  1. プラグインの初期化中に応答しなくなります

    環境はWindows10。Illustrator (28.1)にアップデートしてから起動できないことが多くなりました。プラグインの初期化中に応答しなくなります。どのプラグインが影響を及ぼしているかは不明。初期状態から追加はしていません。またIllustratorの環境の変更もしていません。管理者として実行してもうまくいかないことが多いです。画像の画面で応答しなくなります。

  2. Clicking captions in Properties panel for Dimension tool doesn’t select corresponding values

  3. App freezes when battery is low

    The app freezes when the battery on my MacOS laptop gets low. However, it freezes in such a way that MacOS doesn't realize that the app is frozen.

    1. MacOS 14.2.1
    2. Adobe Illustrator 28.0
    3. To reproduce:

    (a) open two documents with differently named artboards

    (b) run this script

  7. Toolbar menus display only two rows at a time

    I'm using Illustrator 28.0 on Windows 11 Professional, Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. Since the latest update, the toolbar menus show only two rows with the option to scroll up/down to see the other items (two at a time), which is very inconvenient. I've closed and restarted Illustrator, but no change to the interface.

  8. Embedding linked EPS files in an over-sized artboard cause them to shrink to 10% and moves

    When using an over-sized artboard, when I embed a linked .EPS - the .eps is scaled down to 10% of the original size AND it is moved to a seemingly random location on the artboard. This only happens with .EPS files. .AI and bitmap files are fine - they stay in the correct location and correct size.

  9. Mixed stroke colors become white when changing fills using CMYK spectrum in an RGB document

    There is a way to make objects loose their stroke colors in specific conditions.
    1. Create an RGB document
    2. Create two shapes
    3. Make them have same fill color, but different stroke colors
    4. Select both
    5. In Control panel Shift+click the arrow button next to the fill chip, to call the alternate UI with sliders and spectrum instead of Swatches view
    6. In this dropdown panel’s menu pick CMYK

    Strokes become white.

    This does not happen if the color mode in this panel is left RGB or HSB.

  10. Leading (line spacing) not shown, blank, in Character panel

    OS:
    Various Mac OS versions and hardware, including M2 Mac Studio and M3 MacBook Pro. Confirmed in screenshots on:
    Mac Sonoma 14.1
    Apple M3 Pro
    36GB of RAM

    ILLUSTRATOR VERSION:
    Various versions. Confirmed on Adobe Illustrator 2024 v28.0 (used for screenshots). This happens across computers and OS and Illustrator versions.

    STEPS TAKEN:
    Opened file and clicked on text.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    Selecting text should show leading in Character Panel.

    ACTUAL RESULTS:
    Leading field is blank in Character Panel.

  11. Text is uneditable.

    I have large text files in my illustrator artboards and when I try to edit the copy, it only allows me to select a singular letter rather than being able to simply click the text and edit it.

  12. Single line text temporarily breaks to two lines when being moved or adjusted

    This issue has been discussed in the Adobe Community forums, and other people have been able to replicate it.

    This is the current 28.1 version of Illustrator as of Dec. 21st 2023.

    If I have text that is close to the edge of the text box, and I try to make kerning between two characters tighter/smaller, Illustrator temporarily shows the text breaking into two lines, as if it won't fit on one, before readjusting to one line again.     The latest version of Illustrator (28.1) will not go full screen. When I click the maximize (green plus) button in the top left of the window it does nothing. I'm running Ventura 13.4.1

  17. 3D Crashing

    I have used 3D materials on my ASUS TUF Dash FTS for over a year with no prior issues. Last night, upon updating to version 28.1, every time I even click on the 3D materials menu within the window tab, it immediately stops responding and crashes. I have Uninstalled, reinstalled, reset preferences, cleaned up creative cloud, deleted almost everything on my computer and freed up an additional 100 GB of space (I have 600GB of space total), I have gotten rid of every plugin.   18. Windows 11 enhance pointer precision

    If Windows 11 mouse setting "enhance pointer precision" is off, then Smart Guides and Snapping will not work in Adobe Illustrator v28.
    Turning it back on will "fix" the Smart Guides/Snapping, but it'd be nice if we could turn this off and still have Illustrator do what Illustrator should do.

  19. Outline Mode Breaks display when toggling in and out of it.

    I found that when I go into outline mode and then toggle the layers off of it it breaks my display a little bit. It fixes itself if I just undo the toggling and then Cmd Y to turn it off that way but it'd be nice not having to do that.

  20. Zig Zag applied to an art brush is glitchy.

    A simple art brush made of several parallel rectangles has unexpected results when the Zig Zag effect is applied with smooth curves instead of sharp angles. Changing the number of stripes and/or the number of zigs alters the errors. Some of them are kind of pretty but I think I'd rather just see this working as expected.

    I reproduced this on an M2 Mac running Illustrator 27.8.1, in both CPU and GPU rendering modes. I'm not sure what the person who originally observed this and got me investigating was using.
