  1. PLEASE FIX SCREEN FLICKERING!!!!

    The screen flickers when you move the cursor—it's driving me insane!
    Switching from GPU to CPU solves the issue but then I lose animated zoom, which sucks!

  2. 長方形を方向キーで変形すると途中から半端な寸法数値になる

    MacOS12.7.3, Adobe Illustrator28.3
    ドキュメント設定の単位、 環境設定の単位→一般・東アジア言語をミリメートル、環境設定の一般→キー入力を0.1 mmに設定。
    長方形を描画し、shift＋方向キーの入力（1入力1mmの移動）で幅や高さを拡大または縮小していくと、4〜8回目くらいから中途半端な数値になります。方向キーのみでも何回めかに中途半端な数値になります。
    ずっと整数で変形したいのに困っています。

    The windows I last opened are forgotten every bootup. Only the project window opens by default. (Switching Workspaces doesn't open the windows it normally opens either. The windows that were opened do not change when switching Workspaces.) I have to open each window manually every bootup.

  4. Dash offset defined by a negative strokeDashOffset value is not respected when a stroke is outlined

    Illustrator has a strokeDashOffset property that sets the indentation of the first stroke in the dashed line.

    It works when specified through the script, but there is no similar field in the interface of dashed line settings, i.e. it looks like a hidden functionality. It’s still legal and it works, but at the same time, a dashed line created with this parameter cannot be outlined correctly using standard Illustrator tools when the value is negative.

    It's a cursed property: it's a pity to ignore it, and it's a shame to use it because of its unreliability.

  5. Opacity for list objects (bulleted or numbered) lost after closing a file

    When you reduce the opacity of a text object that contains a list - either just a list or a list plus "normal" text, that opacity gets deleted once you have saved the file. It's not even saved into the PDF part of the file.
    If you apply the opacity at the Character level or if you create an additional fill for the text object and then apply reduced opacity, it works.

  6. Unable to place image files of any kind into Art Illustrator

    Illustrator v 28.4.1
    When trying to place or drag an image file into AI I get the error message "unknown format and cannot be opened" or "in a format which can not be placed". These are all existing files that I have used many times. I tried EPS, JPG, and PNG. It will not allow any new images. In addition, the image files in my existing files are now broken. Attached are the errors I am getting for the new files

  7. Crash when clicking on options in … (More Options) popup in the Properties panel

    This one exist for at least a year: when object is selected and Properties panel docked to the right, click on the … (More Options) button in the Transform section. Then it either crashes immediately or when some option is modified (like "Scale Strokes and Effects").

    I remember I reported that while ago, but got no reply and obviously no attention from support team.

  9. 新規ファイルを保存しようとするとクラッシュする

    新規ファイルを立ち上げて、保存しようとするとクラッシュする
    イラストレータが固まり、強制終了することになる。

    1.メニューのファイルから保存できない
    ・保存
    ・別名で保存
    2.ショートカットキーでも保存できない
    ・保存(⌘ S)
    ・別名で保存(shift ⌘ S)
    全て同様。
    新規ファイルを作成できないので、既存の作業済みのファイルを活用することでなんとか新しいファイルに作り替えている。
    ※既存のファイル（すでに名前があるファイル）は保存(⌘ S)できるが、別名保存（shift ⌘ S）にするとクラッシュする
    ↓
    イラストレータを立ち上げる前に以前作業したファイルをコピーして、リネームしてから、ファイルを開いて、レイヤーや画像、テキストなど、全て削除してから、作業しています。
    もう何ヶ月もこのような状態で、とても使いにくいです。
    バージョンアップも、creative cloudからアンインストールも試したが、状況は変わりませんでした。
    解決策があれば教えていただきたいです。

  10. 文字パネルで合成フォントを選択すると、テキストの操作ができなくなる

    文字パネルで合成フォントを選択する操作を行うと、
    ・テキスト自体が表示されなくなる
    ・表示されていても他のフォントに変更できなくなる
    ・文字化けのような状態になることもある
    ・このバグが発生しているテキストオブジェクトをコピーすると「オブジェクトをコピーできません。メモリが足りません。ID：-108」というエラーが発生する
    ・まれにバグが発生しないこともあり、再現性や規則性は不明
    などの不具合が発生します。

    いずれにせよ、この不具合が起きるとテキストツールでの操作やドキュメントの保存が一切できなくなってしまいます。
    合成フォントではない通常のフォントを使用していても、まれに「同じ名前の合成フォント「○○」が既に存在します。」というエラーが発生し、その後Illustratorはフリーズします。

    Illustrator 28.5, 28.4.1, 27.9.4でこのバグを確認しています。
    OSバージョンはWindows 11 Pro 10.0.22631 ビルド 22631です。

    ・環境設定の削除やアプリケーションの再インストール
    ・グラフィックドライバの更新
    ・PCの再起動
    ・SFCやDISMなどのOS修復
    ・FNTCACHE.DATの削除
    などの操作も行いましたが解決しませんでした。

    不具合の様子をキャプチャしたものを添付しております。
    解決策をご存じの方はいらっしゃいますでしょうか。よろしくお願いいたします。

  11. Confusing repeated profile mismatch warning

    When drag and drop is used to place an image into an Illustrator document that has a color profile that is different than the image, Illustrator will link the image and will not warn for the profile difference, even if the profile mismatch warning is checked in the Color Settings.
    Using the Place command it will give you a warning about the Profile mismatch.
    When the document is saved and opened, Illustrator will start to warn for an Embedded Profile Mismatch and say that the document has an embedded profile that does not match the current RGB Working Space.

  13. New document screen doesn't close upon creating new document, locking me out of program

    The following issue has popped up a couple times now: I'll be working in Illustrator (Windows 10) and want to create another new document. I'll navigate to File>New and be faced with the New Document popup. I'll select my desired parameters and hit "create," and the document will be created behind the popup -- but the popup won't close, and I can no longer click the main Illustrator window to work behind it.   14. Flickering when zooming with animation after update to Illustrator 2024 28.3

    I was trying to fix the insane lag in the previous version, even though I had all the drivers updated(I have MSI RTX 3080 and Ryzen Threadripper 3960X with 64 GB of RAM so it's not a performance issue).

    After updating the lag got worse and when I zoomed in with the GPU enhancing features which is zoom with animation. The canvas was flickering when using the zoom shortcut CTRL+SPACEBAR. I then opened a fresh document and noticed this problem wouldn't occur. So the issue is the fact I had the view grid on on my other document.

  15. Adobe Illustrator 27.8.1 creates a pdf where the colour space of the custom profile is incorrect

    Hello,
    I came back from holiday today and a colleague at work told me that she can't create PDF files from Adobe Illustrator with the output intent that it saves but reports a colour space error when opened in Adobe Acrobat. First I deleted all the presets but the error remained. I also tried creating a PDF file with other profiles (created by us) and the error was there for all of them. But if I used the default profiles from Adobe (e.g. Iso Coated v2), the PDF file can be opened correctly. Finally I downgraded Illustrator to version 27.7…

  16. The ignoreWhite property of tracingOptions does not work

    Illustrator v 28.0 - Image Trace option check box for Ignore White has been replaced with Ignore Color and an eyedropper option. While I think this is a good addition for manual use, it appears to have somewhat broken the ability to use image trace properly in javascript as the change has made the original "tracingOptions.ignoreWhite = true" no longer work. I suspect there is now an additional option/variable responsible for the color to be ignored's selection but it doesnt appear to be refferenced in any of the current documentation.   17. 스포이드로 다른 쉐입을 찍으면 흰색깔로 바뀝니다.

    원래 스포이드로 다른 쉐입을 찍으면 그 쉐입이 가지고 있는 속성(색깔, 획 등)이 모두 복사되어 들어와야 되는데 적용이 안됩니다.

  18. Text Input Fields Displaying as Broken Text

    Sonoma 14.5 running on MacBook M1 Pro.

    All input fields are now ????????? every time I select them edit values. All keystrokes turn into ?.

    The only third party apps I use are rectangle and scroll reverser. Problem persists after closing the apps. Running the same version of Illustrator on an M2 MBP at work with no issue.

  19. Entering a new value for width or height in Properties Panel sometimes add the value to the old one instead of replacing it

    If I enter a new value for either W or H in Properties then it will take that new value and add it to the initial one.

    I did not provide any input for a additive value. It does not happen every time but here and there an instance like that will occur.

    Say the shape is 1024px by 1024px and I wanted to make it 2048px by 1024px.
    Ai will then sometimes make it 3072px by 3072px.
    Other times it will just scale the shape up to fill the entire workable space in Ai.

  20. Recolor Artwork tool broken

    Mac Sonoma 14.2.1, Illustrator desktop 28.5 Recolor Artwork,
    1) I click on the arrow between current color and new color to prevent the tool from changing the current color but the tool is changing the color anyway and including it in the mix when rotating colors around from a color group.
    2) Two colors are in a current color row and I used to be able to drag one of them out to an empty row, but now when I attempt to drag just one of the two, they both move.
