1. Offset path preview not working

   Offset path not working 1 in 20 cases. When I type a word, expand it and then try to create an offset path, I cannot turn the preview of the offset path. When this happens and I confirm the offset path, I cannot ungroup the the original text and the offset path. When I try to ungroup it, the text becomes the original again. It is very frustrating. I've tried to turn of the GPU preview, I have turned off my mac several times and I have reinstalled the Illustrator itself. Nothing seems to work. I used the offset path a lot of times without crashing, now I cannot use it anymore. Thanks for your time and help.

2. When using optical type feature, since the update it displays the type as if it has no spaces?

   Running version 25.3 on illustrator.

   16.21 indesign.

   Since updating me and a few people i know who also use the software across indesign and illustrator have seen when using the optical type feature, it displays the type as if it has no spaces? Type treatment is thrown off to what is traditionally correct. Please fix this! This will have a massive knock on affect with branding agencies if rules are changing regarding such simple things.

4. Illustrator is incompatible with Windows 11 sleep mode

   My Windows 11 laptop (Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360) heats up and excessively drains battery when Illustrator is open and the laptop has been put into sleep mode. My laptop heats up even more while been plugged in and in "sleep mode" with illustrator open. These issues has forced me to use the hibernation mode for example during commuting.

5. Space + drag navigation bug after sleep on M1

   The space + drag navigation stops working in almost all Adobe programs after I wake up my M1 Macbook Pro from sleep on macOS 11.5.2. So I have to restart the system.

6. Unexpected font change

   I translate a physics book in Greek and now i translate the EPS figures content from English to Greek using Illustrator (the last updated version under Windows 10). The english text uses fonts Times Ten Std. I noticed that when i start typing the corresponding Greek text to substitute the english one, the currently selected font, changes to Myriad Pro and the appearance of the greek text is quite different. Is is possible to solve this issue?

7. Rotate polygon with 3 sides (triangle)

   (A) If I create a polygon with only 3 sides (triangle), then it has a centre that corresponds to a circle around the triangle.
   (B) If I rotate the triangle by 90° with the Rotate tool, the centre of the circumcircle is used. That is correct.

   (C) If I rotate the same triangle by 90° with the menu command "Object > Transform > Rotate", then suddenly the centre of the bounding box is used as the centre of rotation. This is wrong in my eyes. Also, this new centre point remains.

8. 中間色のあるグラデーションのあるPDFが正しく読み込めず色情報が消えてしまいます

   中間色がなければ正しく読み込めます。
   問題のPDFはインデザイン等で長方形を設定し塗りのグラデーションで中間色を設定すれば作成でき、PDFにエクスポートできます。
   編集をしたいので、"配置(Place)"以外の方法で解決したいです。

10. Custom guides make Illustrator unusable when viewed as dots

    I've made guides out of a large number of lines (forming an iso grid). This works fine as long as I am viewing the guides as lines, but when changing the view to Dots in settings, Illustrator get so slow that I can't even move around in the document. I am using Windows 10 version 26.1. I also have v25.4.1 installed and it is the same thing there.

    Maybe it would be less performance demanding if we could set transparancy on guides instead of using dots?

11. Mising Anchor Points not sure why

    I am running the latest version of Illustrator CC from my Windows 10 PC. It is a project that I have been working on, both my computer and on my Ipad. I don't know if it is that I recently added materials from Substance on the computer, used the 3D options, then went to make changes on the Ipad later on, but now opening the document on the computer again, I am not getting any anchor points when using the direct selection tool. I checked all my preferences, then I opened a file saved to my computer, and the anchor points showed up just fine

12. Can't open AI files until I delete settings

    Every time I try to open a file, I get the beach ball of death...spinning forever.
    I've discovered the only way to get illustrator (beta or release versions) to open a file again is to delete the settings in the Library and restart AI

13. Find/Replace issue

    The Find/Replace function is not replacing the string I am requesting. Maybe one or two items of many will change.
    
    We work with hundreds of serial numbers at a time, and the working function is
    essential to timely delivery of our services. We depend on this to change several serial prefixes at a time. Now I have to individually change each single serial number manually instead of just Finding/Replacing the prefix.
    What is going on with this product? I've never had so many glitches to deal with until this product (latest version) went to Cloud. Please, please let us go
    back to an earlier version/set-up. I do not have time for this.

14. Illustrator 26.0.2 freezes, then crashes

    Working on line drawings, Illustrator freezes and displays either a dark screen or many lines of the same part of the UI (like freeze-frame), then goes black and crashes.

    The good news is that the auto-recover feature works (if I don't use Windows' End Task feature)

15. [Bug] Copy and paste broken - Unable to paste text without losing formatting, unable to paste shape+text

    Hi there,

    The copy and paste function within AI seems to have broken. This started a few days ago. I don't think there was a software update. No new software/hardware changes on my end either.

    Operating system: macOSX v11.4
    MBP (13" M1, 2020)
    No clipboard enhancements/plugins/apps

    Version of AI (Desktop): 25.4.1 and 25.3.1

    Steps:
    Scenario #1:
    Copying and pasting a shape with text, within the same artboard
    Result: Shape does not get pasted, text is pasted without original formatting, at Myriad Pro 12pt, changed from Area Type into Point Type.

    Scenario #2:
    Copying and pasting text, within the same artboard
    Result: Text is pasted without original formatting, at Myriad Pro 12pt, changed from Area Type into Point Type.
    Same results using both Keyboard shortcuts, or via the Edit menu

    Repeating Scenario #1 and #2 with:

    Paste in Front

    Paste in Back

    Paste in Place

    Returns the same results: No shape pasted, text becomes unformatted point type.

    Other observations:
    Same results using Keyboard shortcuts, or via the Edit menu
    Makes no difference if shape and text are grouped or ungrouped.

    Copying and pasting a shape alone does work (somewhat), but the positioning is somewhat unexpected.

    Paste in Front/Back/Place result in the shape being pasted elsewhere on the artboard.

    Very rarely, the pasting works (fluke) like in 1:05 of the screen recording

    I have tried the following:
    - Reset and deleted preferences
    - Uninstalled and reinstalled (25.4.1)
    - Uninstalled and reinstalled rolled back version (25.3.1)

16. Crashes break CC linked assets in Recovered file.

    When Illustrator 26.2.1 on Win10 Pro 21H2 crashes, CC-linked files are always broken in the recovered file. Please allow recovery files to remember the CC assets we so carefully curate and use daily - otherwise, we need to always embed external drawings (which sucks). Thanks!

17. New & Save As

    New & Save As is not working in Illustrator. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, made sure all the preferences are the same, but there still seems to be the same issue. Is there going to be an update to fix this or is there something I can do my end to fix it? Thank you.

18. Problems with scripts and BridgeTalk using Illustrator 25.3.1 on M1 Mac

    I have a handful of scripts that have stopped working after switching from an Intel Mac mini to an M1 Mac mini. The scripts will run as expected if I use the Intel version of Illustrator on the M1 Mac mini, but they return this error when run using the M1 version of Illustrator on the same machine "TARGET COULD NOT BE LAUNCHED(59)". The current culprit seems to be BridgeTalk. Any help would be appreciated, thx!

    The workaround for this is to update to the latest build, 25.3.1, which doesn't contain Bridge related changes for Mac ARM — that's why this error is happening.

19. The colors in the closed file are persistently and almost forcibly trying to enter the palette.

    Let's say a spot color was used in a previous work and somehow copied. Later, when the file job is finished and I start another new job even though I have closed it, the copied color in the closed file persistently and almost forcibly tries to enter the palette. I tried to describe it simply in the video.

    「可能な限りファイルを復元しましたが、一部のコンテンツが欠落している可能性があります。」

    とエラーメッセージが出て、開くと１２ページほどあったアートボードが最初の１ページだけになっていました。
    ３０時間以上かけて作ったデータが謎のエラーで消えました・・・。

    自動保存されたデータはないのでしょうか？
