Linked assets in CC Libraries render "file not readable"
Having assets linked in CC Libraries renders the master AI file unreadable on another machine, despite being signed in on the same account. If I open the file on the original computer and collect it to a local folder, the file opens. This defeats the purpose of the Library.

resaving bug
When Illustrator was updated to CC2018, I began having a recurring (and very annoying) issue: whenever I try to resave an open file, Illustrator crashes. Sometimes it will also crash if I do too many other actions in a row, though I can't say for sure what triggers that (if it is something consistent). I'm running it on a 2017 iMac with High Sierra. I report this every time it happens.

Slow doing anything.
When I open the program, everything is going and moving fast, after awhile it gets really slow!
I understand that it maybe after awhile the cache gets full and the program gets to operate slower but this is not the case here.
With previous versions I didn't have to close and open the program in order for it to speed up. I would go for weeks not needing to close it. Right now in just couple of hours the program works from fast to being slow for no reason.4 votesPlease accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Illustrator can't read it's own files properly
Looses bitmap figure embedded in .ai file, reports the bitmap is missing when opening. While other software opens the file just right. Including Adobe Acrobat, Gmail preview, apple finder preview and Affinity Designer.
I made a file using Adobe illustrator, this file contains two jpg images. When I save the file and open it using illustrator on two different computers, a dialoge appears complaining the jpgs are missing and offer to replace them.
Oddly other software packages read the same file just fine, INCLUDING the allegedly missing jpg images, and in good quality.I can provide the file if you…

Unwanted characters appearing when outlining text.
When using Type > Create Outlines, there is a chance of unwanted characters appearing.
Attached is a file where the error is reproducible. Notice how an additional "d" and "g" appear with you outline the text.
This file was created using Ai CC v22.0.1 and according to forum posts ive found, this issue has existed since CS4 or possibly earlier.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Make it so we can create an action to merge swatches again like CS5!!!

Clicking on File > File Info... does nothing and sometimes locks up
When opening a file or creating a new file, nothing happens when I click on File > File Info...
The menu bar disappears and all menu options are grayed out. I can sometimes hit escape and it clears the condition, but I'm unable to open the File Info dialog. Other times, it completely locks up and I have to Force Quit.
On version Illustrator 22.0.1

Wrapping text causes font changes and misalignment of text lines
When I wrap text around a picture, the font completely changes and the text lines become offset from the actual text, making it impossible to edit text.

Outlined strokes blend differently than live strokes
When blending 2 strokes it draws the shape correctly, however, if I outline those strokes, there is an error.
Same thing occurs when outlining the strokes first or when just drawing the objects before blending.
This problem however goes away is I move the top right point of the top object down just a bit. As soon as I move it back up, at a certain point, AI draws weird shapes that is not actual "steps" in the blend.
I have tried resetting all anchor points and redrawing the objects also.
My guess is that there is an error in…

Installation Failure
When I downloaded Adobe on my Asus Computer, it will load Illustrator and then after a small time period. I will receive the message saying that there was an installation failure. It will also say something such as "Error Code P204".

Subtracted hole looks smaller than the same shape put above
I'm noticing when using the pathfinder subtraction feature I'm getting a loss in pixels in the subtracted object. In this instance I have a design that will be printed on a black shirt. I'm subtracting my top black layer from the layers below. I have attached a screen shot for reference. You can see if you compare the subtracted shape to the top black layer there is a loss of line quality. Basically, you cannot get an EXACT subtraction from one shape to another. Vector shapes look distorted
If I am working on a graphic made up of many different shapes, the individual shapes will start to appear as distorted in shape and color, especially if I start altering the pattern or moving shapes around, then the whole graphic just starts to randomly distort certain shapes. Making it really difficult to focus on creating a pattern or image.

Palettes/Panels are broken all over!
This is not just in AI. It's in PS, and ID as well. Can't make selections in pull down menus. It keeps reverting back to the default. Can't enter values in fields and use tab to move to the next field. Awfully annoying! What I want to know is what was the QC department doing before releasing this terrible package?

Artwork moves with Artboard even with layers locked.
Not sure if this has already been addressed. I just became aware of this site. I am using CC 2018, on my Mac running 10.13.3. Usually if I lock the layers I can move the artboard independently, not anymore.

Issue moving Illustrator to a different virtual desktop space

Illustrator CC 2018 v22.0.1I am using several virtual desktops (Apple calls them Spaces) and I am used to being able to move application windows to different desktops by dragging open windows to the top of the screen, which reveals the available desktops. However, when I try to drag Illustrator to a different desktop the action fails, leaving a transparent grey window over the whole screen. Logging out and back in again clears the grey window. I will try to make a video to show what happens.

Artboard glitch when undo and redo
When I use the hot keys to undo and redo (Ctr+Z ; Ctrl+Shift+Z) more than once at a time, the entire artboard freezes. When I open the file again, all of my work is gone.

Drop shadow bug on modal dialogs
Modal dialogs in Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows are rendering incorrectly for me.
