When 'View using GPU' is enabled the colors end up being drastically different

intro page won't disappear
Opening Illustrator 2019, I see the intro page with my recent work. I click to open it, and it seems to "think" the document is open - I can see my un-embedded layers panel full - but the intro page won't disappear. I can't close it, the arrow next to the AI icon won't collapse it, and I can't work without quitting the app and trying to reopen again. Does the same thing whether I open from the Finder or from the Intro page. MacPro 2012 (5,1) upgraded CPU and GPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 - flashed). I realize it's…

Control bar not updated on tool selection
On Illustrator 23.0.1 running on Windows 10, the control bar does not update when a tool (say Pen, or Type or Selection, etc...) is selected. Only when the tool is click on the document would the control bar updated to show the tool options The graphics card is the Intel 520 (ver 25.20.100.6326).

Libraries now converts all my saved Spot CMYK swatches to RGB.
I can no longer bring in my previously made Spot CMYK swatches as CMYK. All my spot color swatches are converted to RGB. I can create new spot CMYK swatches that come in properly in a newly created library but anything created in the past or in a previously made library is now all RGB.

Pathfinder join groups insteads of joining path
Pathfinder join is no longer working, it will group the items but will not make 1 single shape, or compound path

Using the direct selection tool on a path, whilst holding ‘shift’ to drag causes crashes/can’t preview.
Mac Mojave 10.14.1 > Illustrator 23.0.1.
This issue does one of 3 things:
1/ the path repeatedly snaps back to the origin (Annoying).
2/ the path extends vertically top to bottom off the artboard causing ‘cannot preview’ issue. Although this is fixed with an undo and selecting view using GPU/CPU. (Really Annoying).
3/ Illustrator hangs and becomes unresponsive (basically hammers my system resources) and I have to force quit or it just crashes. (Ridiculously Annoying).

AI doesn't expand folders in File > Scripts when you have over some number of nested folders
I have 57 folders inside Scripts root folder.
They are well-organized and have several levels of hierarchy:
10 general folders containing (or not) files and folders. The deepest level is 3 folders.
AI ignores folder content at I would say folder 54 and doesn't expand the last three. Clicking won't help.
Do you have any limitations for nested folders in AI?
Why it is not documented then?
Anyway, fix it, please.

Illustrator CC 2019 23.0.01 new file issue
I have updated to Illustrator CC 2019, 23.0.1. Every time I want to create a new file, I have to log into Adobe. Why and how can I stop this?

Layer stack not retaining element color
When adding new elements the layer stack indicator does not retain the color of the previously added layer - it switches to the color of the current element. In the attached image, I am using yellow rectangles to evenly space blue rectangles. The elements in the stack were added in sequence using copy/paste keyboard shortcuts. As you can see in the attached image, the current element is colored yellow but shows up as blue in the layer stack.

Zoom differs when overprint preview is off..
When overprint preview is off magnify is from center point when overprint preview is on magnify is a area box. wth!?

Illustrator refuses to become default program when opening .svg files
Illustrator refuses to become default program when opening .svg files. I've tried "Open with another program" in the "Open with" context menu option. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've tried installing 2017. I've tried regedit. It just won't take.

Font is huge when using text
When I try to type the text tool types in HUGE font. What do I do?

Palettes do not Expand
No selected palettes on right hand side will expand to view contents. Requires quit and re-open to fix

Copy from Illustrator to Word
can't copy Text from Illustrator to word (presumably since cc 2017). The paste is always empty.

No swatches showing for any panels
When I open up a file using the open with option inside of Windows explorer, my swatches are always empty no matter what panel I'm using. Colors panel, etc. The only way it doesn't seem to have this bug is if I'm inside of Adobe Illustrator and I open a file from inside of the program. This is very inconvenient.
1 voteThis is working as expected. You have opened a png file and since a png file will not have Illustrator swatches it does not show up.
If you create a new Illustrator file will then see Illustrator swatches. Once you have created a new Illustrator file you can place the png file inside it. -
Illustrator keeps crashing when opening files or when creating a new file.
Like the title says, Illustrator crashes no matter what I do when opening files or when creating a new file. Nothing seems to fix it, a fresh install did nothing as well. Any ideas? got important projects I need to work on =_=.

Adjustments in gradient slider not applying to grouped objects
When adjusting the gradient slider for a group of objects, only some of the objects are affected by the slider. The rest of the objects don't change. Applies to both linear and radial gradients, but problem more frequent for radial.
(In screenshot, the lower-right corner shows how some of the objects follow the gradient slider adjustment, but the rest of the objects in the group don't change. Welcome screen doesn't resize to scaled display on Mac
Welcome screen shows up bigger than available screen space when the Mac's display is set to scaled. This leaves out important buttons and info. Welcome screen and document windows should resize to fit screen when opened. Already open documents should at least align to the top right corner if the display scale is changed while Illustrator has open documents. This allows access to the semaphore buttons on the window bar.

Draw Inside Object problems
I am working on an Apple Mac OS Sierra Version 10.12.6.
In Illustrator I can't use the draw inside objects, Draw Normal and Draw Behind are enabled, not Draw Inside?
