1. Enormous issues with Illustrator 2019, OS High Sierra

   Illustrator 2019 is acting very strangely. If I undo once, it goes back several steps and I cannot bring back those steps. It removes layers and artwork without any actions. When I save, it removes several actions every time.

   If I quit the program completely and restart, it acts normally for a few steps and then starts the whole disappearing act again. I have re-installed the program a few times recently but the same thing keeps happening. It's extremely time-consuming and frustrating!

2. Illustrator 2019 23.0.4 Mouse select issues

   Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5 (18F132)

   MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
   AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2 GB
   Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
   Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

   Apple Magic Mouse

   Illustrator 2019 23.0.4

   As per the attached video, Illustrator will deselect a layer without any click from the mouse. It will do this consistently i.e. almost every selection, which makes illustrator almost impossible to use. I have disables dictation and disabled all input sound per some of suggestions on the forum. I nothing other than Chrome opened in the background. I have 3 large files open ~200MB with a few 3D objects.

   This seems to be an Illustrator 2019 issue.

3. CC Library Colours automatically adding themselves to Swatches when used

   Hey there,

   My team and I have recently noticed an error occurring when using the CC Colour Library.

   When selecting an object and then a CC registered colour, we get an error message that states: "A different colour with the same name already exists in your document. Please rename this colour to use it in this document."

   What we have noticed is that the colour automatically adds itself to swatches the first time you use it in a new document and then this error pops up every time. As such, how can we disable this function so that this doesn't occur?

   I am using a Microsoft Surface on Windows 10 Pro version 1803 and the latest Adobe CC while my colleague is using a Dell Inspiron 5379, with Windows 10 Pro version 1803 as well as the latest Adobe CC.

   This error has just started occurring and we have not changed anything about our computers....

   We expect to be able to select a colour in the Library and not have this error occur.

4. Pasting a text makes it loose its formatting

   mac OS 10.14.3 running AI 23.0.2

   The issue seems to be random and can't replicate every time.

   If I copy a group formed by a path and text sometimes, when pasting, the path is expanded (?) and the text loses its format.

   When pasting "in Front" or "in Back" sometimes works but ussually pastes in the left upper corner of the artboard.

   When pasting a text in any possible way (in Front, in Back, in Place ... ) all format is missing.

   The result is a little task consuming double or more time as the expected, delaying my performance and productivity. Plus the frustration that comes with it.

6. Illustrator CC v23.0.1 STILL not showing files that were opened by launching program

   This has been an issue that I've experienced for well over a year now and was reported to have been fixed with version 23.0.1, but I updated to that version several months ago and am still to this day experiencing this issue. If you don't already have Illustrator open and launch the program by double-clicking an AI file (or choosing "Edit in Adobe Illustrator" when right-clicking on a link in InDesign), the document in question does not appear to be open and additional attempts to open said file result in either nothing or a dialog box telling you the file is already open. The document can ONLY be viewed by choosing "Float in Window" from the Window menu, which is highly annoying and inefficient. Perhaps this bug was solved in the Windows version of Illustrator, but it is very much alive in the Mac version, as it literally just happened to me minutes ago. Please solve this extremely aggravating error!

7. Shape builder moves arrowhead

   Illustrator 22.1 on Mac 10.13.6

   When I use the Shape Builder tool to cut a path with an arrowhead, it moves the arrowhead to the other end of the path (but without changing the stroke style).

   I cannot put the arrowhead back by clicking the end anchor point of the path.

   All I can do is save, close the document and reopen it, then I can (and have to) click each of my paths end points to put all the arrowheads on the right side.

   Here's an example, with the Stroke panel visible.

9. Properties Panel won't stay open

   When I have the navigator and the properties panel on the right side on top of each other, the properties panel will close if I expand the navigator and vice versa. This has not been a problem in other versions.

10. Saving dialogue box is persistent above all other apps and windows (mac)

    I think the Illustrator save dialogue box that persists above all other windows on my mac, should not stay above all apps and windows - should stay top of stack within the illustrator environment only

11. svg import - Support of class assignments at group level

    AI 23.0.3 on Win 10
    We tried to open a svg created with another tool in AI but there are always display problems. So we compared svg code created in both tools of a filled rectangle and a line.
    AI ignores the settings of the svg because of NO support of class on group level (g class). CSS is also not always read well.

    Is there a possibility to fix this problem?

13. High Sierra (macOS 10.13) GPU rendering issues with RGB document - Intel Graphics

    Illustrator 21.1.0 has issues with GPU rendering in the latest High Sierra public betas:

    Paths will appear jagged and generally do not display correctly.

    Altering the zoom level affects these artefacts.

    Switching off GPU rendering altogether fixes the issue but this way, performance is obviously affected.

    Additional Note: Works correctly in CMYK document.

14. Working really slow

    I am working on AMD Threadripper 1950x with 16cores and 32gb DDR4 ram...
    Illustrator still working really slow and laggy.
    When I make a multiple select some objects and deselecting, its stuck on that process. Sometimes, filling all objects with single colors after deselecting. really terrible... Even I close GPU accelerator it doesn't help

15. Memory problems in all versions past 23.0.2.

    I work for a IT managed services company who's primary customers are advertising agencies on MacOS. We have had to keep everyone back at Illustrator 23.0.2 due to various memory issues. Every time a new update is released, we get a pile of calls saying Illustrator is crashing. We check and sure enough, they have upgraded in hopes that the new version is stable. It has not been and now we are up to 23.0.6 and I just got the same call. Please fix it and release something that is solid. I'm getting sick of downgrading people so they can do their jobs.

    everything is set to RGB from start to finish
    this bug also exists if done in cymk from start to finish - the eyedropper will modify the color picked
    there are no overlaying elements or any modifications done to the objects like transparency and so on

19. Drop Shadow Bug on Modal Dialog version 23.0.6 (64-bit)

    When any additional option opens in the middle of the screen, it leaves the outline of its drop shadow after the dialog box has been closed. It will only go away if I completely restart my computer.

    This is a major inconvenience and it's unreasonable to be expected to restart my computer every time I want to browse different options.

    I've attached a screenshot showing the bug - I had the different stroke profiles opened. The issue happens when ANY option dialog box opens on the screen.

20. Mirrored objects with freeform gradient applied loose their fill

    When drawing a picture of several parts, each of which is filled with freeform gradient there is a problem as soon as you select the entire object gradient disappears on one of the parts or strays
