1. images with opacity masks not appearing in GPU preview with Trim View on

   Some images with opacity masks not appearing in GPU preview with Trim View on. They appear all the time in CPU preview, but disappear again when switch back to GPU preview. See screen shots: first is GPU preview in Trim View., second is GPU preview normal.

2. カラーコード入力で色を変えると戻れない

   Illustrator 26.2.1
   windows10 21h1

   カラーモードRGBでカラーパネルもRGBでの作業で、カラーコード(#と6桁)を打ち込んで色を変え、前の色に戻したいなとctrl+z(取り消し)を押すと挙動がおかしいです。
   まったく戻らなかったり、カラーコードを打ち込む前の操作に戻ったりします。

   コミュニティに投稿し、再現されている方がいるのでバグだと思います。

3. AIT file does not open as a new AI file when opening from One Drive.

   I updated to Adobe Illustrator V26.0.3 today. And now AIT file opens as AIT file.

   It should open as a new AI file when opening from AIT file since it is a template.

   FYI, I am using MacBook Pro M1 2020, and MacOS Motley V.12.1.

   Doen anyone getting the same problem?

   After testing, I found out that this is happening when I open an AIT file from my One Drive folder.

   When I copied AIT file on my desktop, then it opened as a new AI file as it was used be.

   For more details, I am using One Drive App (V.22.002.0103.0004) which I recently updated on Jan-26-2022.

   I updated to Adobe Illustrator V26.0.3 today. And now AIT file opens as AIT file.

   It should open as a new AI file when opening from AIT file since it is a template.

   FYI, I am using MacBook Pro M1 2020, and MacOS Motley V.12.1.

4. Mega huge trim printer marks in when using large canvas document

   AI 25.4.1 / Win10

   ACTION TAKEN:
   Saving a copy of A2 sized AI project as PDF file (print-production style).

   RESULT:
   Extremely huge printer marks in PDF (see screenshots)!
   Tried several PDF versions in saving dialogue with same failed result.

   WORK-AROUND:
   1. Verify artboard size (and PDF document size as well) several times, just to be sure if my mind works OK this morning. And it's working fine (sight of relief :-)
   2. To make printer-ready PDF, original AI file was imported to InDesign (via import, Cmd+D).
   3. Then, upscaled imported graphics to 100% (which made me guess than original AI is somehow saved in 1:10 scale).

5. Cannot turn off Middle Eastern feature. I am not in Middle East anymore. Type direction starts from R>L, and the numbers are in Arabic

   I activated my Creative Cloud membership when I was in Dubai, UAE, and now I am in Germany. My Photoshop and Illustrator are automatically in a Middle Eastern setting. I do not speak any Arabic language so I don't need this feature. I managed to fix Photoshop, but in Illustrator, it is impossible! Even after changing my laptop region, creative cloud account's location, setting English as the default language, and re-installing the software, nothing has happened. It is becoming a nuisance, the texts start from R>L and the numbers are always in Arabic. How can I turn off this feature?

6. Bulleted text became outlined without performing "Create Outlines" action

   I found my text with added new bullet function became outlined text and cannot be edited anymore through type after closing and reopening the AI file.

   I have to retype the text, thus I am guessing that the bullet function may have triggered this because the rest of my text without bullet in that same file is still editable. Please help rectify. Attached two images of the outcome.

7. Export window won't appear on screen, except for a few options, but they don't work

   When selecting Export, the box won't show, but some options do. These options showing won't work by clicking on them or via keyboard.
   Sometimes the Export box appear if I change between Desktops or screens.

8. Illustrator crash and spikes GPU (3080ti) requesting more VRAM than usual error code 6 with pid=263

   Hello,
   Details of your operating system: Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22000
   The version of Adobe Illustrator (desktop) : 26.5
   I work with high-amount data content and AI keeps crashing randomly, on a stable high end station with 12900k, 32GB of RAM and a 3080ti. 

   To reproduce the issue:

   I work with these rather heavier files up to a point
   the whole PC stalls and freezes, (inclusively desktop and any app), mouse can't be moved, no input can be taken.
   After a few seconds or 1+ minute, i hear the sound stuttering (if i was playing music during the crash)
   then windows refreshes and, restores back functionality, but AI crashes instantly

   By monitoring the activity i see there is a spike in the graphics card 3D usage and Copy meters (CTR-ALT-DEL)

   Then, while checking in the event viewer, i see there is the error code 6 with pid=26304 tid=35132

   which sends you to this link: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3553, but what raised a question to me was the sentence:  "  It can also be caused by the application sending to the graphics card a command stream that cannot be broken into small enough pieces to be processed."

   Seen this while with NVIDIA studio drivers, tried also NVIDIA Game Ready driver (516.94), same behavior.

   Using the same graphics with CPU preview, never happens.
   Same designs, on previous (Older AI versions) did not have this behavior.
   There must be some sort of programming inconsistency between the RAM bus and the preview.

   So please Adobe, check why is this spike sent to the GPU. This is not normal

9. Bounding box does not get updated when 'Use Preview Bounds' is toggled

   1. Create a circle.
   2. Apply a large Outside stroke to it
   3. Make sure you have bounding box turned on in View menu
   4. Open Preferences using menu (not a Ctrl+K hotkey, this is important)
   5. Toggle Use Preview Bounds option, commit changes

   The bounding box does not get updated. To force to to become larger/smaller (it depends on you initial state of it), you have to click/move the shape, to force it to redraw.

   However, if you call Preferences via a hotkey, Ctrl+K, the brief moment you hold Ctrl is enough to toggle the selection tool to Direct Selection, which makes Ai hide the bounding box before Preferences dialog appears. And after you close the window, Ai renders it again, but now of the proper size and the bug does not manifest.

   This is a small thing, but there are many of these, broken here and there. One grain of sand in a dish is not a big deal, but a spoon of them is significant. Maybe you should start fixing these.

   Does not happen with the latest builds of Illustrator. However, a related bug with the wrong bounding box calculation still is a problem.

10. text tool is slanted by default and cannot be fixed

    (Using MACOS Ventura 13.0 on Macbook Air with M1 Chip.) This issue is both on PS and AI 2023.. When I use the text tool, the text appears slanted and cannot be set to the correct angle. Does anyone have thoughts on this? This was also happening on PS/AI 2022. See screen recording for visual.

    Illustrator has a bug when importing letters or names that have accents or unconventional symbols in a batch import the letters never load. I send a cvs file. Load it with batch option and search MEJÍA name.

12. Font Height Options misbehave with rounded fonts

    Recently I started to notice that some of the fonts I use make wrong result when x-height or cap-height is used to set a font size.

    I clearly see that the height is of, by eye and the underlying grid, but Character palette says otherwise. I outline the font, I measure glyphs and I get smaller dimensions.

    Take a look at the file and the picture attached.

    When fonts with straight terminals are used, everything is fine. Visual dimensions match metrics precisely.

    But when a font with rounded terminals is used, like two examples at the bottom, things go weird.

    Here is my idea what is going on.
    Curved glyphs are made with the optical compensations. You can clearly see that with 'o' glyphs. Both top examples have their o-s slightly bigger than the x-height — and that is correct.

    When a font designer makes a vertical terminal rounded, they lower it below the baseline to compensate the lack of weight this rounding causes. If you compare the vertical stem of 'r' with the bottom bar of 'z', you will the that 'r' overshoots the baseline.

    So if you measure a glyph with flat top and bottom, like 'z' (here), you can see that it stands on the baseline, but the x-height is smaller that set 40mm.
    If you measure an 'r' glyph from the bottom overshoot (which is below the baseline) to the top point (notice that it differs form font to font and thus can not be used at all) the result is off again.
    But if you measure from overshoot to the flat top... now it gives 40. And this seems to be what Illustrator does.
    Instead of measuring from the baseline, it starts from an optical compensator some glyphs have and should not be used for the measurement. It takes right metrics, but starts at the wrong, overshoot zero.

13. Graph type tool crashes when selected.

    iMac Pro, Monterey, Illustrator 27.0.
    With a graph selected I click on the graph type in the contextual mouse menu (right click). Illustrator crashes.
    Same crashes on my MacBookPro latest Intel version running Ventura with Illustrator 27.0.
    BTW: give us a working graph tool, not this dinosaur from 1995.
    BTW2: Make Illustrator multi core.

15. Divis/Minus-Zeichen und Leerzeichen am Zeilenanfang ergibt falschen Wortabstand

    macOS Monterey 12.5.1 / Adobe Illustrator v26.5

    Beginnt eine Textzeile mit einem Divis/Minus/Bindestrich und einem folgenden Leerzeichen/Wortabstand, so beträgt der Abstand zum nächsten darauf folgenden Zeichen nicht wie üblich ein Viertelgeviert, sondern ein Geviert. Die darauf folgenden Wortabstände in der gleichen Textzeile verhalten sich normal. Beginnt man jedoch mit der Eingabe-/Return-Taste eine neue Zeile, so erscheint automatisch auch an diesem Zeilenanfang ein Divis mit anschließendem Geviert-Wortabstand. Dieses „Geister-Divis“ lässt sich nicht separat anwählen.

16. Sloppy GUI design

    In the most recent version of Illustrator for Mac, 24.0.0, the Save as dialogue seems to be designed by a startup company for use on Windows. :) Not a big issue, but please, Adobe, move the Format drop-down menu so that it sits in line with the Save cloud document button. This hurts my eye.

17. 和文組版の横組み文字列中の文字回転

    Illustratorの日本語組版で、横組み文字列中の1文字を回転すると、文字が上下・左右に暴れて表示されてしまいます。
    ※縦組み中ではそういった不具合は観察されません。
    添付ファイルのように検証してみましたが、その回転の際の原点あるいは挙動原理などがよくわかりません。
    例えば、添付ファイル右下のように補正してみても、同じファミリー内でウエイトを変更しただけでもその補正値は変わるようです（平均字面が関係している？）。
    和文書体は、（欧文ベールライン位置や平均字面は様々でも）基本的には正方形の仮想ボディに納められていますので、仮想ボディの中心を回転の原点としていただければ、このような補正の手間がなくなるのではないだろうか？ と考えられます。
    挙動を変更していただければ、作業者の負担も軽減されるでしょう。

    なお、このような「横組み文字列中のひと文字を回転する」という処理は、あまり日常的にすることではありませんので、既存ファイルへの影響も軽微なものであろうと考えていますが、変更していただくならば、【その変更を周知】していただくことは大切なことだと申し添えておきます。

18. Direct selection tool appears to move whole object until mouse release

    When part of an object is selected using the direct selection tool (selection tool and holding 'V' key down) the whole object appears to move to the new position until the mouse is released, at which point all the unselected points snap back to their original position. I'm assuming this is a bug and not intended?

20. Using Type Character Panel generates error message 100% of the time

    Whenever I use the Type panel in Adobe Illustrator 2022 (Beta) 26.6.564, the bug window in the attachment opens up. This happens when trying to select a font or change any font characteristics. It occurs on two different computers running Windows 11 22H2. One is an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X with 32GB DRAM-DDR4 and the other is a Xeon processor with 64GB DRAM-DDR3.
