1. Save for Web broken in v24.2.x

   Windows 10 x64 v1909.

   In previous versions of Illustrator (up to v23.1), Save to Web would work correctly even when a file had multiple artboards. However in v 24x; the Save for Web is adding additional pixels around the image even when the artboard selected does not have additional space.

   I have attached two screengrabs of the same file, one using AI2019 (correct)_ and the other using AI2020. In both cases the identical artboard is selected and same settings applied.

   Further, if the 'crop to artboard' option is checked, then an additional line of transparent pixels appears in the outputted PNG which is not there in the original artwork. Again two example screengrabs are attached to demonstrate this, along with the PNG files generated from the different Illustrator versions.

3. Opening a PDF Bug - Not visible until selecting workspace

   I frequently open a PDF file in AI. Since updating to V24 (I run macOS Catalina v10.15.5 at the time of report, 6/15/20), if there are no files currently open, the artboard(s) will not be visible upon opening. I found a workaround, but it's still an inconvenience. To fix the issue, I select another workspace (which makes the file visible), and then return to my preferred workspace. However, the saved windows for that workspace are not visible until I zoom in on an artboard. After that, everything functions as normal and as expected, but the issue occurs every time I open a PDF with nothing else open.

4. Illustrator suddenly changed from RGB to CMYK

   Windows 10, Illustrator 2020

   1. Working on a digital comic and suddenly colour has been changed
      from RGB to CMYK, which means I cannot copy and paste the colours
      I was repeatedly using anymore.

   2. Black colour has been automatically replaced by a dark greenish black;
      upon further inspection, it can be seen that it is not completely black. It feels odd at plain sight. I have manually selected each line which has changed colour, but it keeps going back to that dark greenish black.

5. SelectiveUnlock.aip error - Adobe Illustrator CC version 24.1.2, OS Windows 10 Home Edition Build 1909

   The File New/Open screen does not work.
   When clicking File > New opens a pop-up screen with title %CCXFNFTDIALOG_NAME with nothing inside.

   Can not create NEW file.

6. Transform effect vanished from Appearance Panel. Multiple times

   After using Distort & Transform/Transform from the Appearance Panel, I noticed that this effect was missing from the list of effects that I'd used. As you can see in the attached image, Transform is not in the list. The long shadow on this text is created using that effect and it is still live, but there's no way to edit it since it is not showing up in the Appearance Panel. I started over and created it once more and once again, it wasn't in the panel. I tried a 3rd time and it worked as expected.

7. Illustrator 24.2.3 crashes at exit, cannot see contents once 2019 file is opened, preview displays

   Illustrator 24.2.3, cannot open a file for editing that worked fine in earlier version of Illustrator, probably CC 2019, to make a change. A preview is displayed before opening. Fortunately CS5 can open it, otherwise I would have lost a customer. After closing 24.2.3, it crashes about 50% of the time on any file I have modified. The CS5 versions of files being posted were produced by using CS5 to open the CC 2019 versions, although it complained that they were newer and might not have valid text attributes, and saving to CS5 format. The eps and TIF are used by the tray card. The 2up has the tray card positioned for printing on a special stock. This is a bug, not a feature! All files being worked on are local to my Windows 10, Version 1909 PC running Illustrator.

9. Saving error Adobe Illustrator 2020 [24.0.1]

   When saving an existing ai document that I have made an alt to illustrator keeps giving me a save error.

   Illustrator tried, but could not save the file 'file name' Click "Learn more" to try alternate options for saving a file.

   If I then use the 'save as' command and save over the top of the existing ai it will save. Illustrator leaves a .tmp file in the same folder as my ai. I may work on the file a few more time re-saving using the 'save' command with no issue and then randomly I will save and we go through the same issue all over again.

   This happens multiple time throughout the day on any ai file I'm working on.

   .tmp files just keep piling up until I delete them.

   Could this be a compatibility issue if I am still using MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 and Adobe Illustrator 2020 [24.0.1]

10. duet for iPad pen stroke and pressure not working in illustrator (it does in photoshop)

    using iPad and "duet" to provide pen stroke and pressure (using wacom drivers on the mac/adobe side). This DOES work in photoshop so the connection is working but it does NOT work in illustrator.

11. program freezes on layer reorganizing and moving shapes 24.1.3

    When using computer's trackpad or drawing tablet I have encountered problems that render the program unresponsive.

    As I re-order layers in the layers panel and I when move simple shapes or groups of shapes across the artboard, the action is not performed. When hovering the cursor anywhere in the interface I see a circle with a strike through it, program is essentially frozen. I have been able to use the escape key to get function back but other times I've been compelled to force quit the program

12. pdf cannot be displayed

    Hi, Since update Illustrator 2020, when I save ai to pdf file, it cannot be displayed the thumbnail, and even use Acrobat open still can't see it. Please see attached.

13. Cannot see gradient annotator when several objects are selected

    Hi, in the latest version of Illustrator (2020), I can't see the gradient annotator when I select several objects at the same time. With a single object selected the annotator looks correctly, but when selecting two or more objects it is no longer displayed.
    In previous versions, the gradient annotator is shown when selecting several objects, which I find very useful for copying the properties of the gradient from one object to another.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

14. White color text is showing as black

    I just updated my CC and now my text will not change to white, it remains black. The text will change to any other color, just not white.

15. New Update's shape tool take up an extraordinary amount of power.

    The shape builder tool takes 4 minutes to finish deleting shapes (when hit alt to get the minus sign and subtract shapes from a selection). It takes up so much power from my CPU that my task manager says illustrator is taking up 100%. Deleting the inner parts of a font (D, R, P) took 2 hours last night when making a logo. I restarted my computer 8 times, started a new illustrator file 4 times (thinking it was a corrupt file) and eventually just waited out the extrodinary processing times to get my project done. It's really ridiculous.

16. V24.2.3 Artboard Lockup

    When using the artboard selection tool, selecting multiple items may trigger Illustrator to lock up and become unresponsive. The application doesn't report as non-responsive but the UI becomes unclickable.

17. Creates "ai2483293123FileName.ai" files

    I'm using 24.1.3 of Illustrator and I have come across these files popping up on my network drive. Are these now the "temp" files? Once these files are created, I can not delete them because Finder tells me it is currently being in use.

18. Point Transformation after Undo

    In Illustrator version 2.1 (macOS Catalina 10.15.3) as well as whatever the most previous version of Illustrator was I have been experience an issue where after undoing a point movement of a shape with the direct selection point, further transformations to the point can nor be made. If I attempt to move the point (or any points on the shape in question) they snap back to their previous positions. The only solution I have found is to cut the object and baste it again, where after further point transformations will work. This is a tedious work around in work with lots of layered objects and occurs frequently throughout the day in different files.

19. Leaders in Tab

    I was using leader with tabs to draw lines. They do not flush evenly to the right in Illustrator 2020 (24.2.3). This feature works in Illustrator 2019 (23.1.1). On a Mac (10.14.6)

20. Cannot open Illustrator after updating to version 24.1.2. Windows 7 reports an error "missing VCRUNTIME140_1.dll". (The 24.1.1 is ok)
