  2. Recovery opens Print.ai document profile instead of restoring a document after crash

    This has happened twice in the past few days, the first time Illustrator unexpectedly crashed and just now it froze and I had to force quit the program. Both times, when I reopen Illustrator it tells me it's recovered my file(s), shows the correct document name (like Untitled-3, etc) and I press OK. It then pulls up a document called Print.ai which is just a blank artboard, maybe something I made in the past and didn't use? I go to the folder on my computer where the recovered files are supposed to go, it will say the folder has been…

    Elizabeth, the team suspects that can be triggered by moving the original file to another folder while it’s still opened.

    Then, if Ai crashes, if can’t properly locate it and it leads to this exact problem.

    Does it sound like something that could have been the case?

  3. Why the the FONT i used are NOT LONGER AVALIABLE in Adobe premiere pro?

    Hi Adobe community, a few weeks ago I updated a new Adobe Premiere version and since then the font I was using has changed and I can no longer find it among those available. The fonts I need are: Algerian, BlackadderlITC-Regual, Garamond-Italic, Onyx. I try to find these fonts as if they were extensions from the official Adobe page but I couldn't find the Algerian font in this way either... Can anyone help me or give me advice? Thanks a lot!

  4. Version 2025 crashes more than usual and freezes when a pen used with tablet

    With the last update 2025 there have been crashes, more than usual, and when I use the pen and the graphic tablet, Illustrator freeze.

    • Wacom tablet configuration (model and driver version)
    • When you first noticed the issue
    • Is the issue consistently reproducible? (i.e., does it happen every time?)
    • Machine's OS and GPU specifications

    If possible, it would also be helpful if you could share a short recording of the issue, or let us know if you're available for a debug session. This will enable us to resolve the problem more promptly.

  6. Scaling envelope warped objects - makes object squishy after certain ammount of enlargement

    Wraping an object with an envelope warp and then scaling it, makes the object inside squish itself after a certain amount of enlargement.

  9. Cursor/mouse glitching/flickering when moving around artboard/objects

    Any time I go to make an edit, add an element, move an object, or move my cursor around over my content/artboard my cursor glitches and rapidly switches between tool symbols. I am still able to use illustrator and each tool performs how its supposed to however the cursor glitching is troubling when making adjustments/resizing things. I have restarted my computer and quit the application as well and nothing seems to work. I am using Illustrator 2025.

  10. Aligning doesn’t work for groups with strange empty unselectable objects inside, imported from SVGs (originally made with Illustrator)

    Several objects were made in Illustrator and exported to SVGs.
    Later they were imported back into Illustrator.
    Please take a look at both the GIF and the file atached.

    When one tries to select all the top-level groups and align them to left — it doesn’t work.
    Aligning to center and to right works, but once these get aligned to right — aligning to center stops working too.

    When exploring layers, it’s clear that these groups have something else inside besides rectangles — but only in Layers, not on canvas. These can’t be selected or changed, only rearranged, renamed, deleted.

  11. Cloud documents miss profile when downloaded

    Color profiles are missing when downloading .aic cloud documents from adobe.com/files or using the CC app, ICC profiles are missing. When opening the .aic files from the desktop application, the embedded profiles are still there.

  12. Fonts not loading Illustrator 24 v28.6

    Running Windows 10, Illustrator 24 v 28.6
    I have been trying to upload fonts today... all day on 7 fonts! I have uploaded, installed, removed, updated, rebooted, and reinstalled and rebooted again trying to get the fonts to load.
    Of the 7 fonts I needed to install, 6 have uploaded properly. The final one, Bebas, has refused to be recognized. See attached photos. It shows that it is uploaded, installed and even gives an error showing there are duplicates, but the installed font will not open in illustrator 24 v28.6
    Help please!

  14. Draw Inside doesn’t work when a clipping group is selected, requires to select its clipping mask specifically

    Draw Inside is great. Draw Inside lets you create a clipping mask in a fraction of the time it takes to create it with Object > Clipping mask > Make. But it's got some annoying issues.

    1. Draw a shape.
    2. Select it and turn on Draw Inside.
    3. Draw some shapes inside it.
    4. Exit Draw Inside, then select the clipping group with the Selection tool.
    5. Draw Inside won't work any more.
    6. Switch to the Direct Selection tool and select the clipping mask — Draw Inside works.

  15. Clipping mask doesn't work correctly

    Working is going slow even if on M1 pro MacBook.
    And many other bugs...

    I think Adobe should leave to target end user/ ai works like express etc. and focus on creative people.

  16. [ExtendScript] Cannot change `underline` value of some text ranges.

    We cannot successfully set characterAttribute.underline to false in some textRanges.

    (MacOS 15.0 Adobe Illustrator 28.7.1)

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. New document
    2. Make a text frame with contents "ab"
    3. Set the "b" to a different fontStyle, eg. "italic"
    4. Run the below script, and check the console output.

    Expected Result: all tests PASSED, meaning that the underline can be set to true and then to false successfully.

    Actual result, test B on the "b" fails.

  18. Dimension die but don’t get expanded when pasted along with the objects with Paste Remembers Layers enabled into a different document

    I have a floor plan.
    Some of the objects I have there have live dimensions attached.
    I need to copy them all from an older revision of the file into a newer one.

    1. I select objects and their dimensions together
    2. I enable Paste Remembers Layers in the Layers panel’s flyout menu
    3. I copy them
    4. I open the different document and run Edit > Paste in Place command

    It all looks fine... Objects get pasted where expected: dimensions into their own layer, other stuff to other layers.
    No shy message about objects being expanded.
    All dimensions are displayed as single entities…

  19. Global colors used in a freeform gradient don’t get added into Swatches when it’s pasted into another document until the file is reopened

    If you use global color swatches in the freeform gradient and copy to a new document, the global color doesn't get added to the swatches palette — you have to save and reopen the file for the swatch to appear.

  20. Measure tool stops working for measuring an area after we toggle to Selection tool with Cmd/Ctrl and move the object

    If we create an object and try to measure its area with the Measure tool — it gets highlighted and the area gets calculated fine, showing the result in the Info panel.
    But as soon as we hold Cmd/Ctrl to temporarily pick Selection tool, and move the object, releasing Cmd/Ctrl breaks the measuring — no area, no highlight. Reselecting doesn’t help.
