Save As or Save Copy not working
I have a document (on a network share). I can edit the file and save it normally.
But SAVE AS or SAVE COPY do not work at all. Just Nothing Happens.

Mouse right-click Select next Object Below does not work
When I right-click with the mouse on an object and try to select next object below it does not work/does nothing.
20 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.3.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

A semicircle shape gets exported as a circle in SVG
When I create a shape that is between a circle and a square, it is rendered as a circle in an SVG export, while a PNG export (via save for web) makes a good shape.

バージョン：2020。2020/9/4現在で最新のもの
2：ショートカットキーで、「戻る」「進む」を何度か連打する
3：データの巻き戻し等ができる
4：「戻る」「進む」で変化があったオブジェクト自体が丸ごと消える
例）テキストオブジェクト「こんにちは」の「は」の部分に変更があった場合、テキストオブジェクト「こんにちは」自体が消滅します今回大切なデザインデータが消えて憤っています。便利な機能追加は有難いですが、デバックはきちんとやって頂きたいです。これは数人体制で1日デバックすれば分かるレベルかと。

Objects missing when exporting JPEG
Objects/vectors on my art board are missing when exporting file to jpeg. Issue started happening in new Ai 2020 update.

Export for screen file name not working
So, I am using Illustrator 25.0 on a Mac 10.15.7 and when I want to export artboards through export for screen menu, the output file only contains the artboard name. The file name is missing (as prefix).
The process is:
1. I create a document.
2. Draw a rectangle (or anything) in artboard named 'rectangle'.
3. Save it anywhere as 'test.ai'
4. Export the artboard using export for screen as a JPG, with default settings — Ai won't show any file name.
5. The exported file is named rectangle.jpg instead of test-rectangle.jpgIn older versions the exported artboard used to…

Freezing when selecting multiple artboards

Illustrator Ver 24.2.1- Make multiple artboards
- Select two artboards
This operation freezes the operation of Illustrator.
This problem does not occur in Ver.23.1 and 22.1.

Copy-pasted text don’t show ö,ü,ä,õ letters
If I copy "täpitähed" (or whatever text with those letters in) it gives messy text where öüäõ letters are not seen at all. It worked nicely before... but now sometime it becomes this messy paste. Can you please fix it!

Align to dropdown not working
Version: 24.3 (64-bit)
Expected behaviour: Change the 'Align to' dropdown between 'Selection' and 'Artboard'
Actual behaviour: The 'Align to' dropdown in the Align panel only updates when multiple objects are selected.

My knife tool is missing
The knife tool has been below the scissors before, but now its gone ... Why?
(see image below)3 votesThe tool is still there, but he team decided to hide the Knife tool from the Basic toolbar, based on the usage statistics, aiming to reduce clutter for new users.
You can still access it. There are two options:
1. Go to Window > Toolbars and pick Advanced, to view the classic tool layout, including all plugin tools added.
2. Press Edit Toolbar button at the bottom of your current toolbar (with three dots), find the Knife there (it’s the last one in the Modify section), and drag it into the panel in the slot you find fitting (be careful not to insert it into a tool-group by mistake, it’s a tight wiggle).

Accessing onedrive files
We store all our art files on onedrive. I am unable to import or access illustrator files from our onedrive. Would love to be able to open, edit and re-save to make in the moment adjustments. Or am I doing something wrong?

Problem with Direct selections (A) - Clicking on the patch does not mark the object
Hi,
something has changed in Illustrator updates.I understand that an object nested / masked in an object should not be editable with the Selections Tool (V) from the main object level. Yes, and that's good.
But definitely NOT when use tool (A). This is a different work scope situation in Illustrator when working with the Direct Selections Tool (A).
Then each track visible in the Outline view should be selectable.This has made the job a lot more complicated now when I want to select objects inside a crop and edit their properties or shape.

3D Revolve Clipping
3D Revolve is clipping the front faces. I can get the faces to appear when the object is in a different rotation, when it object is parallel with the view. I've tried this with both a normal path and a compound path.
I think the plane the 3D object is being rendered to is too far forward.

illustrator does not show my printer automatically
I have been using illustrator more than 3 years. After the last update, Illustrator does not show me the default printer in the computer when I command "print". I tries to save the file as PostScript file. I completely deleted the illustrator and all the adobe files and re-installed them back, but it didn't get fixed. I have several illustrator in several computers, and only one of them has this problem. Is there any solution for that?

Copy / paste not working - breaks text formatting and usually drops any vector content as well. This happens whether the copy/paste is within one Illustrator file or between two. VERY frustrating. I've found that I can occasionally get it to work by copying and pasting within the same document (everything must be grouped as one), and if it is successful, quickly copy the pasted version and then it might paste into the other Illustrator file.
Solution from support was to downgrade from 24.4 to 24.01. This seems to have done the trick - but now I can't allow CC…

Can't Select Center Point of Symbol to Drag
After the latest update, I'm unable to drag symbols from their center point.

Layer colors changes on download from Creative Cloud
After downloading an illustrator cloud document to my desktop, the resulting file has the wrong layer colors. The colors appear to change to the default order; blue, red, green, etc.
We have our artwork on the second layer, which changes to red, and red is a terrible color for anchor points against artwork. Also, our translator uses color coded layers for different languages, and we really don't want to have to change them all back.

Not being able to grab smaller objects
I don't know exactly when this changed but I noticed how system has a much lower grabbable distance around things. I end up toggling a lot between the outline view ctrl+Y and selecting things that way which is not efficient.
we always have a lot of fills and effects, so when I try to grab things I'm always grabbing shadows that are so much larger than the line it came from so I have to use it a lot. This didnt use to happen before with older versions, can this be improved for future upgrades?1 vote
