PDF vector artwork exported from Fresco to desktop corrupts when opened with Illustrator
I created a vector artwork in Adobe Fresco (app is up to date) on the iPad Pro (OS 17.5.1) then exported it as PDF to my Macbook Pro (Sonoma 14.6.1). The file looks fine until I open it in Illustrator for Desktop (Version 28.6) where one of the vector layers corrupts (best word to describe it) upon opening the PDF in Illustrator.
Troubleshoot attempt 1: I tried exporting and re-exporting and opening and re-opening SO MANY TIMES. The same layer corrupted every time.

1 voteThis is a limitation of Ai. The truncated path has 32000 points exactly, and the missing part of it just being cut open.
Even though a PDF can have more points, Ai won’t be able to read it. This is not a new bug, it’s just this particular path. You can workaround by splitting it into four chunks.
Please also upvote this request to lift the limitation.

Illustrator 25.3 Crop
Export File creates uncontrolled artboards and more then one - usually only one is selectable the other is not. Did this with jpg, pngs. Save as pdf works fine but export versions do not.
One artboard frame is correct but the second unselectable version is smaller but taller and localized around one object in the image.
They both carry over with the file to other programs.
Files opened in photoshop display properly but png has extra clear space.1 vote -
Objects missing when exporting JPEG
Objects/vectors on my art board are missing when exporting file to jpeg. Issue started happening in new Ai 2020 update.

Arrow Head and Font Drop Down in Floating Panels display bug on Multiple displays
The Arrow Head drop down menu in the Stroke panel pops up in weird places as shown in the attached video.
Similarly, the fonts drop-down menu in the Character panel seems to be showing much larger than it normally would.
This only happens when I am using multiple screens.

Ever try to work on a building drawing that's flopped 90° to the right because your overprice copy of Adobe Illustrator doesn't have the option to SIMPLY rotate the view?

Unwanted bounding box
I'm working on a
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
Processor 2,2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MBTwo bounding boxes appear in my .ai file they wouldn't have bothered me if it weren't for the fact that they distort the design on export.

Data merge with variables shared by multiple objects should not create errors
Assigning multiple objects to the same variable would be particularly useful for language translations, in which the same value should appear in different objects of the same document.
While the UI allows to link several objects to the same variable, Illustrator behaves badly in these cases:
When a new dataset is created, Illustrator will assign different values to the same variable and where the value shows up is unpredictable.
The exported variable library is invalid and cannot be imported again.

Selection tool not working with Text
Intermittently, the selection tool isn't working with my text. For area type, the bounding box will disappear (and "show bounding box" is enabled). When it re-appears, often there is a lag between when I move the text and when the bounding box follows it. If there is no lag, it is not uncommon for the bounding box not to move at all.

Nothing works under the file tab
When I click on any of the options under the file tab absolutely nothing happens. Cant save, place, export, create new, etc. It seems like everything else is working perfectly. I can hear my computer whirl when I click on things like it’s working and registering, but when I click on anything under file I hear nothing, like it’s not registering that I’m trying to save. I really need to export these files for a project by next week so this is urgent!!

I create a new file and the screen starts to pixelize, If I move the mouse the pixels move too and they don't disappear

Giant splash screen ads in paid for, professional subscription is a BUG
I am sick to death of the huge, intrusive, non-cancelable, and occasionally completely incapacitating ads popping up in a very expensive, professional, enterprise-level paid-for subscription. This is so unbelievably unprofessional and unconscionable in a paid subscription.
I have been working for 10+ hours today in Illustrator and Photoshop, and have had several pop ups. But this one was the last straw. It nearly covered the whole screen. I can't close it and tell it never ask me this again, oh no, I can only request that it defer the annoying shill until the middle of another, future, equally tense deadline…

Static screen
Can you fix the new update of adobe illistrator? I can't use it. Every time I try to create a new file it shows the lines of something similar to a static screen and I'm not able to use it for anything. I really need to be able to use this program for college.

Dual Screen - Prompt window display on the wrong screen - Mac

'Audodesk' instead of 'Autodesk' when exporting DWG
I’ve noticed that when exporting as Autodesk RealDWG, the pop-up progress bar actually says Audodesk. Spelling Mistake.

Bitmap (1-Bit) Image downsampled to 300 dpi in PDF Export - スリープさせるとレインボーカーソル化
MacBookPro OS 13.6.4
Illustrator 29.3.1Illustratorを起動したまま、画面を（物理的に）閉じると、次画面を開いた時にIllustratorがレインボーカーソルのまま動かなくなります。毎回強制終了して再度起動しています。
ブラウザなどの他のアプリケーションはレインボーカーソル化しません。Illustratorを28にしていた頃は起こらなかったです。

Fix NO handles on shapes
Shapes created with shape tools do NOT have corner rotate options available anymore.
I'm really starting to look into Corel Draw or really any other program just so I don't loose more work DAYS trying to figure out the latest friggin bug release - not seeing a lot of improvements just bugs.
How about you just leave things alone for a while and focus on quality and reliability.
That'd be nice.Adobe is making itself pointless and overly expensive with lost productivity.

Panel "Dropdowns" appear on wrong monitor
If the Panels are on a second/external monitor on Mac OS, Illustrator renders the dropdown information (ie font size, stroke width, arrowhead type, rotation, Transparency type) not on the second monitor, but back on the Main monitor/iMac.
The example shown has the latest build, with panels on the right monitor and artboard on the iMac screen. Trying to select from the Stroke Width drop down menu puts the options on the iMac screen instead of within the Stroke Panel.
Photoshop doesn't do this, so it's not an Apple thing. Illustrator team, please fix this!

Freeze screen
Sometimes the text boxes freeze and seem like I can't edit but actually are editable, is just I can't see exactly what I am doing.
The other thing, and is a major issue, is that the outline mode is not visible, apparently, I can activate it but there nothing changes on my screen besides the option that shows that the mode is active.2 votesPlease accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Objects vanish when a PDF is exported
The PDF document is not being saved correctly. I have tried saving it in different ways, changing the elements and it still isn't working. I believe it is a problem in Acrobat itself perhaps?
