  1. Repeat-> Mirror grayed out after expanding symbols

    I used the symbol sprayer to spray image symbols. Then I expanded the objects (until I couldn't expand anymore). I selected all the object and tried to mirror them but the menu item is grayed out. All the menu items under "repeat" are grayed out, except for "options...".

  2. Illustrator changes Tiny SVG headers

    (1.) Windows 10 Enterprise 10.0.19042 and Illustrator 26.5
    (2.) open file, then "save as" > SVG Tiny 1.2
    (3.) SVG header contains: xmlns:x="&nsextend;" xmlns:i="&nsai;" xmlns:graph="&ns_graphs;"
    (4.) previous SVG Tiny 1.2 headers never contained the xmlns information in (3.)
    (5.) see uploaded files

    Please do not advise me on how to use (or not use) SVG files. It is just about the program (Illustrator) changing its settings for SVG headers.

  3. Cannot turn off Middle Eastern feature. I am not in Middle East anymore. Type direction starts from R>L, and the numbers are in Arabic

    I activated my Creative Cloud membership when I was in Dubai, UAE, and now I am in Germany. My Photoshop and Illustrator are automatically in a Middle Eastern setting. I do not speak any Arabic language so I don't need this feature. I managed to fix Photoshop, but in Illustrator, it is impossible! Even after changing my laptop region, creative cloud account's location, setting English as the default language, and re-installing the software, nothing has happened. It is becoming a nuisance, the texts start from R>L and the numbers are always in Arabic. How can I turn off this feature?

  6. Color change with the CPU/GPU overview with an external display

    Hello, I am on a 14" MacBook Pro. 2021

    On the MacBook screen the rendering change (CPU/GPU) does not change the color and everything works fine.

    However on an external screen the GPU rendering gives bad color (often distorted and duller), by activating the CPU rendering the color becomes normal on the external screen.

    In GPU rendering on the external screen for example, the dropper does not pick up the right color (its link images).

    On the other hand, once the color has been cut in CPU rendering, we can put back the GPU rendering (the colors become desaturated) but…

  7. Illustrator keeps oversaturating the color space even though modes/swatches are set correctly.

    When opening a file (usually with photography), illustrator will oversaturate all the colors regardless of color settings. Everything will be set to consistent CMYK settings but the colors show up so saturated and it's impossible to work in that space.

    リンクAIイラストのあるAIファイルをWINDOWS版イラストレーター26.5でOPENしたところリンクの拡縮が変わる

  9. Embeded icon not showing in the links panel

    Illustrator 26.0.1/ macOS Big SUR 11.6.1
    The icon for embeded images (like in illustrator 2021) in the links panel it's not showing anything, it's blank.

  10. Bleed not exporting as PNG or JPG

    I've just updated to Illustrator 26.2.1 and now I cannot export PNG or JPG files with bleeds.
    • I'm using File > Export > Export as... function.
    • There is a 9 pt bleed set up in the Document settings
    • "Use Artboards" option is selected on the Export dialog window.

    I'm on macOS 12.3.1.

  11. keyboard shortcut(s) don't work

    I have a couple keyboard shortcuts that do not work. Among them are Ctrl-Shift-O to outline fonts. and Ctrl+] and Ctrl+[ to arrange. I only have one custom shortcut Ctrl+Shift+P to place objects.

  12. Changement de couleur à la réouverture de de mon fichier

    Bonjour, depuis 2 ou 3 jours, à chaque fois que j'ouvre un fichier mes image en PNG sont comme en "négatif" ou avec un fond jaune. Pas toute les images c'est aléatoire.

  13. Coordinates label rendering problem in Overprint Preview mode

    1. Open the file and make sure Overprint Preview mode is on (thus GPU is off)
    2. Pick Direct Selection tool, grab the point and move it The gray label with current coordinates get smeared, like the GIF shows.

  14. Selection tolerance too tight on high resolution displays in Windows

    Selection tolerances are much too tight when trying to select a line rather than a shape - you have to be within 1-2 pixels to select properly, which makes it super hard to select lines.

    This can be fixed slightly by changing the UI scale, but only works if you change it to 'comically large'. It works fine on my MacBook so looks like a Windows problem.

    Smart guides don't help since smart guides don't work when snap to grid is selected for some reason.

    You can see the minute differences in the pointer position in the screenshots.

  16. Saving to Creative Cloud is Changing My Patterns

    This has to do with repeating patterns. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2021, desktop.
    Attached is a picture of 2 circles on a background (shield your eyes, it isn't pretty :-)). When I make the pattern - in this case, the circles were drawn with the blob brush - the inside of the 2 circles is empty and we can all see the background. It's a ring.     I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.1.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  17. Rearrange artboard does not work with large artboards...

    Having an issue with the Rearrange All Artboards feature when using very large art boards. See attached screenshot. Two artboards, one 6x16ft and one 3x9ft. Rearrange All Artboards using columns only seem to give an error of: "Rearrangement would take some artboards out of canvas bounds." even though the artboard could be arranged manually with the same settings.

    Unrelated: Can you PLEASE allow uploading of videos again (specifically webm). It really helps when trying to communicate bugs and feature requests).

  18. Mauvaise gestion des timeout en enregistrement ou en impression à distance

    Lorsque je télétravaille, la connexion ADSL est lente et Illustrator se crashe avant la fin d'enregistrement sur le serveur ou avant la fin de l'envoi au serveur d'impression. Toutes les fenêtres disparaissent d'un coup et c'est lorsque je relance l'appli que ça me signale qu'illustrator a quitté inopinément... WTF ?
    Pour pallier ce problème, j'enregistre ou j'imprime en local, puis je transfère sous Finder vers le serveur distant, c'est nettement moins instable.

  20. Illustrator not working correctly on large displays

    I am encountering numerous problems with Illustrator that I have not had before. I noticed that they all seem to revolve around things like selecting endpoints or handles for curves. Transforming elements seem to no longer align with the pointer when expanding. All of these are hard to pinpoint and I see numerous other people complaining about the same series of problems that I am having. I believe that it all has to do with Scaling on Large Screens.
