Overprint black does not record in action in CC2018
In CS6 it was possible to record the properties of the Edit > Edit Colors > Overprint Black command into an action.
In CC2018 (22.1) this is no longer possible and would appear to be a bug.

Problem rasterising unicode-named spot colors
If you make a spot color named not in English, assign it to a path and then try to rasterize it with "keep spot colors" option checked, the rasterized image will miss that spot color. It will be converted to process colors instead.
Renaming it to English name immediately fixes the problem. Adding a single non-English letter (I tried Russian) returns it back.
This can be easily tested with separation preview panel that hides unused spot colors. Tested on Mac with the latest Illustrator, also tried on older Illustrator CC - behaviour is the same.

Jpg Image Won't Place in Illustrator 22.1
I'm using a MacBook Pro Mid 2012. I've updated all of my apps. For some reason my JPG image won't place in Illustrator 22.1

Most of the fonts cannot show and load in the list of AI CS6
Most of the fonts cannot show and load in the list of AI CS6 suddenly today. The down arrow button (red circle in the attached picture) of the font list is not working (no response), but I can still choose other fonts by clicking up/down keyboard arrow to choose around 10 fonts (my computer installs over than hundreds fonts!).
Also, all fonts are still working in Photoshop and MS Office. Can anyone help on this? Thanks!4 votes -
Incorrect stroke-width on Import of SVG
I've converted a series of EPS graphics to SVG using Inkscape. Most of these graphics have a "transform" attribute that is used to reduce the dimensions/stroke-width of each path. On open, Illustrator handles the dimensions correctly, but does not appear to apply the stroke-width correctly. I've written a PHP script that removes the transform by manually overriding each coordinate/stroke and the SVG's seem to now work correctly. Here's the link to the library if anyone wants to try it:

Basic functions not working in Illustrator. Shapes don't have the "smart circles" to resize objects. Working in current version on CC
All of a sudden with a current Mac upgrade Illustrator has gone south. Drawing shapes now doesn't allow for smart reshaping, can't select paths, some files just won't allow ANY changes at all. Working on current CC version, 2018

Illustrator 21.1 slows down
After using Illustrator 21.1 for a period of time - usually over 20 minutes - the software becomes increasingly slow, laggy, unresponsive. Quitting and restarting Illustrator fixes this, but it then happens again. And again.
I have tried using fresh preferences: it makes no difference.
PC system is Intel i5-7600K @ 3.80GHz, 16GB RAM, nVidia GTX 1050Ti, up-to-date drivers, up-to-date Windows 10.4 votes -
Tools all become 'locked' requiring reboot (of Illustrator, not OS)
Windows 10, March 2018 Illustrator (latest).
This has happened maybe five or six times now, I think only since the latest update, apparently random occurrence (or I can't spot a common theme). Working on an unlocked layer, all drawing tools get a 'not available' symbol next to them. Can select objects in the layers panel but nowhere else. The only fix is to restart Illustrator - just closing and reopening the document (or indeed another document) does not unlock the tools.

Registered trademark glyph gets randomly swapped to its alternate in text with Gotham Medium font applied when navigating the document
Weird Glyph problem going on. Basically we have registered "R"s on our artworks, and on some occasions the glyph is applying superscript to the superscript "R" making it half the size it should be. Font is Gotham Medium using CC 2018 macOS High Sierra, Suitcase Fusion. Even weird that its changing when I scroll around the artwork to the smaller "R"? any ideas as I'm lost. This was happening also in CC 2017

Illustrator version 22.1 keeps crashing my computer.
Illustrator 22.1 (64 bit)
Windows 7Illustrator keeps glitching when used. Program will experience extreme lagging as well as leave ghost tracers as objects are dragged across the screen. Has crashed this pc twice.
Virtually unusable as it is currently running.
Problem does not happen with either Photoshop or InDesign on this pc.

Rendering Issue When Not Using Application Frame
When the Application Frame is turned off and a file is opened it does not render correctly. Instead broken sections of the screen appear. It's different each time. In order for the file to render the Application Frame must be turned on. It can then be turned back off if the user prefers not to work in the Application Frame. I have attached a screen grab of one of the files opened with the Application Frame turned off.

corrupted image shown on screen
Im working and every time I move an object around the image gets corrupted, I need to zoom in or zoom out, but its impossible, it looks like pieces are missing from the vector images. I just bought a newMac book pro, in my previous computer I did not had this issue. Please fix it its impossible to work like this

When placing a linked file, it only shows the first artboard no matter which one I select.

When corner radius is set to 0px, it reverses to 3px
I have a rectangle, with 3px rounded corners. But when I try to set it to 0px for one specific corner, it is reverted to 3px (not in the input field, only on the look of the rectangle).

Illustrator File Loading Problem
When opening a file Illustrator makes the program window really small then loads the entire file before giving the error message "Not enough room for the document to open" this is extraordinarily inefficient and very embarrassing when sitting with a client, especially seeing as though they are being charged for the time!

Undo Button Goes Back Too Many Steps
Sometimes when Undo is pressed, Illustrator goes back too many steps and multiple operations are undone at once. This happens consistently when editing content inside of clipping masks, and happens occasionally in other contexts. There is no option to redo once this bug occurs.

Screen rendering issue w/ Illustrator CC 22.1
If I have the "GPU Performance" enabled, my screen goes crazy with just glitches and artifacts everywhere. As soon as I deactivate the GPU rendering, everything is going to be normal again.
My specs :
Macbook Pro 15" mid 2014
2,8 Ghz Intel Core i7
16 Gb ram
