Pantone + color book will not consistently "sort by name"
I keep the Pantone+ Solid Coated book open always, but every time I reopen the program it reverts back to "sort by kind" instead of the "sort by name" I keep choosing and is my preference.

Cannot scale item directly after placing...
When I place either a file or library item by dragging onto the artboard, I cannot scale that item (via double-click on scale tool). It does not apply the transformation. I have to repeat the transformation in order to get it to apply. This does not happen however if I place an item through the file menu. See attached video.

Illustrator 23.0.1 Selection Tool/dragging text box keeps unselecting by itself?
Keeps deselecting by itself when i try to grab objects and drag. When I press Shift and drag, it duplicates the text box and suddenly deselects itself?? anyone having this issue?

General Performance Issues and Font Issues
The Issue that I'm having see screenshots happens randomly in adobe applications like Illustrator.
I followed the instruction the adobe support gave me with the link, but there where no issue so I send you the last step, more details. Re-install fonts or Creative Cloud etc. don't solve the problem. I have this problems here and there since more than a year now.

Transform Panel in Properties – Nudge using arrow keys problem
In investigating my own question from in the user forum (https://forums.adobe.com/message/10238447#) I discovered that there is a disconnect between the Transform panel that is embedded in the properties panel and the Transform panel that you access via the Window dropdown.

Unable to save to Illustrator 8 legacy format
Illustrator 23.0.1 (64-bit)
Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64File saved as Illustrator 8 cannot be reopened by Illustrator CC 2019 or earlier versions.
Create simple file (can be blank, but this doesn't show the full problem.
Save as Illustrator 8 format.
Attempt to ope.
Error message (see screenshot) is displayed.
Click OK.

Zoom Tool – Zoom out sometimes doesn't work
I often zoom out by selecting the Zoom Tool from the toolbar, then holding down 'Option' and clicking the mouse to zoom out. This does work most of the time, but sometimes it doesn't work and I have to click another tool option then click back to Zoom for it to work properly.
Not sure if there's something specific I'm doing before to prevent it from working, or if it's just random.

eyedropper tool
I have never had to ungroup objects to get the eye dropper tool to apply selected attributes to an object. This no longer works without ungrouping objects.

I have posted a thread with all the screenshots you could ever need and the this appears to be a glitch that needs fixing...really, really bad. The solution to the issue from my thread was to post the problem here.

Recolor artwork window stops working shortly after opening (Illustrator CC2018)
I'm using Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 on macOS High Sierra (10.13.2).
I'm trying to recolor my artwork but the window accessed via Edit colors > Recolor Artwork freezes shortly after using it.Everything remains responsive except that when I click any part of the window there is no response from Illustrator. I can still move the window around but cannot exit it. The OS doesn't recognize it as a crash (no "not responding" message).
I've been working on the same document in Illustrator CC 2017, recoloring worked fine in then.
Any idea how to fix this?

Tools not working.
Some tools not working. When I click on the text tool I get something that looks like a pencil with a circle with a slash through it underneath the pencil-brush-pen-line tools. I deleted preferences and nothing helps. This is very aggravating.

Free Transform Tool hidden under Puppet Warp in toolbar
Illustrator CC 2018 22.1.0
The Free Transform Tool is no hidden under the Puppet Wrap Tool. The Free Transform Tool should be the default tool. The Puppet Transform Tool should be the one which is hidden.
In a typical day we use the Free Transform Tool quite frequently, while we almost never use the Puppet Wrap Tool. I do not speak for everyone, but only for our design studio and in my personal experience.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Keyboard doesn't register shortcuts
My Illustrator CC 2018 (last update) has a bug with the keyboard. It happens after couple of hours working on a project then the keyboard doesn't register any shortcut from the panel. The only way to fix this is to restart my Mac. Is there solution for this bug?

Illustrator pastes a wrong color between SVG /Ai
When changing a color on SVG vector group, and paste it in a ai file, the previous color swatch is still remaining. No effect depending using shortcuts or cut instead of copy

Image Trace has a problem keeping the artwork in the same location from the original.
Illustrator version 22.0.1
Image trace seems to have a problem keeping artwork in the same location from the original. Screen Shot 1 shows some text that I have rasterized to be image traced. I work at a die making facility so rasterized images need to be made into vectors for our CNC machines to "read them."
As it stands, if I image trace this text it is going to be transposed to the right and below the original. The image traced result in Screen Shot 2 is the magenta color. My original rasterized image is in black. When this specific…

Input Boxes Floating in the Workspace
Hi, since the 2019 release I have 2 floating input boxes in the workspace, I don't know where they belong but they werent there before. If I hover over the '1' it brings up a tooltip of 'Artboard Navigation'

Illustrator files explorer window bug
Hi,
Please see attached screenshot. There is bug on your file explorer window. All recent files and cc files are floating EXTREMELY to the left. There is so much real-estate space on the right. There is also no horizontal scrollbar.

Illustrator won't open any files
Since the new update I am completely unable to open any AI or PDF file in Illustrator. Nothing will open, just the rainbow ball of death forever until I have to Force Quit. I've uninstalled Illustrator and even installed earlier versions with no luck. I've 'repaired' Creative Cloud with also no luck.
I'm working on MacOS High Sierra (10.13.6), Illustrator v23
A couple times I've gotten an error message that says: "cannot open ___ file because this file does not exist."
