Round Corners prevent a narrow bar from transforming
Please open the file attached.
Make sure that you have Bounding Box on, and Scale Corners off.- Select any one of the green bars.
- Try to make it shorter or longer, using bounding box (that is grab the center marker on the a short side) — works fine.
- Select the dark red long bar.
- Try to transform in the same manner — and fail. The bar gets only longer, and can't be made shorter (or shorter back).
- Make the red bar slightly wider or select the orange bar, it is a wider copy of the red one.
- Try to make it shorter. You succeed at first.. But then it bumps into something and refuse to become any shorter.
- Make it as short as possible, release the mouse and try to make it shorter again — and get the same behavior as in step 6!
Now enable scale corners and try to shorten bars again — now it works fine
(but corners get smaller, which is not what is wanted in the first place).Please open the file attached.

特定の条件でテキストの中窓部が斜線で塗りつぶされる
再現方法
サイズA4で新規アートボードを作成
「要冷凍」というテキストオブジェクトをサイズ15ptで作成
このテキストにアピアランス「パスのオフセット：0.05mm」を適用する
アートボードの座標をX座標 100mm、Y座標 -148mmに変更
「要冷凍」テキストの座標をX座標 197mm、Y座標 -2.1mmに変更
文字の塗り潰しが添付画像のようになる（座標は全て左上起点）テキストをアウトライン化しても発生する
どのようなフォントでも発生する
同じような大きさの複合パスでも発生する
線幅では発生しない以下の環境で確認
MacOS 10.15.7
Adobe Illustrator 26.0.1
Adobe Illustrator 25.4.2
Adobe Illustrator 24.3Windows10 Pro
Adobe Illustrator 24.3(64bit)通常作成される、座標（X0,Y0）のアートボードで、版面左上端にテキストがかかっている場所で発生するようだ。普通こんな位置にテキストは置かないが、アートボードの座標がたまたまY軸方向にマイナス（上）X軸方向100mmの位置にあると、版面の真ん中で発生してしまう。文字というより複合パスで発生しているようである。
対処方法
アートボードの座標をリセットして、当該オブジェクトを適当な位置に移動して戻すと解消する。

ご報告いただきました問題につきまして、再現が確認できました。
「パスのオフセット」効果が適用されている文字の中マド部分の直線と、「Y軸 = 0」のラインが重なる場合に発生するようです。
簡単に「田」や「A」の字で再現できました。今後の開発進捗などはこちらでご報告させていただきます。

異なるバージョンで、文字の間に「ー」が出現する
macOS 10.15.4 Catalina
Illustrator 2021 v26.0.11 v25.2で、テキストボックス内に「株式会社○○○」と打つ
2 v26.0.1で開くと、「株式会社ー○○○」のように、テキストに全角ハイフンが現れました。
(書体：A-OTF 新ゴ Pro)--添付データ-----
「1.ai」→v25.2で保存したデータ「2.ai」→「1.ai」をv26.0.1で開いて保存したデータ

Export for Screens doesn't remember settings.
Export for Screen Doesn't remember my settings.
Every time I restart Illustrator, I have to set again my Export for Screen setting.I have project where I want to export few different sizes PNGs and a PDF, so it is getting a bit tedious to set those again every time I restart Illustrator. And of course it doesn't remember Export folder either.
It really amaze me how Adobe can brake some basic functionality like this.
12 votesThe latest Beta 29.5 52 should now remember the settings in the Export for Screens dialog and keeps it between sessions. Please try to test it to see if it works as expected for you and comment back.

The artboard names and numbers dissapeared in 25.4.1
I can still see the grey box in the top left corner of the artboards, but the names and numbers are gone. It started when I updated Illustrator to 25.3.1. I thought the issue would be solved in this new update but it is still there

Pressure option not showing / grayed out with Wacom tablets/pens
Wacom pressure not showing on menus illustrator 25.4.1.
But if I use the Wacom 6d brushes, it have the pressure. But again, if I turn of pressure on Wacom brushes, it goes grey again and I can't turn on again.
And if I create a brushes from scractch, pressure is greyed out, and I'm using Bir Sur, and can't go back the drivers, like I did on the old machine (Wacom drivers, but there is high Sierra, that support an old drivers) it worked on old driver. But on Big Sur I have not this option. and I already tried with 6.3.43-3 the same problem.Wacom pressure not showing on menus illustrator 25.4.1.

Anchor points not displaying with layer color
My anchor points are not displaying correctly. They are not the layer color and when objects are selected, they are a light gray and barely visible on a white or any color background. I've tried changing the layer color and that doesn't help and have checked any preferences that may have been changed, but still the same issue.
Specs:
Illustrator v 25.3.1 on an iMac 27" (late 2012, 2.9GHz Quad Core Intel core i5 with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 66oM 512 MB graphics)
Running MAC OS Catalina v 10.15.7
Please help with any fixes. I've already restarted Illustrator and my computer a few times and no change. 12 votesThis issue arises due to problems with Apple's graphic rendering pipeline on older versions of macOS and has been resolved by Apple in macOS 13 and above. We request you to update your macOS to13 and above to fix this issue.

Missing close, minimize, and maximize buttons on Mac
I use Magnet and whenever I snap the window to the full screen (4K) the maximize, minimize and close buttons all disappear.

Color Theme Picker works with problems
After the Adobe Illustrator update (don't know if it was the last one in April 2021 or the previous one) Color Theme Picker in a new version of the Recolor Artwork tool stops working. Not only in my app but in the apps of at least 3 people - different OS, different computers. It just doesn't activate then you click the icon.
The solution was found but it was very strange - you need to open Adobe Illustrator not directly on your computer but through the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. Then Color Theme Picker starts working. And continues to work if you reopen the app directly.
We've found this solution by chance, 3 people tried to do this and this fixed the issue. But maybe something can be done from the side of developers to avoid such problems in the future.

Update 25.2.2 closes all the tabs instead of one tab at a time
Just after downloading the latest update, instead of closing one tab/page at a time, Illustrator started to automatically close every single opened page. It's happening with both Command + W and via the close button at the top of the page.

Rotation of a text while Snap to Grid is on
You can't rotate a text with the Rotate tool when Snap to grid is on.
Please watch the GIF attached.
Then try to replicate.
Open the attached document.
Enable Snap to Grid.
Select text.
Grab Rotate tool.
Hold Shift (or even do not).
Try to rotate the text.
Failure?
If yes, move it a bit to the side (with snapping still on) and try again.

Live Paint bucket tool preview error
Adobe Illustrator CC 2021 (25.2.1 64-bit) on Windows 10 Home Edition.
After the Live Paint Bucket tool is selected, out of the 3 preview swatches above the pointer, the center one is always wrong / inverted. This bug is consistent when we press the left & right arrow keys on the keyboard to select a swatch. On the other hand, the Swatches panel would reflect the correct option when the Live Paint Bucket tool is in used.
When the Live Paint Bucket tool is selected, the center swatch in the 3 preview swatches should accurately reflect the color option, just like what is selected in the Swatches panel.
Despite the incorrect display of the color in the center of the 3 preview swatches, the Live Paint Bucket does color with the color option selected in the Swatches panel.

Ugly edges when using clipping mask or stacking objects with the exact same shape
Whenever stacked objects have the exact same shape, or when using a clipping mask, the colors from the objects below will be visible around the edge of the upper object. See screenshot.
This will probably not show when you print, but it does show when you rasterize a vector image. The screenshot is from a rasterized .ai image opened in Photoshop. So it's not just a preview bug in Illustrator.
And it's quite disturbing to see these ugly edges when work on your illustration.

DXF files not coming in to scale
Catalina
New Illustrator update 25.1 — DXF scaling is off, not correct.
Original size nor does it work using 100% scaling import.

Bug when Alt/Option-dragging multiple points with Direct Select
In Illustrator version 24.3, I'm getting a bug with Alt/Option-dragging multiple points using the Direct Selection tool. See screen recording attached.
Opt+dragging one point gives expected results.
Opt+dragging 2 or more points copies the entire object.

Illustrator 24.3 crashes when changing the colour of a gradient handle if the Layers palette is open and on-screen. Video above is a freshly re-installed Illustrator in a brand new user account (macOS 10.15.6).

Shape Builder ignores lines when they don’t cross a shape
Shape builder, despite the rounding bug that is embedded in its core (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/37424191-expanding-a-live-paint-object-changes-dimensions#comments) is still a very useful tool many users are very fond of.
Specifically, it can be used to bring pathfinder options to open paths — you can delete parts of lines that are covered with another shape, effectively subtracting segments from them (rather than closed shapes), by Alt+dragging over this shape (see the GIF attached).
But this nice trick won’t do the job if lines don’t cross the entire shape. That is when a line ends inside of a shape, the tool doesn’t trim it.I tried to find a reason why, and could not.
So please fix it, along with the rounding bug above.And I can’t but mention that there’s a brilliant script that uses the LivePaint tech to give us the ability to subtract/intersect shapes from/with lines without manual efforts like these, something that the Pathfinder should be able to do from the box (and we have a request for this too: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-feature-requests/suggestions/34003474-pathfinder-to-work-with-open-paths) — the script is called SplitPath, by Sergey Osokin, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_vUUFkTwxk

Save for Displays: SVG export is extremly slow on Windows
I do have a file with around 100 artboards with simple icons that need to be exported to SVG.
This process is extremly slow on Windows on a decent machine. Every SVG takes about 3sec to save. CPU usage shown AI is running only on Core #2. The same file exports in seconds on my 8 years old Mac.

Freeform Gradient fails at transformation.
Hey I like the freeform gradient tool. But after it is applied to an object, the gradient has some major issues with resizing and rotation of the object. From what I can tell the points are not truly anchored in the object, so when the shape rotates the gradient points drop off the object, causing them to delete. It's like the gradient floats above the object. Or more frustratingly, sometimes when using the line gradient within the freeform settings, a point will delete causing the lines to cross and lock up, becoming uneditable. Usually, if you are within the gradient, illustrator will give you a warning that it doesn't allow points to be deleted if it causes the lines to cross. But it allows it if it is in some kind of object transformation. If this happens, the only work around I've found is to set the object to a non-freeform gradient, and then switch back to freeform and re-lay out the whole thing.
Any way, this is super frustrating because I've spent hours and hours redoing gradients. I need to preserve the editability of them. This is on the current illustrator version 24.0.2. please fix the bug, thanks!
