1. グラデーション90度で印刷時に天地が逆転する

   A4でアートボードを２つ、両面デザインで作成。
   １つのアートボードに、背景色として長方形を設置。グラデーションで色を塗り、角度を90度に設定。
   すると、印刷時に天地がそのアートボードだけ逆転します。グラデーションの角度を０度や180度にすると正常の天地で印刷されます。グラデーションではなく単色にしても正常に印刷されます。グラデーション（どの色配置でも）にして、かつ90度設定にすると、天地が逆転します。PDF出力する場合、見た目は正常ですが印刷すると天地が反転されてしまい、同じです。
   まったく新しいドキュメントで作成して試しても再現されました。
   プリンターとの相性の問題、プリンター側の問題もあるかと思いますが、イラストレーター上での操作によって発生したりしなかったりするので、念のためご報告でした。

3. AI gave me a made up vector instead of a vector of my drawing

   I tried to vector my drawing and the AI gave me a made up vector of it's own and charged me for a result I never asked for. I used a default prompt, following the tutorial example. The vector produced looked like a transformer type character. Any advice would be helpful.

   ExtendScript never releases PathPoint objects, so scripts slow down until Illustrator restarts

   Versions: Illustrator Beta 31.0.0, macOS 26.7.1. Also reported in Illustrator 2026 on Windows (community thread).

   Summary

   When a script gets a path point (pathItem.pathPoints[i]), ExtendScript creates a PathPoint object, plus a PathPoints object for the collection and an Array for .anchor. None of these are ever released. As they build up, every later script in that engine gets slower, including scripts that never touch path points. Only quitting Illustrator clears them.

   Steps to reproduce

   1. Run the script below from File > Scripts in a freshly launched Illustrator.
   2. Run it again a few more times.

   Expected

   Once the shapes are deleted, the document is closed and $.gc() has run, the PathPoint and PathPoints counts drop back to 0, as the PathItem count does. The job takes the same time on every run.

   Actual

   • The PathItem count returns to 0, but every PathPoint, PathPoints and anchor Array stays alive. Each run adds 24,000 more.
   • Reading the same point twice adds nothing, so each point gets one object, cached and never freed.
   • The fixed job, which never reads a point, gets slower with every run and stays slow:

   Things that don't release the objects

   • Deleting the shapes, setting every reference to null, and calling $.gc() repeatedly.
   • Closing the document without saving.
   • Also reported on Windows: undoing back to an empty document, removing the points first (pathPoint.remove() / pathPoints.removeAll()), and waiting 5 to 30 seconds. It happens in CEP panel engines as well as the main engine. Just taking a point (var p = pp[i]) without reading any property creates the object.

   Impact

   This affects any script that reads many path points (cleanup, comparison or measuring tools) and every script run after it in the same session. Today the only fix is to restart Illustrator.

   Requests

   1. Release PathPoint / PathPoints objects when they are no longer referenced, or at least when their path is deleted.
   2. Provide a way to read a path's points in bulk as plain numbers, so no PathPoint object is created for each point. Today there isn't one: toSource(), uneval() and String() don't return coordinates.

   Bug was noticed by forum user Glenn Wilton (link to post above) and report was drafted by Claude Opus 5.5.

5. Exporting .ai files using Export for Screens includes clipped content from neighboring artboards

   Sending in this bug report for my employer. When Export for Screens makes individual .ai files, it isn't isolating the artwork by artboard. It's also recognizing any cropped images from neighboring artboards that are touching the cropped images on the artboard being exported. Command Y (preview) shows the wireframes and how much stuff is overlapping.

   She tested positioning the artboards far enough apart so none of the neighboring artboards' cropped images are overlapping in preview. This worked, and the ai files export perfectly clean. However, she needs the artboards to be close together for this particular workflow.

6. トラックパッドを使って３本指ドラッグをした時の挙動

   トラックパッド使用時 ３本指ドラッグを使用し オブジェクトを移動させた後、指を離した瞬間に オブジェクトが停止した場所と違う場所に動いてしまいます。マウスで操作した時は大丈夫です。改善をお願い致します。

7. Data integrity bug: Illustrator 30.3 changes CMYK swatch values after pasting clipboard bitmap image and reopening file

   Summary:
   Adobe Illustrator 30.3 reproducibly changes CMYK swatch values after a bitmap image from the system clipboard is pasted into a CMYK document. The issue appears after saving, closing, and reopening the .ai file.

   Steps to reproduce:

   1. Create a new CMYK document in Illustrator 30.3.
   2. Create a CMYK swatch, for example C10 M10 Y10 K0.
   3. Paste any bitmap screenshot/image from the system clipboard into the document.
   4. Save the .ai file.
   5. Close the file.
   6. Reopen the file.
   7. Check the CMYK swatch value.

   Actual result:
   The CMYK swatch value changes from C10 M10 Y10 K0 to approximately C9.77 M9.77 Y9.77 K0 after reopening the file.

   Expected result:
   The CMYK swatch value should remain exactly C10 M10 Y10 K0. Pasting a bitmap image from the system clipboard should not modify existing CMYK swatch definitions.

   Additional observations:

   • The issue is reproducible in Illustrator 30.3.
   • The issue is specifically triggered by bitmap images pasted from the system clipboard.
   • If no clipboard bitmap image is pasted, the CMYK swatch value does not change.
   • CMYK values such as 0%, 50%, and 100% do not appear to change.
   • Values such as 10% change to approximately 9.77%, which suggests a possible unintended 8-bit quantization or percentage remapping.
   • This is not just a display issue. The saved file reopens with changed CMYK swatch values.

   Impact:
   This is a serious print/prepress data integrity issue. It can silently alter exact CMYK swatch values, brand colors, and production colors in saved Illustrator files.

8. Can’t access my Creative Cloud file

   Following this new year and updates, my Broward County Public School account subscription suspended and I had to re-sign in. All of my files that i saved in creative cloud are gone and did not load with time. There were many important projects in illustrator. I am on a Thinkvision PC. With Illustrator 2025. 9. 「選択範囲を書き出し」でSVGを書き出す際、無関係なPNG画像が同時に出力される

   Illustrator 2024で「選択範囲を書き出し」からSVGを書き出す際、本来選択しているオブジェクトではなく、無関係なPNG画像や別のSVGデータが出力されます。

   問題のPNG画像は、
   ・アートボード上に存在しない
   ・現在開いているファイル内にも存在しない
   ・2年ほど前に使用した記憶のある画像
   ・アセット書き出しパネルにも表示されない

   という状態です。

   また、
   ・新規ファイルを作成しても再発する
   ・通常のPNG書き出しでは発生しない
   ・「選択範囲を書き出し」→SVGの場合のみ発生する

   ことを確認しています。

   さらに、出力されたSVGには、現在選択しているオブジェクト以外の無関係な内容も含まれており、意図した内容だけを書き出すことができません。

   使用環境：
   Illustrator 2024（28.7.10）
   macOS Sonoma 14.6.1

10. Navigator is not navigating

    Illustrator 30.2.1. Macbook

    In the Navigator panel so I can see my artboard and all the items in it. But when my view is for example in the upper right corner, and I click on the lower left corner, because I want my view to pan over there, it only brings me a little bit more to the left. It seems like a big bug and the Navigator is now sort of useless. In previous Illustrator editions it was working perfectly.

11. Content of Dynamic Symbols moves when moved with the Selection tool.

    It was recently mentioned on the Illustrator forum that the content of Dynamic Symbols is shifting when the symbol is moved with the black selection tool. Changing the type to Static seems to solve the problem.

12. Multipoint Freeform Gradients Uneditable

    Randomly all gradients in Illustrator with multiple points become uneditable, I cannot click on "Edit gradient" button and if I manage to it does nothing. Point on gradient temporarily come up when in Gradient panel, but disappears when I click off. I have reset the application numerous times.

14. Transparency mask bugs with "Gaussian Blur" effect applied inside the mask

    I've got an object with a transparency mask applied which contains a "Gaussian Blur" effect, when I want to align it with the Properties panel"(copy of the first object - pasted on second object), the effects change totally (I need to change the blur from 80 to 30 to have nearly the same effect.

15. Color Mixer in Control and Properties panels gets broken after using Tab

    The Color Mixer in Properties and Control works oddly. Here, I try to navigate my fields with Tab, and then drag one slider — boom, it all breaks: sliders vanish, active fields become visually inactive, closing it becomes very hard...

    I feel like it started happening when the generative virus put its tendrils into Ai.

16. Some CC Library linked assets cannot be found -- all files with renamed linked assets are damaged and this disruptive messages interferes

    I've renamed CC library assets. Now, all Illustrator files that use these assets are broken.
    When such a file is opened, I get constant messages that say "Some CC Library linked assets cannot be found. Click Replace to relink assets using the Links panel." As I try to relink, I the message again and again, preventing me from working the file. Also, when I choose replace, my CC libraries flatten and I can't search or navigate to the assets. I can select broken assets and choose embed as well as "edit original" So, the assets are still linked, but the program doesn't know that and keeps displaying the message, sometimes as often as every 30-seconds. I believe this problem began after I started renaming CC assets to be more effectively searched, but I'm not absolutely sure. I have hundreds, perhaps thousands, of files that are now broken.

17. Relink not working as expected

    I am trying to use "relink," in the Links panel, to replace images that have already been placed into an Illustrator clipping mask.
    When I click "relink," I am expecting to be able to place a link to an image I'm pasting or typing the name of, because I have a huge list of filenames I'm pulling from, and I don't want to have to navigate to the file in the UI.
    However, when I type the filename, the "link" checkbox is grayed out. When I click "place," I would expect it to simply embed the file, but, instead, the "link" checkbox now becomes available and is unchecked. This is inconvenient, because it means I cannot use my keyboard workflow to get through the dialogue and must switch between mouse and keyboard times for each placement. (I need to write a script to place lots of images, but that's beside the point.)
    CONVERESELY, when I navigate in the filename list to the actual file I want to place and CLICK on it, it automatically activates the "link" checkbox and it is checked by DEFAULT, which is what I want, but I don't think I should have to do this every single time I want to place something, especially when I'm placing 20-100+ images at a time.
    Furthermore, the options for which images to replace are limiting, because it asks me if I want to replace one image or all, but it only allows me to include the images that are identical to each other. I then have to select a new set of images to replace them if they are not duplicates of the original image. this workflow is very clunky. Please fix it! Thanks. :)

18. Illustrator 30.6: Window geometry is corrupted after exiting Presentation Mode on MacBook Pro M4 (macOS Tahoe 26.5.2)

    I can consistently reproduce a window geometry issue in Adobe Illustrator after exiting Presentation Mode.
    After pressing Esc to leave Presentation Mode, the Illustrator document window returns with an incorrect size that extends beyond the visible area of the built-in MacBook display.
    The issue only occurs on the built-in display. If Illustrator is moved to an external monitor, the problem does not occur.

    System
    Adobe Illustrator 30.6
    macOS Tahoe 26.5.2
    MacBook Pro 14-inch (M4, November 2024)

    Steps to reproduce
    Launch Illustrator.
    Open any document.
    Make sure the document window is on the built-in MacBook display.
    Enter Presentation Mode (Shift + F).
    Press Esc to exit Presentation Mode.

    Expected result
    The document window should return to exactly the same size and position it had before entering Presentation Mode.

    Actual result
    The document window returns with incorrect geometry.
    It appears as if Illustrator restores the window using an incorrect display size.
    The restored window extends beyond the visible display area.
    Clicking the macOS green zoom button temporarily resizes the window correctly to fit the display.
    However, clicking the green button again restores the previous (incorrect) window size that extends outside the screen.
    It looks like Illustrator stores an invalid "normal window" geometry after exiting Presentation Mode.

    Additional observations
    The problem occurs 100% of the time.
    Only affects the built-in MacBook display.
    Does not occur on an external monitor.
    Happens with every display scaling option ("Default", "More Space", etc.).
    Started immediately on a brand new MacBook Pro M4.
    The same workflow worked correctly on an older Intel MacBook Pro (2015).

    Troubleshooting already performed
    The following had no effect:
    Reset Illustrator preferences
    Disable Rectangle window manager
    Disable "Automatically fit below built-in camera"
    Test different display scaling options
    AppleScript window activation
    macOS window management settings
    No incorrect NSWindow Frame entries are stored in the Illustrator preferences.

    Suspected cause
    This appears to be a regression in Illustrator's window management on modern MacBook Pro models with a built-in display.
    After exiting Presentation Mode, Illustrator seems to restore the document window using incorrect display geometry (possibly related to the built-in display safe area / visible frame), while external displays work correctly.

19. Image Map URL Links Disappear in PDF Export

    Issue occurs in Illustrator 2025 (29.6) and later versions

    Description:
    URL links configured through the Attributes panel’s Image Map feature are not preserved in exported PDFs, despite enabling the “Preserve Hyperlinks” option in PDF export settings.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Create a new document
    2. Create an object (e.g., rectangle, text, etc.)
    3. Select the object and enter a URL in the Attributes panel → Image Map
    4. Create a new layer above the current layer
    5. Export as PDF with “Preserve Hyperlinks” enabled in export settings
    6. Open the exported PDF in Adobe Acrobat

    Expected Result:
    URL links should be clickable and functional in the exported PDF.

    Actual Result:
    URL links are missing/non-functional in the exported PDF.

    Root Cause:
    This bug occurs specifically when there is an additional layer positioned above the layer containing the object with the image map URL. Objects on layers without overlying layers export hyperlinks correctly.
    The issue occurs even when “Create Acrobat Layers” is unchecked.

    Workaround:
    Merge all layers into one before exporting to PDF.

    おそらく Illustrator 2025 (29.6) 以降で発生

    属性パネルのイメージマップでURLを設定し、PDFで書き出し設定で「ハイパーリンクを保持する」にチェックを入れても、PDFでURLリンクが消失してしまいます。

    再現方法
    1. 新規ドキュメント作成
    2. オブジェクトを作成
    3. 属性パネルのイメージマップでURLを入力する
    4. 新規レイヤーを上に作成（ここがバグ発生要件）
    5. PDFを書き出す。その際に「ハイパーリンクを保持する」をチェックする
    6. PDFをAcrobatで開き、URLリンクが消失していることを確認する

    発生要件
    該当オブジェクトがあるレイヤーの上に別のレイヤーがあることでバグが発生します。該当オブジェクトがあるレイヤーが一番上にあると発生しません。
    「Acrobatレイヤーを作成」をOFFにしても発生します。

    回避方法
    すべてのレイヤーを1つに統合します。

    Having a layer above the layer with hyperlinks now works as expected in Beta 30.0.0.114

20. Drop shadows in .ai files hide original object

    When drop shadows are applied to placed images and the file is saved, only the drop shadow shows up both in the preview on MacOS, as well as when importing to InDesign or Photoshop. RGB or CMYK (in Illustrator) doesn't matter, the placed object is always missing.
