1. Properties panel showing wrong properties and text attributes all the time

   Properties panel don't reflect correct properties and font kerning and size were not reflecting in the the properties box. Changing a text box affects another text and not the selected text. An yes, I have the latest version and have replaced preferences many times.

2. Command-s save reverts back a few steps

   Sometimes saving the document (command-s) causes it to revert a few steps back. WHAT? What is going on with all this weirdness!

3. Continuous drag over locks or visibility in layer palette regularly fails when using Wacom

   I have experienced this problem on both macOS and Windows when using a Wacom tablet.
   1. Toggle visibility of multiple layers by click-dragging over the eye icons.
   2. Toggle the visibility of another layer by clicking on the eye icon.
   3. Occasionally the last click will be interpreted as being part of the drag gesture and the visibilty of multiple layers will be affected.
   4. Undo doesn't see step 1 and 2 as separate. So undoing gets you back to before step 1.

   You may have to test this for a while as it doesn't happen very often. A few times a day if you're working full time, but that's still more than enough to be disruptive.

   I have experienced this problem on both macOS and Windows when using a Wacom tablet.

4. Tool Menus Errors: Tool menus click through into the tool options below them.

   Tool Menu Interface Errors:
   I have my Character Tools on Top, then my Swatches below, then my Transparency tools.
   I click to change transparency setting and the color swatches are below, thus what ever I click in the menu clicks through into the swatches and thus my color changes. Same issue when I change fonts.
   I click the multiply option in my transparency tools and that menu pops up over the swatches, thus whatever I click, clicks through the little menu and into the swatches color. See attached or you won't understand.
   Am using the latest Illustrator on Win10. See attached.

5. Linked image file cannot be deselected

   I have an infuriating problem with selected linked files that's been going on for years now.

   If a linked file becomes selected (often by dragging within it's area to select other items) it is then impossible to deselect it again. I generally work with the Path Selection Only option on but a link often gets selected anyway and then this problem occurs. It's usually necessary to close the document to get out of it.

   Occasionally, deselecting the file in the links panel used to work, but this problem has generally got worse. It sometimes results in editing an item unintentionally.

6. Font style descriptor repeated in the Font's name

   I just created and exported a new font using Glyphs app.
   While I was testing it, I realize how the style descriptor "Regular" appeared in the name as well.
   Tried to fix this with Glyphs support as long as I discovered it's this way only on Illustrator.
   No repetition on Photoshop or other non-Adobe apps.
   Problem goes away if I have 2 or more styles, but other single-styled fonts (like Impact) don't have this repetition.
   Might be a bug?

7. Uninstalling old version breaks windows preview handler for new version.

   When uninstalling an older version of illustrator, the windows preview handler for AI files gets removed such that it no longer functions for newer versions of illustrator that are already installed. The only resolution is to uninstall the newer version and reinstall which can be a pain, or manually modify the registry entries to assign the PDF handler to AI files.

8. workspace is constantly falling

   Greeting!

   1 - after launching the illustrator all the panels are out of place
   2 - Illustrator does not get stuck at startup

9. "Create Outlines" is causing text to move from its original position !

   When outlining text in artwork to send to the printer, the text moves from its original position by a fraction.
   This is catastrophic for finished art purposes.
   Dealing with misaligned print can be hard enough without the file being off from the beginning.

10. Undo in illustrator behaving funny. Please address it.

    Undo function in Illustrator 23.0.2 (64-bit) is behaving funny. It is doing one simple undo of a transformation after 2-3 steps. Sometimes the undo totally gets disabled resulting frustration! 11. Colors dull when exporting png

    OS: iOS High Sierra version 10.13.4
    AI CC up to date

    When I export my AI document and choose PNG format, the colors are dull. The colors are correct when I save using Export, legacy, PNG. I was told by adobe support twitter that they confirmed that they got the same result as me and to report the problem.

12. Start Screen/Blank Screen Persists

    Every time I close an Adobe window, AI, PS, Acrobat, it leaves a "home screen" up. This is annoying in the extreme. I can uncheck show this screen in prefs, but then it just leaves a blank black slate up there. Equally annoying. When I close a document, I expect the app to not still be there in my way. Please fix this. We pay a bunch of money for access to these great tools of the trade, give us the ability to make them work like we prefer. Thank you. I am aware this is not technically a bug, but it bugs me, and many others. Hopefully posting it here will get an audience at Adobe.

13. Envelope distort: Using arrow keys to adjust bend and H/V distortion nudges object down the page

    I am having a situation where I have created an arc envelope distortion of some text and, after committing my initial bend, decided to edit the distortion.

    The problem is that, when I go back into Envelope Distort > Edit Envelope and increase (or decrease) the bend, H or V distortion in the toolbar, for every digit I go up or down, the object itself nudges down the page by 30-40 points.

    I have changed the transformation reference point from the top to the center to the bottom of the object, but it doesn't matter. The object still nudges down the page.

    I have done this with several different pieces of text which were all arc'd using the Make With Warp menu selection
    I am on a 2017 MBP, Mojave, with 16GB RAM.
    My expectation is that the object would remain at the starting coordinates on the artboard and I would see the object bend and/or distort in place.
    What is happening is, the object is bending and distorting, but it is also nudging down the artboard at a pretty large rate of movement.

    Hope this makes sense and that it helps you fix this bug.

14. Scrolling mouse wheel over Stroke Weight Bug

    To re create the bug:

    1) Draw a path with the default path tool.
    2) Highlight the path by clicking and dragging across it.
    3) Open the Stroke Panel
    4) Using a mouse that has a scroll wheel (in my case a $20 Logitech mouse), scroll up or down while the mouse pointer is hovering over the number for the stroke weight.
    5) The weight does not change until you go 2 full weights passed the original weight.

    Sometimes the weight will change but what often happens is that the weight must go at least 2 weights before 1 weight change is achieved.

    I.e. if you draw a 2 pt path, and you want to scroll the wheel to a 3 pt path you must first go to 4 then back down to 3 pt.

    Yes , I know you can simply click the arrows up or down to change weight, but when you spend 8hrs with the path tool, this time adds up!

15. Artwork won't display on artboard, but in the layers panel, navigator etc.

    AI 23.0.1 / MacOS 10.14.2

    When an additional file is opened it sometimes shows the content of a previously opened file on the artboard.
    In the layers panel or the navigator the correct content is displayed.
    Also upon undocking the tab the correct content is displayed.
    Only workaround I found so far is restarting AI.

16. Swatches off screen

    Since the latest update, if I click the swatches icon in the top left menu, the panel appears but cuts off 2-3 colors on the left side offscreen. Please fix!

17. Cursor disapears when against text frame

    Cursor can not be seen when at the beginning of a sentence as it blends in with text box. Please make text cursor larger/wider.

19. Can't drag and drop or place png or jpeg files

    macOS Mojave Version 10.14
    MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

    Illustrator 23.0

    I try to drag and drop or place png/jpeg files and nothing happens. When selecting and pasting an image an error message says 'Not enough memory to place file.' This never happened before updating to 23.0

20. Can't create bar charts with numbers larger than 2,147,483

    When creating a chart with numbers larger than 2,147,483, the value axis will not render the number positions accurately.
