  1. Transparency mask bugs with "Gaussian Blur" effect applied inside the mask

    I've got an object with a transparency mask applied which contains a "Gaussian Blur" effect, when I want to align it with the Properties panel"(copy of the first object - pasted on second object), the effects change totally (I need to change the blur from 80 to 30 to have nearly the same effect.

  2. Using Image Trace with specific settings generates large black blob made of gigantic black circles

    Image Trace yields a black blob when adjusting the settings now. For instance, it renders a details drawing into a clump when changing the settings to have 1% for the corners slider. This bug is in AI 2026 only.

  3. Images disappear or become corrupted after drag and drop on Mac

    Illustrator 29.4
    Drag and drop from a Browser to an Artboard
    Use Cmd Shift 4 and drag a screendump to an artboard
    Drag and Drop from Photoshop a layer with transparency to an Illustrator artboard.

    Saving and opening the Illustrator file makes it disappear or gives some distorted lines.

  4. The preview is incorrect because some images are missing

    Ever since at least Illustrator version 29.8.5, I've been having preview issues with linked images. Some images are missing from my preview.

    I tested it in Illustrator 30.3, and the problem persists.

  5. Colour Guide - Set Base Colour doesn't recognise filled object, only with a stroke

    Version 30.3 Set base colour only recognises object that has a stroke colour. Will not recognise object with only a fill colour. When trying to fill an object with a colour from the colour guide, it will only colour the object with a stroke of the selected colour.

  6. リピートグリッド適用時に塗りのみのオブジェクトが透明になる

    macOS Tahoe 26.4

    概要
    塗りのみ（線なし）に色を設定した複数のオブジェクトを選択してリピートグリッドを適用すると、最左のオブジェクト以外が透明になり、正常に表示されない。

    再現手順

    1.塗りのみに色を設定したオブジェクトを2つ以上作成する
    2.すべてのオブジェクトを選択する
    3.リピートグリッドを適用する

    期待される動作
    ・すべてのオブジェクトがリピートグリッド内で正しく表示される。

    実際の動作
    ・最左のオブジェクトのみ表示され、それ以外のオブジェクトが透明になる。

    補足情報
    オブジェクトは透明に見えるが、実際には存在しており、分割・拡張または書き出しを行うと表示される
    塗りと線の両方を設定したオブジェクトが含まれる場合、バグは発生しない

    以下の操作でバグが回避される：
    ・環境設定の「GPUパフォーマンス」を無効にする
    ・「オーバープリントプレビュー」を有効にする

    Windows版でも報告があります。

  7. Em dash incorrectly rotates upright in vertical text layout

    Illustrator 2025 (29.8.1) (29.8.2) Japanese

    Em dashes are Latin characters, so in vertical text layout they should be rotated sideways like other alphanumeric characters.
    However, in v29.8.2, Em dashes are rotated upright like Japanese characters. This is clearly a bug.

    EMダッシュは欧文の文字なので、縦組みでは他の英数字を同じく横倒しになります。
    しかし、v29.8.2では、和文の文字のように正立回転してしまいます。これは明らかにバグです。

  8. Illustrator repeatedly gets stuck saving causing a forced restart and loss of document

    Illustrator repeatedly gets stuck saving almost every document that has any complexity. It will not finish it's save and requires a force quit/restart. It will also not autosave any document changes made before the error, so every time it happens it requires the file to be made from scratch. This has become so persistent in my files that I can no longer use illustrator.

    Operating system: Windows 11 Enterprise 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
    Version of Illustrator: 30.3

  9. Images and Shadows Not Rendering Correctly

    I am having issues with build 29.8.2.
    When I link photos to my artboards and add drop shadows to shapes or objects, the display is not rendering them. It will show them, but if I move or zoom out, sometimes they go away. And if I export my artboards, these issues carry over. The images dont export, there is just a grey circle where that masked image is supposed to be. And shadows from one object to the next are different, just not even there. How can I fix this?

  11. Illustrator in 30.3 version stopped reading spot colors (like Pantones) from greyscale PSD files.

    When placing a grayscale PSD file with added spot color (it can be either Pantone or custom spot), only the grayscale is readed into Illustrator, spot color is being ignored. TIF files and CMYK colorspace files work normally.

  13. Visual glitch in modified text when using the “Transform” tool

    When using the “Transform” effect on complex files, the visual display of the actual text does not update. The visual display is not up to date, whereas in the source code (CMD+Y) it is. To update the text visually, you must uncheck the “Transformation” option in the Appearance window, then check it again to force the visual update.

    As shown in the attached files, the black-and-white one shows the wired version (with the correct text), and the other shows the standard view (with the text that hasn't been updated)

  15. 文字パネルのカーニング設定のドロップダウンのチェックマークが1つ前の選択オブジェクトの設定を表示する

    Step to Reproduce
    1. ドキュメント上にエリア内文字を３点用意し、それぞれの文字間のカーニングを設定を「和文等幅」「オプティカル」「メトリクス」に設定する。
    2. 選択を解除し、「和文等幅」を設定したものを選択する。
    3. 再び選択を解除し、「オプティカル」に設定したものを選択する。
    4. 文字パネル上では「オプティカル」が表示されているが、ドロップダウンをプレスすると「和文等幅」の項目にチェックマークが付いている。
    5. 選択を変更しながらドロップダウンのチェックマークを確認すると、一つ前に選択していたものにチェックマークが付いている。

    期待する結果
    文字パネルに表示された項目と同じ項目にドロップダウンのチェックマークが付く

    実際の結果
    １つ前の状態を表示する。

    これは文字パネルのみの不具合です。プロパティパネルは正常に表示されます。

    1. Place three textFrames in the document, and set the kerning each textFrames to “和文等幅”, “Optical” and “Metrics” respectively.

  16. プリントアウトを途中でキャンセルすると操作できなくなる

    プリントアウトが完了する前（ゲージが最後まで行く前）に途中でキャンセルボタンを押すと、
    マウスやキーボードでの操作が一切効かなくなる。
    カーソルは動くし、キーボードでショートカットキーを打ち込むと効いているような感じでメニューバーが反応はするが、まったく操作できなくなる。
    アプリを終了することすらできなくなる（カーソルは動くのに）。
    なので強制終了するしかなくなる。

    なお、強制終了のウィンドウを開いてもアプリ自体に問題ないように見えるが
    実質フリーズしている状態。

    また、アプリを再起動しても、回線が混んでいるとのメッセージが出て
    ファイルを開くのも非常に時間がかかる時がある。

  18. Placing Illustrator file in InDesign

    Placing files with bleeds create in Illustrator 30.1 and 29.8.4 moves the artwork down-left without respecting the bleeds.
    Illustrator 29.5 works correctly.

  19. New fonts don't load upon installation

    Somehow, the new Adobe Illustrator updates prevent manually installed fonts from loading. These are fonts that aren't available in Adobe Fonts. So I have to install them manually. Because of this, I have to restart Illustrator so I can use the font. There's no problem when activating fonts on Adobe Fonts. Is there a workaround for this?
