1. 縦組みのアキ量設定が水平比率の影響を受ける

   ver.22以降（確認できた範囲）
   macOS 10.13〜11.6.7（確認できた範囲）

   縦組みのテキストに対して「アキを挿入（右・下）」を設定した上で水平比率を操作するとその比率に応じてアキ量が変化する。

   1. テキストツールにて縦組みテキストを入力する。
   2. 文字パネルにて「アキを挿入（右・下）」を設定する。 3.. 当該テキストに対して水平比率を設定する。
   3. 文字の縦幅は変わらないがアキ量が水平比率に比例して増減する。

   期待する結果
   縦組みのアキ量は水平比率の影響を受けない。

   実際の結果
   縦組みのアキ量設が水平比率の値によって変化する。

   回避手段
   アキ量設定を使わずにトラッキングによる調整を行う。

   これは単純なバグです。縦組み時に水平比率を調整しても文字の天地は変化しません。しかし、アキ量（上・左）、アキを挿入（右・下）ともに水平比率の値の影響を受けます。横組みと縦組みを同様に処理していると考えられます。

2. Area Type text stretching when transformed with another shape

   When I transform an Area Type text box using the handles, it resizes the Area and the type fits according to paragraph settings - which is what I want from Area Type — (first part of video).

   But if I transform at the same time as another shape, selecting both at the same time - the type resizes like point type, stretching and scaling with the box, which is not how area type should behave - (second part of video).

   So I can't transform an Area Type text box at the same time, for instance, as a holding shape that I want to align it with - I have to do them separately which is very slow and inefficient.

   As a graphic designer I literally NEVER want to stretch type in this manner, and If I did i would choose point type for this reason - (last part of video shows this box is indeed Area Type).

   When I transform an Area Type text box using the handles, it resizes the Area and the type fits according to paragraph settings - which is what I want from Area Type — (first part of video).

3. テキストの半角スペースに点が現れる

   Ver 25.3.1 windows

   25.3.1にバージョンアップすると突然テキストの半角スペースにピリオドが現れました。

   1.　テキストに半角スペースを打つ
   2.　テキストに線幅を入れて縁取りにする
   3.　その線の線端を丸型線端にする

   するとスペース部分に点が現れます。テキストをアウトライン化すると消えますが、そのままPDF書き出しすると残ります。

5. Straight line extension does not work if the adjacent point has a handle

   I have a shape.
   Some points of it have handles, some are not.
   For example, two points adjacent to the the bottom-most one: the right one has no handles, the left one has one.
   This, for some user-unfriendly reasons, matters and dictates Ai to draw an extension or not to.
   If I grab bottom point and try to move it along the right segment’s virtual extension, AI draws it for me and I can snap the point to it — 'because the adjacent point has no handles'.
   If I move this same point along the basically same straight left segment, Ai shows me nothing — 'because the next point to the left has a handle'!
   This is a difference that is purely made up and has no valid reason to exist.

   I try the right-center point then. As you can guess, Ai draws a guide if you move the point along right segment’s extension, and ignores the left one — 'because it has a handle'.

   All of these segments are straight! There should be no difference between them, but it exists now.

   I have a shape.

6. Moving artboard with locked layers prompt warning

   In 24.1, every time I move the artboard with my layers locked, I get the warning: "Any hidden or locked objects in the artboard will not be moved." EVERY TIME!
   There is no "Don't show me this again" option and I am constantly adjusting artboards to fit customer's artwork.

8. After redo is different from before undo

   The reproduction procedure is as follows.
   1. Create a point text containing two or more paragraphs
   2. Change the transformation reference point to a position other than the default position
   3. Transform it with the scaling tool

   At this point, remember the state of the artboard.

   Undo (command + Z) once.
   Then redo (command + shift + Z).
   It should be different from before undo.

   I feel very threatened because I often do this by hand.

9. Bounding Box resetting automatically if a compound path is included in a selection — ruins workflow

   Normally in Illustrator, the bounding box is locked to the orientation of an object until you manually reset the bounding box. I am experiencing a bug in Adobe CC 23.0.3 where the bounding box of an object, or group of objects in this case, resets immediately after a rotation. This prevents me from executing the standard task of rotating an object, then scaling it horizontally using the bounding box to create the correct perspective (see video).

   The reason I'm confident in reporting this as a bug is because I have never experienced this before and have been using Illustrator since CS3. Additionally, if this was the expected behavior, there would be no need for the "reset bounding box" menu function.

   I've done my due diligence by looking through the forums, and this was last reported six years ago, so seems like a fresh bug. In that old post, one user suggested re-setting the bounding box of the grouped object prior to rotation, but that also did not solve my problem.

   I'm running Illustrator on an 2017 iMac running Mojave 10.14.4

10. Center points are not visible

    Guide objects have lost their center points. I have "Show Center" turned on in the Attributes panel and "Show Edges" turn on, and still, the Center-Points are not visible on object guides.

    Object guides used to all have center-points showing all the time, as long as the guides were turned on. Now the center-points are missing.

11. Variable Font not working properly

    Hello, I am a type designer and am working on a variable script font. The variable font file work fine everywhere else except in Adobe products.

    It appears the sidebearings aren't adjusting with the changes in width. Very odd. You can see whats happening in the first file. The second is on the Axis Praxis website.

    I've spoken with Glyphs App developers and they said it's a glitch with Illustrator, so I wanted to bring it to your attention.

12. Panels don't open with Application Frame turned off

    On MacOS, when Application Frame is turned off, and Window panels (ex: Layers, Artboards, Swatches, etc.) are condensed, the Window panels will not appear when clicked on. They only work if Application Frame is on.

13. Workspaces not working, all panels hidden on start up.

    Just update to CC23.0.1 and when I start up Illustrator all the panels are turned off and my workspace won't change or reset.

    I can turn on the panels manually, but it resets when I close Illustrator. The reset, new workspace and manage workspaces options are greyed out. If I try to change the workspace nothing happens.

    Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit
    Intel i7-7700
    16GB Ram
    GeForce GTX 750 Ti

14. Ctrl+arrows in Package dialogue

    Ctrl+arrows stop at underscores in Save-Export-other 'system' dialogues, but don't in native dialogues. We heavy rely on underscores in our naming convention, so please make it work as it should be.

15. Mesh objects don't get selected when only edge is marqueed

    All paths in AI get selected when you draw a marque over their edge (with no points inside selection). Segment got selected. It is fine.

    But mesh objects are immune to edge marqueing, because there is no 'segment' thing for a mesh. WHY? Why don't you make the same thing as it's done for paths? Just select seam between mesh points and allow to move both points adjacent when seam is 'selected'.

    I put this into Bugs, because I consider this a bug rather than request. Like 'Selecting segments in mesh is broken all these years since introduction and everybody just silent about it'.

    P.S. Thank you for quietly fixing unenlargeable markers for mesh objects, I appreciate it a lot

16. Gradient angle got reset to zero, when using Color Picker

    1. Create path
    2. Apply gradient
    3. Change gradient angle
    4. Select gradient stop
    5. Double-click Fill in toolbox to open Color picker
    6. Choose any OTHER color
    7. Hit OK

    Angle got reset to 0 (almost always)

17. Freeze on First File Opened if it has Missing Fonts

    Illustrator CC version 22.1
    OS: Windows 10 Pro, version 1803

    1) Launch Illustrator
    2) Open Ai file
    3) If the first file I open after launching Ai has missing fonts the program freezes before it populates the missing fonts dialogue box. I have to force quit the application from task manager and relaunch.

    Any subsequent files that are opened after the first file do not have this issue regardless of missing fonts. I am currently working around this issue by opening a file that I know has no missing fonts first before I'm able to open any files that may have missing fonts.

    Illustrator CC version 22.1

18. Pathfinder resets the transformation of a gradient

    I have an ellipse with radial fill and I want it to be partially cropped by rectangle.
    I select both rectangle with no fill, intersecting my circle, and apply Divide from Pathfinder.
    I expect middle part to have gradient, positioned as uncut circle, but it becomes clear.
    If i swap order of these objects, middle part has gradient, but AI resets it's position.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

20. iMac 5k 2017 w/ Radeon Pro 580 - Illustrator very slow on GPU preview

    Illustrator version 22.01
    macOS 10.12.6
    iMac 5k 2017 w/ i5 3,8Ghz - 16Gb RAM - 2TB Fusion - Radeon Pro 580
    All the file (also a very little file) is slow on movement, on move object and run with shot and NOT fluid. Slow on select object or shape or everything on file.
    The same file opened on a "slow and old" MacMini with the same configuration and the same macOS is not slow and the movement is very fluid.
    Switching to CPU cause the same things, everything is very slow. Also switching to Print Preview is slow.
