  1. keyboard shortcut(s) don't work

    I have a couple keyboard shortcuts that do not work. Among them are Ctrl-Shift-O to outline fonts. and Ctrl+] and Ctrl+[ to arrange. I only have one custom shortcut Ctrl+Shift+P to place objects.

    Illustrator2022　26.2.1　pdf保存時　線幅（pt)
    MacOS Catalina 10.15.7　特色オーバープリントした線幅がpdf形式へ別名保存時　／（X-4 2008 日本）またそれ以外でも線幅が変わってしまう。
    Illustrator2020　24.3.2　では問題なく保存可能です。

  3. Offset path preview not working

    Offset path not working 1 in 20 cases. When I type a word, expand it and then try to create an offset path, I cannot turn the preview of the offset path. When this happens and I confirm the offset path, I cannot ungroup the the original text and the offset path. When I try to ungroup it, the text becomes the original again. It is very frustrating. I've tried to turn of the GPU preview, I have turned off my mac several times and I have reinstalled the Illustrator itself. Nothing seems to work. I used the offset path…

  4. Illustrator doesnt let me "Save as" or open a new file on Macbook M1

    I have a Macbook air M1 with MacOs Monterey 12.2.1, Illustrator up to date 26.2.1 and for months I had been having an issue that happens anytime, when I want to Save as a file nothing happens or when I want to open a file directly from Illustrator nothing happens as well. And when it's a new file without a name it only let me saves it to Cloud when I close the doc.   5. Illustrator 2022 GPU Preview freezes on file load/zoom/switch with RTX 2060 and RTX 3060

    Illustrator 2022 (26.2.1) freezes for up to 5 minutes when GPU Preview is enabled on file load, zoom, switch. The CPU usage rises to 99% during the freeze and a system level interruption is observed at the end of the freeze that lasts up to 10 seconds. A memory leak takes place after every freeze even after all files are closed. Only closing Illustrator entirely releases de the abnormally allocated memory. CPU Preview is not affected by this.

  6. Copy/Pasting Art Causes "Save Changes" Prompt When Closing File

    If I copy the art in one document and paste it into another document, I will get the "Save changes to the AI document before closing?" prompt when I attempt to close the document from which the art has been copied, even though I have made no changes.

    AI never used to do this to my recollection. It's a nuisance and causes doubts when I've been distracted from one task, only to come back and have to verify whether any changes have actually been made.

  7. Importing SVG with a linked PDF inside a symbol does not work

    Normally if you open an SVG file with an image xlink:href pointing to a ai/pdf file it links and shows the file where the image is. However, if that image is inside a symbol (I found some issues with <defs> too) it does not link and is missing entirely.

  8. Expanding a path with a gradient doesn't expand, just creates a group with the same path

    I want to expand a gradient applied to a path so that I have bands of colour as vectors in place of the gradient.

    I have been using this tool in this way successfully but this week there seems to be a bug: it works until it doesn't and then doesn't work at all.

    If I quit Illustrator and reopen everything it might work again, but with some paths it doesn't work at all. Please see my screenshots.

  9. Exporting to tif: "An unknown error caused the operation to fail."

    Normally rebooting solves problems like this, but not this time. Cannot save my file as a tif.

  10. Illustrator freezes windows file explorer

    Ever since the last update, occasionally Illustrator will completely freeze when I'm opening a file. Additionally, after that happens, every time I try to open an adobe product file from within file explorer, it also freezes. I have to restart the system to fix this. I can double click any other file within file explorer and it will open fine, but if I try to double click on any adobe product, it doesn't matter which one, it will completely freeze. But it all starts whenever it freezes from within illustrator.

  12. Custom guides make Illustrator unusable when viewed as dots

    I've made guides out of a large number of lines (forming an iso grid). This works fine as long as I am viewing the guides as lines, but when changing the view to Dots in settings, Illustrator get so slow that I can't even move around in the document. I am using Windows 10 version 26.1. I also have v25.4.1 installed and it is the same thing there.

    Maybe it would be less performance demanding if we could set transparancy on guides instead of using dots?

    Trying to perform an action in a folder (save .ai to .eps) crashes illustrator at random moments, never ends.
    This action in 26.1 and before releases works perfect, same folder, same files.

  14. Swatch & Tool Names don't appear when I pause/hover the cursor over them.

    MacOs Monterey 12.0.1
    Adobe Illustrator 26.2.1

    When you hover over a swatch or tool & leave the cursor there for a second, the name of the swatch/tool always showed along with keyboard shortcuts for many of the tools.

    I was searching the Pantone colors & two colors came up. Rather than just one quick step, I had to do several.

    What should happen:
    I hover the cursor over the colors for a second to see which was which. Then I pick the one I was looking for.

    What happens now:
    I hover the cursor over the colors & nothing shows…

  15. Can't open AI files until I delete settings

    Every time I try to open a file, I get the beach ball of death...spinning forever.
    I've discovered the only way to get illustrator (beta or release versions) to open a file again is to delete the settings in the Library and restart AI

  16. bounding box off centered or not aligned to object correctly

    The bounding box is off centered on my objects. I have all of the "Snap to.." options off, Preview bounds is off and I do not have any of the "align to pixel grid" options on. I created a new file and did a random rectangle and it is still off, but not as severe on the file that I am working on. I did try the "Reset bounding box" option and nothing changed. The screenshots are all objects without a stroke. I am on a Mac. I don't see this problem on the PC.

  17. Find/Replace issue

    The Find/Replace function is not replacing the string I am requesting. Maybe one or two items of many will change.

    We work with hundreds of serial numbers at a time, and the working function is
    essential to timely delivery of our services. We depend on this to change several serial prefixes at a time. Now I have to individually change each single serial number manually instead of just Finding/Replacing the prefix.
    What is going on with this product? I've never had so many glitches to deal with until this product (latest version) went to Cloud. Please, please let us go…

  18. illustratorの年間契約の期限内にも関わらず、使用できなくなっている。

    illustratorの期限内にも関わらず、使う事ができない状態が続いている。起動しても、体験版を勧められる。Creative Cloud desk topでは、illustratorの新たな購入すらできない。Adobeのアプリとファイルを消したにも関わらず、何も改善されなかった。

  19. New & Save As

    New & Save As is not working in Illustrator. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, made sure all the preferences are the same, but there still seems to be the same issue. Is there going to be an update to fix this or is there something I can do my end to fix it? Thank you.

  20. Recording Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical as an Action and running it crashes Illustrator

    Apple M1 Mac Mini
    Mac OS 12.3.1
    Illustrator 26.2.1

    Create new action
    Assign F4 as shortcut key
    Record "Flip horizontal" under Transform panel menu
    Stop recording
    Select an object
    Press F4
    Illustrator crashes
    This also happens with Flip Vertical as an action. Does this in any document.
