1. Cutting off bottom of page when printing

   Fix the problem of cutting off the bottom of the page when I print with Illustrator. I can save the document as a PDF and print it fine with preview, but Illustrator cuts off part of the bottom of the print. It has the incorrect print border. So stupid.

2. No puedo abrir un archivo pesado guardado en Cloud

   El archivo no se descarga para poder abrirlo de manera local. Es un archivo pesado, con imágenes. Un banner para imprimir de gran porte.

   Al abrirse desde los archivos de cloud en el illustrator de escritorio, el archivo queda en formato esquema (contornear) y no permite previsualizar de ninguna manera, ni modificando el GPU ni en forma CPU.

   Cree una copia sacando lienzos y archivos y tampoco logro guardar el documento de manera local. Marca error pero no explica de dónde viene ni tira ningún número.

   Por favor, necesito ayuda.

3. unchecking "use document bleed settings" box in "Save Adobe PDF" does not remove the bleed from the saved file.

   windows 11
   issue also replicated on illustrator 30.0 on a mac
   1: create new document with some amount of bleed in "document setup"
   2: save as .pdf will bring up "Save Adobe PDF" Dialog
   3: uncheck "use document bleed settings" box and save the .pdf
   4: open document saved in step 3, it still has the document bleeds that should have been removed by unchecking the "use document bleed settings" box

   the print dialog box also has the use document bleed settings check box, it works correctly when I print to a .pdf file with the "use document bleed settings" box unchecked

4. Adobe Fonts が Illustrator で認識されず、作業が継続不能になる重大不具合

   Adobe Fonts に存在し、Creative Cloud でアクティベート済みのフォントが、
   Illustrator 内で表示されず使用できません。

   具体的には「VDLロゴJr（通常・ブラック）」が、
   ・Adobe Fonts ではアクティブ
   ・Figma では使用可能
   にもかかわらず、Illustrator のフォント一覧に一切表示されません。

   以下の対処をすべて実施しましたが改善しませんでした：
   - Adobe Fonts の再アクティベート
   - Illustrator のフォントキャッシュ削除（AdobeFnt*.lst）
   - Windows の FontCache.dat 削除
   - Illustrator の環境設定リセット
   - ローカルフォントの衝突確認
   - Figma Font Helper の停止

   それでも Illustrator だけがフォントを認識しません。

   仕事で使用しており、毎月料金を支払っているにも関わらず、
   基本的な「フォントが使える」という機能が保証されていない状態です。

   至急、原因の特定と修正をお願いします。

5. Holding Shift when picking a color from a gradient in a CMYK document samples the wrong color

   Even though we can hold Shift to pick a color form an object with a gradient applied, it picks the color sampled from the screen — the RGB value.
   It means if we are in a CMYK document and picking a color from a white-to-black gradient, the picked color would NOT be a shade of black, as expected, but an atrocious converted muddy RGB value.
   This is not what it should do!

6. Document Raster Effects settings not being honored on all affected objects

   Illustrator 30.1 on MacOS 14.6.1
   Changing the Document Raster Effects settings used to affect all objects with pixel effects, at current it appears not to anymore and one has to manually force an update of the Drop Shadow effect for example.

7. Canvas not visible when opening or creating files in Adobe Illustrator

   I’m experiencing an issue where the canvas (artboard/work area) does not appear when I open an existing file or create a new document in Adobe Illustrator.

   The application itself opens normally, and the UI loads (menus, toolbars, panels), but the main canvas area where the artwork should be displayed is completely missing or blank.

   Steps to Reproduce:
   - Open Adobe Illustrator
   - Create a new file OR open an existing file
   - Illustrator loads the interface normally
   - The canvas/artboard does not appear

   Expected Result:
   The canvas/artboard should be visible and ready for editing.

   Actual Result:
   The canvas area is not displayed at all, making it impossible to view or edit any artwork.

   Additional Notes:
   The issue happens consistently when opening or creating files.
   The rest of the interface appears functional.

8. Global Edit no longer works for additional groups inside other groups

   AI 30.5 Win 11

   If I have multiple instances of a group and want to change all at once, I can use Global Edit and then isolate the group to make my changes. But now once inside isolate mode, I can no longer use additional global edits to change multiple groups inside of the main group, as once inside global edit the only option in the select menu is to exit global edit.

   So for instance I have 5 of the same group A, and these are then grouped together to make Group B. I then have 5 instances of Group B and want to change them all. So I select one, activate Global Edit, and then enter isolation mode for Group B.
   Now I want to make the same change to all 5 instances of Group A (inside Group B), previously, while in isolation mode, I could just select one of Group A and then enter and additional global edit to change all of the Group A instances. But now the option is no longer there, and in the Select menu there is only the option to exit Global Edit. Please revert this to what it was before, we don't need a command to exit global edit it will do it automatically on exiting Isolation Mode.

9. Curved paths not honouring guide styles / Guides are not dotted

   When converting artwork to guides, anything that has a curved path does not show the guide style set up in preferences. In my case I have guides set up as a dashed line with a light grey colour. What I'm seeing is a solid black line. Happens in AI 29.6.1 and the beta 29.7 88. Sample shows two shapes converted to guides but the ellipse remains as a solid black line. Using MacOS 14.7.6.

10. Illustrator 29.6.1 (Windows) crashes ~30 s after launch since Aug 17 — unhandled C++ exception (std::bad_function_call) in dunamis-ingest.dl

    Environment
    - Illustrator 29.6.1 (x64), Windows Server (EC2), 11 machines in a print-automation pipeline
    - Illustrator is driven via COM/ExtendScript (headless typesetting), hundreds of short sessions per day
    - No local changes on any machine: last Windows update Dec 2025, no reboots since Jun 25, no font/plugin/preference changes, Illustrator binary unchanged since Jul 2025

    Symptoms
    - Starting the evening of Aug 17, 2026 (KST), Illustrator began crashing on all machines simultaneously. Daily crash counts across the fleet: ~0–5 (baseline) → 34 (Aug 17) → 90 (Aug 18) → 366 in half a day (Aug 19).
    - Crashes occur regardless of document content (plain JPG/PNG/PDF inputs, different files every time), typically ~30 seconds after the Illustrator process starts (crsessionduration=30 in the Adobe crash report), i.e. right when telemetry upload kicks in — not tied to any specific operation.
    - Two visible failure modes, both consistent with the process dying mid-flight:
    - The remote procedure call failed returned to our COM automation while a script is running
    - Server execution failed (0x80080005) when the process dies during startup, before COM registration completes
    - Windows Event 1000 entries show faulting module ntdll.dll, exception 0xc0000374 (heap corruption).

    Crash signature (from Adobe Crash Reporter XML)

    An empty std::function is being invoked inside dunamis-ingest.dll's HTTP response-headers callback on a WinINet worker thread. The heap-corruption (0xc0000374) buckets appear to be the same defect surfacing differently (use of a freed callback object instead of an empty one).

    Why we believe the trigger is server-side
    - dunamis-ingest.dll 1.47.2.0 has been on these machines for a long time; the crashes started on all machines at the same time with zero local changes.
    - The endpoint hard-coded in the DLL is cc-api-data.adobe.io (verified by string extraction from the binary).
    - Workaround that stops the crashes: blocking cc-api-data.adobe.io (plus crs.cr.adobe.com / log.cr.adobe.com / crlog-crcn.adobe.com) via the hosts file → 127.0.0.1. With the connection refused immediately, the response callback never fires and the crashes stop on blocked machines while unblocked machines keep crashing.
    - Account-level usage-data opt-out is only a partial mitigation (it appears to stop auth events but not anonymous events), consistent with what was reported for Lightroom (below).

    Likely related report
    The Lightroom thread "Lightroom Desktop on macOS freezes & crashes at launch and export" documents a defect in the same GrowthSDK/Dunamis ingest client (uncontrolled retry loop against cc-api-data.adobe.io/ingest, fixed or mitigated in Lightroom 9.5). This Illustrator crash looks like another defect in the same ingest client's response handling, triggered by whatever changed on the ingest service around Aug 17.

    Ruled out
    Windows updates, WebView2 runtime updates (module not even loaded in the 30-second sessions), CCXProcess version (machines on different versions crash identically), third-party plugins/DLLs (WER module list contains only standard modules), document content (inputs are ordinary files, never the same one twice).

    1. Please check what changed on the cc-api-data.adobe.io ingest service around Aug 17, 2026 — response shape/headers appear to drive an empty-function-call in dunamis-ingest.dll 1.47.2.0's onResponseHeaders path.
    2. Please fix the client to tolerate this (null-check the callback / handle error responses), as blocking a telemetry endpoint at the hosts level shouldn't be required to keep Illustrator alive.

    I can provide the full Adobe Crash Reporter XML, WER reports, and Event Log extracts on request.

11. Overset text indicators do not show when Type on Path has overflow

    Text Overflow / Overset (+) Indicators are not showing on newer illustrator versions on Text Paths (Point Text).
    The text paths have stopped showing the indicator when clicking off of the Text on a path (point type) has text overflow.

    As a map design company this is a big issue for us, as our files have thousands of text paths. We used to be able to identify crucial overset text information using these markers however they have vanished for the most past. Some files do occasionally show them but most do not. This is recently cause us to mistakenly print a files that have text overflowing with no indication.

    • View using GPU and CPU makes no difference.
    • It happens on old / new files when opened.
    • Applies to all fonts,
    • Some larger paths still show
    • Does not differ if I toggle View > Show/Hide Text Threads

12. Order of duplicated artboards is reversed

    A big issue is that if you select several artboards at once to duplicate them and they were in order
    A
    B
    C
    they used to duplicate as
    copy of A
    copy of B
    copy of C

    Since the latest Illustrator update they mirror instead, as
    copy of C
    copy of B
    copy of A

    Makes batch duplication worthless and I now have to duplicate each one separately OR do the set and then move them around manually.

13. Stacked dimensions lagging Illustrator

    The dimension around the red outline rectangle is the LAG source... try to move anything, it takes forever. But as soon as you delete the dimensions, the lag is gone. I'm not sure what is going on here.

14. Illustrator cannot recognize my Creative Cloud account without internet, hours of work lost!!!!

    Illustrator has no internet connection and then closes all my files without giving me the option to save. I have a company Adobe Creative Cloud account, but when the internet connection goes down, Illustrator seems unable to recognize or verify that I have an active Creative Cloud account. Instead, it closes Illustrator and all my open files without giving me any option to save my work.

    This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I had been working for several hours, and I lost all of that work because Illustrator could not verify my account while offline.

    Even if an internet connection is temporarily unavailable, Illustrator should recognize that I have a valid Creative Cloud subscription and allow me to continue working or, at the very least, give me the option to save my files before closing the application.

    Losing hours of work because of a temporary internet connection issue is simply not acceptable for professional software.

15. Inaccurate stroke scaling on new objects

    When I create a new shape, the stroke scaling is clearly not accurate. I have it set to 1 pixel, however, it appears much, much larger than a stroke set to 1 px.

16. All my symbols gets displaced all the times

    Whenever I make symbols for sock label logo, these symbols get randomly gets displaced and moved to another location on the art board by itself. the positioning is completely random and no logic. It's been like this since Illustrator 2025. what is going on???
    Please see attached for example of what I mean random displacement of symbols, all the symbol object have been moved randomly to top right. Only way to fix is to break the symbols and manually move these objects back to where I intended to place. This is a must fix bug. please help!!!!

17. PDF export without color conversion converts RGB images to CMYK

    This is a bug that occurs in Illustrator 2025 (29.2.1) and later.

    When an RGB image is placed as a linked file in a CMYK document, it gets converted to CMYK upon PDF export, even if "No Color Conversion" is selected. In Illustrator 2025 (29.2.0) and earlier, the image remained in RGB.

    This bug affects only PNG and JPG files. Other formats, such as PSD, remain in RGB.

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Create a new CMYK document.
    2. Place an RGB image (PNG or JPG) as a linked file (do not embed).
    3. Export the document as a PDF with "No Color Conversion" selected.

    How to Verify That RGB Images Are Converted to CMYK in PDF

    1. Open the exported PDF in Acrobat.
    2. Go to Print Production > Output Preview.
    3. Set Preview to "Object Inspector."
    4. Click on an image in the PDF.
    5. The object information will be displayed, showing the actual color mode.

    You will see that the RGB image has been converted to CMYK, even though it should have remained in RGB.

    Issues

    Users who lack in-depth knowledge of color profiles rely on workflows where RGB images in PDFs are properly converted to CMYK at the output stage. However, with this bug, RGB images are automatically converted to CMYK during PDF export, meaning that any inappropriate color profile settings at the time of linking will carry over, making quality control at the output stage impossible.

    Additionally, this issue affects not only exported PDFs but also the embedded compatibility PDFs in AI files. When an AI file is placed as a linked document in InDesign, InDesign reads only the compatibility PDF, making it impossible to verify whether the AI file contains linked RGB images.

    Expected Behavior

    When exporting a PDF with "No Color Conversion" selected, linked RGB images should remain in RGB.

    Illustrator 2025 (29.2.1) 以降で発生するバグです。

    CMYKドキュメントにリンク配置されたRGB画像が、カラー変換なしでPDFに書き出してもCMYKに変換されてしまいます。2025 (29.2.0) まではRGBのままでした。

    このバグが発生するのは、PNGおよびJPG形式の画像のみであり、PSDなど他の形式の画像はRGBのままとなります。

    再現手順

    1. CMYKの新規ドキュメントを作成
    2. RGB画像（PNGまたはJPG）をリンク配置（埋め込まない）
    3. カラー変換なしでPDFに書き出す

    RGB画像がPDF内でCMYKに変換されていることの確認手順

    1. PDFをAcrobatで開く
    2. 印刷工程 > 出力プレビュー を開く
    3. プレビュー を「オブジェクトインスペクター」に設定
    4. PDF内の画像をクリック
    5. クリックした箇所のオブジェクト情報が表示される

    この情報にカラーモードが表示され、RGBのまま書き出したはずの画像がCMYKになっていることが確認できます。

    問題点

    カラープロファイルの知識が不足しているユーザーは適切なCMYK変換ができないため、PDF内のRGB画像を出力側で適切にCMYKへ変換するフローが存在します。しかし、このバグによりPDF書き出し時にCMYKに変換されると、リンク配置時の不適切なカラープロファイル選択がそのまま反映されてしまい、出力側での品質管理が困難になります。

    また、この問題は書き出したPDFだけでなく、aiファイルの互換PDFにも影響を及ぼします。IllustratorのaiファイルをInDesignドキュメントにリンク配置する場合、InDesignは互換PDFを読み込むため、aiファイル内にRGB画像がリンク配置されているかどうかをInDesign上で確認することができなくなります。

    期待する結果

    PDF書き出し時に「カラー変換なし」を選択した場合、リンク配置されたRGB画像はRGBのまま維持されるべきです。

    This is a bug that occurs in Illustrator 2025 (29.2.1) and later.

    When an RGB image is placed as a linked file in a CMYK document, it gets converted to CMYK upon PDF export, even if "No Color Conversion" is selected. In Illustrator 2025 (29.2.0) and earlier, the image remained in RGB.

    This bug affects only PNG and JPG files. Other formats, such as PSD, remain in RGB.

    1. Create a new CMYK document.

    As reported, the fix is now in the released 29.5.1 general build

18. ファイルのアクセス権が起動時に必ず求められる

    Mac版についてになります。
    アプリの起動を行うと、まず初めに

    「Adobe Illustrator 2026から、他のアプリからのデータへのアクセス権を求められています。」
    という確認ポップアップが、表示されるようになりました。

    Macの設定にある、「セキュリティ、プライバシー」のファイルアクセスなどに関する権限をみたところ、追加がされていませんでした。
    （なお、PremiereやPhotoshopは追加されていました）
    残念ながら、Mac上では対象アプリを追加することができないようになっており、これらの対応策が見つからない状態になりました。

    同様の現象などで回避策をお持ちでしたらご教示ください。

    Mac OS26.3
    Illustrator　30.2.1の最新版

    （26/3/14現在）

    このバージョンにアップデートしてから今回のような症状が現れた記憶になります。

19. Resizing using bounding box with Snap to Point enabled acts as if constrained to an arbitrary grid

    With Snap to Point enabled, resizing with the corner of the bounding box snaps to what seems like an arbitrary grid. Smart guides disabled. Snap to grid disabled. Snap to pixel disabled.

20. Libraries show a generic font in thumbnails instead of actual ones

    My libraries now all update to having this generic font when I upload designs with text. And online, all my previously saved designs now all have the same font rather than the fonts they were previously. When I drag them back onto an artboard, they convert back into the previous font, so it's something to do with the libraries preview, I believe.
