Unable to export asset
I am unable to collect and export an asset as I used to in the previous version of Illustrator. Please see the attached screen shot. I select the group in the layers panel, then I click on Object > Collect For Export > As Single Asset, then I choose 600dpi or 300dpi and I get the pop up error in the attached screenshot. Previously, I was able to do this successfully without issue.

SVG export Illustrator 27.6.1 and 27.7 not created

Dans les versions 27.6.1 et 27.7 sur PC Windows 10, quand j'exporte mon fichier en utilisant Fichier>Exporter pour les écrans, je n'ai aucun fichier SVG créé. Rien.
J'ai réinstallé la version 27.5 et çà marche.

In versions 27.6.1 and 27.7 on Windows 10 PC, when I export my file using File>Export for screens, I have no SVG file created. Nothing.
I reinstalled version 27.5 and it works.

Bounding Box suddenly changes its size for rotated objects
Depending on rotation of linked file the bounding box scales extra large. No groups. Linked PSD file. Windows 10, Illustrator 25.0.1.

Bad image quality on Export Asset
If I use Export Asset, fine details in patterns get smeared and destroyed in the resulting bitmap (png). This happens regardless of whether I scale the object up, or export at super high resolution.
If I use normal Export, the detail is as expected. In fact, this happens even at very low resolutions where you naturally expect to lose detail. Regardless, Illustrator does attempt to preserve brightness and detail as best as possible given the resolution when choosing normal Export. But with Export Asset, the behavior is totally different and, honestly, unusable in most cases.

SVG export crashes
Exporting to SVG causes Illustrator 26.2.1 (64-bit) on Window 10 (21H2 19044.1645) to crash. No export is created.

some graphics missing when exporting artboard using "export as"
Hello, I am experiencing strange results during artboard export - after export to bitmap file, there is often some part of graphics missing. Latest example is this - the 1pt stroke, visible in editor, is not present on exported image. Simillar result achieved in numerous different cases, ussually some shapes or contours with white color are missing in exported image. I am includign source files, you will have the background photo link missing, but this can be replaced with any colored box with same result. 10 votesThe white outlines in the file have Overprint attribute set. White + overprint result in empty objects, please remove overprint attribute from the white objects and try export again.

Exporting assets as SVG with asset export tool is buggy
Asset export in illustrator is a very convenient tool, the only problem I found is when exporting my drawings to SVGs they get distorted, but when I take my objects one by one to a single document and fit them in an artboard and save the document as SVG the problem resolves (a big process), essentially because SVG saving settings for saving a document isn't the same when for exporting with asset export, I believe it isn't a big problem to solve and I hope for it to get fixed soon, I can reply with images to…

Crash in exporting PDF
Illustrator 24.3 64bits on Windows 10
The software crash when exporting PDF as a Export for Screens (mutliple format export)
All the formats except PDF are exported on the Outpout folder, but when generating PDF, it's crash randomly (1 success for 5 crashes)

Distorted Rotated text in an "Envelope"
Rotating text that is within an "Envelope" shape distorts the text. It shouldn't.

Export to a local folder url beyond iCloud fails to pick up the full url
When I go File > Export > Export for Screens in Illustrator 23.1.1 (and for quite a few versions now) the local URL in 'Export to:' does not seem to want to register beyond the point at which the iCloud cloud icon appears in my folders. So a folder needs to be fully local on my macbook - otherwise I have to manually look up and type in the subfolders that I want to export to.

Please fix export SVG, Adobe illustrator, AI ruins vector graphics
I used AI to create vector graphics for a game for around 3 months, until now, I moved to Affinity designer until AI fix their SVG export
In AI a problem was always present:
The SVG export.Adobe Illustrator ruins SVG graphic files:
- Gaps between shapes
- Gradient color unwanted alterations
- Layers might overlay incorrectly
- Wrong transparency percentage
(All the above only after exporting in SVG format)
(I only work using vector graphics, so the issues are all for vector graphics)

SVG export
Export Artboards as SVGs doesn't seem to work in the latest update (25.2.1). I often export svgs and pngs together from artboards and have never had a problem until this morning when using the updated app. It exports the pngs fine but doesn't export the svgs at all. I reverted my Illustrator back to 25.2 version and it works fine. I have a computer with windows 10 and have not experienced issues with this feature before.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Image Map URL Links Disappear in PDF Export
Issue occurs in Illustrator 2025 (29.6) and later versions
Description:
URL links configured through the Attributes panel’s Image Map feature are not preserved in exported PDFs, despite enabling the “Preserve Hyperlinks” option in PDF export settings.Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new document
2. Create an object (e.g., rectangle, text, etc.)
3. Select the object and enter a URL in the Attributes panel → Image Map
4. Create a new layer above the current layer
5. Export as PDF with “Preserve Hyperlinks” enabled in export settings

export dxf
When in large canvas mode, I can't export a DXF. nowhere in the "known limitations" document does it mention this. I can export other regular canvas size documents as DXFs in the same session of illustrator.

A bug compounded with rotated line gradients, arrows, and appearances
There are some conditions for reproduction.
・ Line with arrow
・ Set gradation to line color
Two or more lines created by the appearanceIt is good to change the line width or move by "deformation" to check the change of the overlapped line.
Rotate the object.
Then click on the eye icon in the appearance panel to show or hide each line. The direction of the gradation of the line not touching should change one after another.I have confirmed this phenomenon in all versions from CS6 to 2020.

hi all,
when i dragNdrop a vector group in the window "export files", illustrator add big space at the top and at the right of the vector group. On hard drive, i obtain a big picture with a lot of space.
After several tests, the window "export for files" exports correctly artboards but no files !!??
I use in this picture, deform texte with a vector behind.
i install the last version of illustrator.
i work on OSX Monterey.

SVG Export issue
When exporting an svg, the file is "empty". There're only some bytes, but it shows in the browser, when you do some drag and drop. So, now comes the problem, if I sending the file to a workmate he get only a "Not working img". I must export the file a few times, with the same options to get a working svg.
And sometimes the export delete the main file (.ai), I don't know why.

Can't Export to DWG
You used to be able to export your file as a DWG, but in the 2023 update you no longer can. Why? If you opena DWG you can still save it, but if you open a fresh document you can't export to DWG like normal. CAD and illustrator crossover is extremely common and important to have and this needs fixed ASAP.
