1. Character colors set for character/paragraph styles loaded from another document are lost when the file is saved and reopened.

   2. 再現手順
      ① ドキュメント上で段落スタイルを新規作成し，文字カラーを設定後，保存する。
      ② 別のドキュメントの段落スタイルパネル「段落スタイルの読み込み…」より，①.ai を読み込む。
      ③ 読み込んだ段落スタイルを適用したテキストオブジェクトを作成し，保存する。
      ④ ③のドキュメントを再度開く。

   3. 望む結果：　　①で設定した文字の色が，段落スタイルの「文字カラー」に設定されている。

   4. 実際の結果：　　段落スタイルの「文字カラー」は「なし」になっている。

   読み込んだスタイルを適用したテキストオブジェクトの見た目は黒くなり（カラースペースがDevice Grayになり），カラーパネルの表示は「？」になります。

   上記手順では「段落スタイル」について書いていますが，「文字スタイル」で設定した場合も，同様の不具合が発生します。

2. AI 29.1 - Missing New Help Bar

   The 29.1 update is supposed to have a new Menu Bar under Window->Help Bar but it's not there.

   Help Bar is available only in the latest Beta (starting with 29.2) and Prerelease builds so far. As soon as the team decides it’s ready to be pushed into main build, you’ll be able to get it. At the moment you can install Beta build from CCD app, or just wait.

3. Align art to pixel grid applied by default when adding vector images to CC libraries

   Steps to reproduce: Select a vector graphic in an Adobe Illustrator file and click the Add ("+") icon at the bottom of the Libraries panel. Choose "Graphic." (note: the Illustrator file containing the graphic does not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.)

   Expected result: The newly created library asset should not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.

   Actual result: The library asset has "Align art to pixel grid" applied.

   I'm forced to uncheck "Align art to pixel grid," close, and then re-open the library asset. This removes "Align art to pixel grid" about half the time.

   I'm on Mac OS 15.4, using Illustrator 29.3.1

   Steps to reproduce: Select a vector graphic in an Adobe Illustrator file and click the Add ("+") icon at the bottom of the Libraries panel. Choose "Graphic." (note: the Illustrator file containing the graphic does not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.)

4. Hitting Escape while editing a field does not cancel the value but applies it

   I don’t know why nobody reports this...
   If I input something in a field and I want to abort and return to the previous value, I hit Escape.

   Sometimes the first Escape closes the suggestions dropdown (like in browsers), and only the second one restores the previous value.

   A LOT of apps follow this rule except browsers:
   Affinity Designer, Inkscape, CorelDRAW, Blender...
   Non-design ones too: MS Office, Google Docs, various text editors... A LOT.

   Some apps keep the value entered, but don’t apply it, and put the old one back when an object get reselected — Xara does it.

   Some apps though do apply the entered value on Escape the way Ai does it — like 3DS Max.

   Why Ai doesn’t follow the major rule about the only exception when a user-entered data is aborted, and prefers to force us to Undo?

   Only Tab and Enter should be treated as committing a value. Escape should abort entering and drop the entered value, since we neve Enter it.

   I don’t know why nobody reports this...

5. The "color spectrum" in Color panel always shrinking to the minimal size and it is very annoying.

   Every time I open Adobe Illustrator, the "color spectrum" in color panel always shrinking to the minimal size. Could you please make it not change according to the size the user wants. I usually need the "color spectrum" to be full size (maximum size). That would really help us designer a lot. Thanks, Adobe team.

6. Incorrect Future Dates Displayed in Links panel on Illustrator 29.5.1 with OS Sequoia 15.4.1

   The Dates are NOT correct in the Links pallets. Not only does it say the same for the creation & modification dates. It is from the future 2040?
   Please fix this.

   I am using OS Sequoia 15.4.1_ Illustrator 29.5.1
   My time is set up to EST on my iMac 24inch M1 2021.

   I create the files... It doesn't matter what file or what link is placed. If I select any link in any file I have created over the last 4 years... They all say the exact same date — Feb 06, 2040. Files that I created in back in 2019, haven't touched since... I just opened them, clicked on the image in the links pallet & it says Feb 06, 2040? I have been dealing with this for over 4 years & i used to rely on it to prove I replaced the proof file with the correct final file & it always is the same... Feb 06, 2040.

   Feb 6th 2040 is 15 years in the future, how is that Illustrators time? I feel like I am in the Ground Hog Day movie!

7. Keyboard Increment works wrong and arrow keys move object more than they should

   I have the problem as a result of the last update to Illustrator 2025, version 29.0 (October 2024)

   The measurement set in the Preferences section, General in Keyboard Increment does not displace the configured measurement. For example, I set 0.5 mm and when moving with the arrow key to the sides it moves 0.706 mm

   Likewise, when using Shift + Arrow you must move the measurement 10 times, in my example you must move 5 mm but it moves 5,292 mm

   Please correct ERROR it is very useful and necessary, it makes me waste time in the Design

   The issue reported no longer happens in 29.0.1.

   In case a similar problem happens with you, make sure you have both Snap to Grid and Snap to Pixel disabled.

8. 3D Effects dithering in Illustrator for MacOS

   I'm noticing in Illustrator version 29.3.1 in MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1 a graphics problem and dithering of objects that have a 3D effect applied. Specifically, I'm using the 'Inflate' effect and am seeing objects sometimes as dithered or pixelated and others that are smooth and normal. I can temporarily smooth the dither if I move the object on the screen, but then other objects with the same effect can have dithers. I'm using a MacBook ProM4 with 48GB and also two 4K 32" monitors. If I move the Illustrator window to another screen, the dithering still remains on some objects unless I actually move them around. Not sure what's causing this.

9. Reflect tool should mirror path direction as well

   When Reflecting (mirroring, flipping) Paths with a non non uniform Stroke Widths, the result is not correct, since the Path direction is not reversed. (see screenshot)

10. Scale Tool center point sticking to the cursor

    When using the Scale tool, when I drag the center point with the mouse (actually it happens when using the pen), it sticks to the tip of the cursor and does not go away for a while. I lower the program window down, switch to other programs, only then it is solved. The program locks at that time.

11. BMP bitmaps are seen as RGB, lose transparency and cannot be coloured in 28.5

    Place a .BMP 1 bit file in AI 28.5. It is seen as RGB and cannot be coloured.
    PSD and TIF bitmaps work fine.

    Scaling of markers in graphs no longer works properly. Per the online documentation at https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/graphs.html:

    “The design is scaled so that the backmost rectangle in the design is the same size as the default square marker on the line or scatter graph.”

    This is how it used to work. Now it scales the markers down to fit in the default marker’s bounding box, which creates absurdly small results (screenshot attached, showing the size that should be generated per the documentation versus what actually happens). I've tried this multiple times and always get the same incorrect result.

16. Placing PDF comes up with an Unknown error

    There is a bug with Illustrator when placing certain PDF's I get "An unknown error is detected...." I have been getting this error since Adobe Illustrator 2023.
    Files will work if it's opened in Rosetta but not with the regular version. Now with 2025 the option to open in rosetta is gone.

    Using Mac OS
    Apple chip M1
    16gb Ram
    Sonoma 14.5

    Do not have any issues with this on the Intel macs.

17. They won't let me generate an MLK Jr. illustration for my MLK day design

    I run a Ryzen 5 5500U MSI laptop and my Adobe Illustrator is the latest one from 2025.

    I literally tried the most well-explained prompt so it leaves no confusion at all. But still in the middle of the process it gets terminated. Please take a look at my prompt,

    "Create a clean, minimalist, and bold 2D illustration of Martin Luther King Jr. that highlights his facial features and expression. Focus on capturing the essence of his kindness, wisdom, and leadership. The portrait should be simplified with smooth, stylized lines, emphasizing his eyes, smile, and iconic facial characteristics. Use subtle shading to create depth while maintaining a modern, graphic, and easily recognizable design. Include a color palette that aligns with MLK Day—preferably warm tones, with contrasts that give the illustration a strong, positive, and inspirational vibe. The design should be suitable for use in a social media post, so ensure it’s clear, impactful, and visually striking."

18. Pasted/embedded images are sporadically appearing or disappearing depending on scroll direction

    When opening an ai file with V29.2 on Windows 11 utilizing a RTX a2000 laptop (Firmware 553.50) embedded and linked images appear and disappear depending on scrolling direction. This renders the program completely unusable. This bug does not appear in V28.7.3

19. Illustrator gets minimized when toolbars get touched at Mac Sonoma 14.1, with application frame disabled

    By updating to MacOS 14.1, In Illustrator 2024 28.00, as soon as you touch the toolbars, they disappear. Keeping the "Application Pane" active does not give the error. Can it be solved. A thousand thanks!

    Apple has seemingly fixed the problem with their MacOS version. Please update to check if this get it resolved for you.

    Comment back if it still happens for you with MacOS 14.1.1 update installed.

20. A part of a traced image vanishes when using Image Trace

    When changing raster graphics to vector graphics, an image element (with a yellow background) was removed. It looks like Adobe Illustrator does not recognize this color. How can I solve this problem?
