently cropped now in both 2019 and 2020 AI versions, as well as in Photoshop. This is both when viewing the letterform, and when rasterising or outlining it. Please help! <3 I am trying to finish a job that looked great before Big Sur. Can't find anything on line.

Save for WEB makes main window unaccessible
Open Save for WEB => change the Image Size => hit Enter. Sometimes the next window popups invisible and I have no access to it. Thus it is impossible to close the Save dialog and get back to the artwork. Anywhere I click I only hear the ding sound (meaning like I have to confirm or cancel something first).
Save for Web window is inaccessible with mouse too: I cant resize it or interact with any of its UI elements. I can move it tho.But I can jump elements with the Tab button. With Tab, if I hit Enter…

Color palette will come opened but immediately flash close
Several actions will fly open and fly closed such as the color palette when selected it will fly open and then immediately close

Issue with Illustrator starting page screen
Since the last 2-3 days whenever I open illustrator, the starting page screen is appearing this way (see attached image). I don't know what I can do to fix it.

Still not able to paste (Cmd + V) text when creating a new folder in Save As / Save a Copy / Export As dialog box in Ai 2020
In the latest update the copy and paste option is fixed when trying to do it in the save as dialog box. But if I try to create a new folder with the save as dialog box open I still cannot cmd+v to paste text into the field.

91 votesThis issue was reintroduced in MacOS update Ventura. The team ran into another issue while implementing the workaround suggested by Apple. While the team revisits this issue, users can use workaround this issues by paste through context menu. Thank you all for the patience.

RGB colors appear differently in identical file setup
I have created color codes in one document and brought them into another (with the exact same RGB setup) and the color breakdowns change to look the same. This is a problem because if I am sharing the RGB breakdowns with others, some of the colors appear much duller. I have noticed that something changes when an image is brought in from an external source sometimes. This is becoming a big issue across our team.

Copy and Paste
Observation
• If a User copies text from Illustrator and attempts to paste that data (such as a very detailed and random artboard range) into the Range field of a Export dialogue box they will be unable to paste that informationResults
• User is forced to paste the text into a Browser address bar (for example) and copy it again for the paste function in the Range field to workExpected Results
• A User could copy and paste easily within any dialogue box from any sourceOSX

New Update interfaz error
In the new update, the interface shows errors when I select create new file and when I tell it to save to the cloud. The numbers and file names are not read in full.

Zoom w/ Command + Space Bar screen grays out
Hi - when I zoom in close to anything in AI using Command + Space Bar I will get a grayed out background and the object is very pixelized & strange looking - see attached screenshot. This happens about 50% of the time I do this. Can you look into fixing this bug? MacOS Catalina v 10.15.7, AI 25.4.1 Thank you.

Typing in tamil Problem.
when typing in tamil language. box type character appears when I press space bar. When inserting White space also.
This Problem also present in photoshop.

Vector shapes changed to a section of the path I had deleted
I'm creating kaleidoscope patterns. To do this, I created a shape that is like a thin pizza slice (1/12th of a circle). I did this by using the pathfinder tool to intersect a circle with a triangle.
I took the resulting "pizza slice with a rounded top" shape and duplicated it multiple times. I then spent the next several hours using these to crop various patterns for sections of my kaleidoscope.
After a few hours a familiar bug appeared, where the bounding box around a shape it huge. I checked my remaining "pizza slices" and discovered that half of them…

Illustrator is not exporting with the current file name
- Create a document
- Draw a rectangle (just for it to have something inside)
- Save it anywhere as '1.ai'
- Export a, say, TIF, with default settings (these don't really matter) — Ai will offer '1.tif' name for the file exported
- Save this document as '2.ai'
- Export another TIF — Ail will use '1.tif' name, although the file is now '2.ai' This is wrong. Ai should adapt the name from the file actual name and not the original one.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Info panel useless for graphs
[Illustrator 25.0, Windows 10 Enterprise]
When using Group Select tool to select an element within a graph, the Info panel shows nonsensical values (e.g. W: -2730p6 H: -2730p6 ). Since the Transform panel has never shown values for graph elements (grayed out, 0 and 0), we relied on the Info panel to check the size of graph elements.
We use Illustrator exclusively for graphs, and this bug makes it impossible to follow our sizing standards.
This is an ongoing bug, every graph, every element of it, all the time.

Illustrator 25.3.1 Increase Text with Shift Option Broken
When I hold down shift and option key to expand text it won't enlarge the text.
Not sure what I am doing wrong or if this is a bug. Would be super helpful if your team were to fix this issue if it were a bug.Thank you for all that you do.

Bounding Box is invisible on Apple display, but not on MacBook
I use a MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt Display attached. With recent upgrade, the bounding box becomes invisible when viewed on the display, but is visible when viewed on the MacBook. Artboards are also very pale grey, very hard to see, (when adding new ones)

Export Artboards occasionally exports bleed
I'm using Windows 10, up to date as of 8th Nov 2020.
I have a new file, 85mm x 55mm. set up with a 3mm bleed. When attempting to export a JPG or PNG without the bleed (so, only the artboard visible) it still outputs the bleed area. I have tried exporting for screen, exporting with the 'Use Artboards' box both checked and unchecked. I have even reset my Illustrator preferences. No idea why this is suddenly not working in V25.0
I also get an error when attempting to export at 300DPI, which has never been an issue in the…

Isolation Mode button doesn’t appear in Control if live text is in a group
If a group contains live editable text (ie-non outlined text) I cannot enter isolation mode unless that text is deselected.

New update v25.1 is extremely buggy
With this new update I get the 'spinning beachball' constantly while trying to zoom in or out of the artboard.
Also - I have multiple objects with clipping masksI'm seeing unprecidented levels of glitches and visual artifacts all over the place that appear/disappear/reappear when zooming in and out. It's nearly unusable in this state!6 votes
