  1. Font weight lost in SVG export

    When exporting to SVG the code seems to have lost the font weight atribute. We are exporting in bold and the old epxort used to include the code font-weight="700". The new code has ommited the font weight.

  2. Zoom is broken when using the new Rotate View tool

    When using the new Rotate View Tool (v25.4.1) to rotate the view to e.g. 90°, Alt-scroll zooming doesn't zoom to the mouse pointer and the scroll bars are hyper sensitive.

  3. File overwrites without warning when exporting to PNG

    When you Export a file as a PNG, check the "Use Artboards" and select a specific artboard, Illustrator overwrites your file without warning. This is not consistent with exporting to SVG.

  4. GPU renderer fails on complex appearance stacks involving Knockout Group

    I have an appearance stack that uses a scatter brush at 0% opacity to knockout parts of the underlying fill, thanks to Knockout Group being checked on this object.

    It does not seem to work on the GPU renderer.

    Some experimentation suggests that it does work if I shift the overall object's transparency from Hard Light to Normal. I haven't tried other opacity modes.

    I have included a file with an example path, as well as screengrabs of how it renders on the CPU and GPU previews, and the data given by the "system info" button in the Performance pane…

  5. Illustrator 26.3.1 Mac - Rulers Not Working Properly

    Rulers won't be set to Artboard Rulers. Option for Global Rulers is greyed out. Sometimes a glitch appears in the upper right corner of the ruler. See images for examples.

  6. color picker - thin grey line between comparison swatches

    Today I noticed a thin grey line between the comparison color swatches on my color picker window. It puts a border between the swatches, meaning I can't directly compare their color. It's driving me nuts!

    I checked with coworkers, I'm the only one having this issue. It happens regardless of what document I'm working on. All my coworkers and myself are using the latest version of illustrator CC and are using up-to-date windows 10.

  7. Illustrator Fails to request Disk access cannot access file system i.e. cant save the files!

    I have a freshly set up m1 mac Illustrator 24.6.1 and I was stumped today when using Illustrator for the first time on it. When after working on a file I could not save it. Save, Save as, Save a Copy,"Save Before Your exit - save" all failed to do anything. I then tried opedning a file... I discovered that Illustrator had failed to get permission from Mac OS to work with files. So I was stuck with my work that needed to be saved!
    I opened system preferences => security & privacy=>privacy, and then file settings, and saw that…

  8. Align / distribute spacing applies x10 multiplier in large-canvas document

    Distribute objects doesn't work properly in a large-canvas document. In the example. I applied a spacing of 2 inches, but a x10 multiplier is automatically applied, so the spacing is actually 20 inches.

  9. GPU acceleration issue

    Adobe Illustrator have problem with GPU acceleration.

    Some of part of screen disapeared when move object.

    BUG tested on graphics card:

    GTX 1660
    RTX 3060 TI
    RTX 3080 TI
    Laptop Dell Latitude 5420 with Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

    Problem occurs on 2 situations:

    When trim view is enabled,
    When project have many object.
    Watch the attached movie.

    I think this is global problem which which affects all users.
    Tested on different AI versions.
    I think this bug occurs many, many time earlier.

  10. Guides cannot be moved or deleted

    MacOS Monterey 12.6; Illustrator CC, most recent version. Guides, wether old or newly created, are permanent and unmovable. They cannot be moved or deleted. Unlock All has no effect.

  11. Difficulty selecting and moving objects

    This just started today. I am working on a Mac and using Illustrator 2023. I've closed the program and reopened it several times, checked other files I have as well and it's driving me CRAZY. I can't seem to select an object and drag to move it. The only way to select an object is to drag and draw a rectangle around the shape and even then I can't drag to move the object

  12. When exporting an intertwined object to PDF the selection trace is preserved in the saved file

    Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400)
    Illustrator 27.0.1

    The reproduction scenario is as following:
    1. Create two overlaying rings (I used pathfinder to make the hole in the middle).
    2. Select both objects
    3. Go to Object-Intertwine-Make and select the target area
    4. Save in PDF

    Even if the Flatten transparency was selected (as suggested in https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/45826375-intertwine-bug-when-export-as-pdf-x4 ), the tiny selection trace in the intertwined area can be viewed (see the attached file)

  13. cannot rescale freedom gradient

    I have made a graphic with freedom gradient (illustrator 2022). The color will not stay the same if I try to resize the graphic.

  17. Files not replacing the original

    when doing 'Save as' with the same file name, illustrator instead adds '-01' to the file name and makes a second copy - it never used to, and isn't of any use as a feature. Please fix.

    Also this 'reporting a bug' page is pants!

  18. Plugin issues detected

    Some (not all) plugins do not work in Illustrator version 26.3.1. But they work fine in 26.2.1, also they work in all previous versions 26... and 25...
    I tried to fix it, followed the advice "Repair Visual C++ DLL (Windows)", but it did not help https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/plugin-missing-issue.html?trackingid=TG8SLGS2&mv=in-product&mv2=ai

  19. Artwork out of place in preview mode, but in outline mode is where it should be.

  20. Problème de synchronisation avec Google Drive

    Je travaille sur 2 imac, l'un chez moi, l'autre à ma société. Tout se synchronise parfaitement à Google Drive, mon cloud d'entreprise, sauf Illustrator, qui me créé des fichiers tmp ! ça marche très bien sur Photoshop par exemple. Que dois-je faire pour synchroniser mes fichiers illustrator sur mes 2 ordinateurs ?
