1. Windows Maximize only takes a 1/4th of the screen

   Whenever I full-screen Illustrator flashes to fill the entire window then only fills the top left 1/4th of the screen.

2. Variable width profile is off screen

   I don't understand why but this bug is visible not only in illustrator but also in Premier.
   
   My issue is that many of the scroll, drop down tools or options appear in random areas of my work area. Most specific is my Variable width profile - instead of dropping down, it appears on the lower end of my illustratror window. I have multiple monitors and on one (IMAC 27") the full drop-down appears on the lower end of the work area. On my LG 34" inch, it appears partially off-screen, none the less off my work area. I have adjusted and readjusted my resolution, so I don't believe that is the issue. I would like to know how I can reset those dropdown menus to actually dropdown. Other than checking my screen's resolution, I welcome any suggestions. Thank you

3. Screen rendering issue w/ Illustrator CC 22.1

   If I have the "GPU Performance" enabled, my screen goes crazy with just glitches and artifacts everywhere. As soon as I deactivate the GPU rendering, everything is going to be normal again.

   My specs :
   Macbook Pro 15" mid 2014
   2,8 Ghz Intel Core i7
   16 Gb ram
   mac OS 10.11.6
   NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB

   I use a dual monitor setup (laptop + an external 23" 1080p monitor). The issue described above only occurs on my 23" (non retina) monitor. I found a temporary trick: I have to drag the affected window on my laptop screen (where everything is fine, no glitches here) and then drag it back again to my 23" screen. 4. metadata is stripped when saved as PNG

   When exporting a PNG the metadata is not preserved. We use the metadata to find a graphic for future requests. I have Adobe Illustrator 2022. My operating system is Windows 10.

5. Symbol not following the artwork to move when moving, after update

   I’m writing to report a bug I’ve encountered in Adobe Illustrator since updating to version 29.7.

   When working on CAD artwork that includes symbols, I’ve noticed that when I try to move a symbol, the symbol artwork doesn't follow the intended movement. Instead, it either stays in place or shifts to an unexpected position. This issue did not occur in previous versions and is significantly affecting my workflow.

   Could you please look into this and advise if there is a fix or workaround available? I’d be happy to provide a sample file or screen recording if needed.

6. Artboard Navigation control at bottom of screen v 23.0.2 (newest update)

   Artboard Navigation control at bottom of screen shows up in the middle of the the screen when I use my larger screen. When I drag the window to my small screen and then back to the large screen, the artboard navigation control is back at the bottom. If I open a new file, the navigation control is back in the middle of the screen. This is version 23.0.2 (dowloaded and installed 3/6/19)

7. Blend Tool Doesn't Really Work w/Text

   Simple rotation of text using the blend tool results in screwed up vectors, and it really sucks. Please fix it.

   i have been unable to save my files properly since yesterday when i worked on a project thats has images, first i got a messages on illustrator that auto save wont work because the file im working on is large then when i tried to export my project for screen, instead of saving just as png, it saved as png.tmp$$ and just add to rename before i can get my file and also when i saved my files it keep saving as a temp file since then, have to rename the files saved and include .ai to get the file, really stressful, i reset my preference and closed my illustrator for long time, open it later and created a new file and saved and still got a temp file saved. you can check the attached files to see how the files where saved. need a quick fix, thank you

9. X- Y-coordinates are not aligning

   When attempting to align two existing points by typing in an exact measurement for x- y-coordinates, they do not align on screen. When the measurements typed in are the exact same, they are NOT aligning on the screen. This is making it quite difficult to refine shapes.

10. persistent selection and precision issues...and Adobe doesn't seem to give a f*ck

    I used to love Illustrator, now, I HATE it. Since the switch to CC, it's been problematic and buggy and nothing ever seems to get fixed. In fact, the entire program has gotten worse over time and it's obvious that Adobe doesn't give a **** about their customers.

    The overall lack of precision and the issues with the selection tools are driving me insane. I have to repeat movements numerous times and/or have to zoom in hundreds or thousands of percent to do complete the simplest of tasks...like scaling or adjusting width/height. Illustrator rotates the shape instead, or randomly switches the selection tool to the direct selection tool when attempting to manipulate the object.

    And what happened to all 9 of the selection points on objects....say I have a skinny, horizontal rectangle and I want to adjust the width. The middle selection point has vanished and I have to zoom in, interrupting my work flow, to do the simple task. I've been using this program since the 90s. This i
    has just been this way the past few versions of Illustrator.

    I hate using this program now. It literally makes me angry because it has become such a frustrating cluster*ck. And these issues are just the tip of the iceberg.

    I'm paying a premium for an inferior product/service because Adobe has a virtual monopoly. As soon as any real competitor comes along, I'm out.

    Fcking do something about this piece of ***. Stop adding bells and whistles and fix the issues that have been plaguing the program for years. The type tool, for one glaring example, has been terrible for a decade.

11. Crash in Illustrator CC 2018 while using Wacom

    After copy paste selected type tool, rotate tool and then again type tool with wacom. It resulted in crash on my mac.

12. Illustrator 2021 (25.1.0) slows, freezes, crashes every 1-3 hours.

    I have tried to use Illustrator 25.1.0 on 3 different laptops, ALL instances resulted in the same problem. The application will perform normally for a while, then at some point, typically between 1-3 hours of constant use, the function you are asking for via mouse input will freeze. (examples: moving a text box or shape, highlighting text, etc.) Sometimes the freeze will be preceded by a slight slow down in responsiveness. Once there is a freeze, the menu pull downs are inoperable too, so you can't ask it to save. When it freezes, a recovery file may or may not be generated. The freeze will often require task manager to end. This same type of freeze was happening to me with previous AI versions on laptop #1 dating back to 2018. Recently, which may have coincided with August 2020 release (version 24.3) or October 2020 release (version 25.0), the chronic crashing problem on laptop#1 seemed to be alleviated and I was so relieved that problem might have been fixed after 2+ years of suffering through loosing my work ALL THE TIME and having NO resolution via technical support. However, once January 25.1.0 was updated, the pattern of crashes started again, at which point I started investigating the issue in other laptops. The files I have been testing are lines only, with no effects, and no digital images. 25MB. No art pens installed for any of the laptops.

13. Exported SVG files don't work correctly in Internet Explorer 11

    If a SVG file exported from Illustrator is set as a background-image in IE11, the image will be centered in its container, and that can't be changed with background-position: left or right.

    Fortunately the solution is simple. Just have Illustrator include width and height in the <svg> tag, like this:

14. Illustrator v24 constantly crashes when I try to open a document

    The update for the Illustrator 2020 version uploaded and it never opens, it freezes up with a white screen and says not responding. Now my 2019 version is doing the same thing and tells me I don't have enough memory.
    I have tried to uninstall all CC apps and reinstall, I have also tried the CC cleaner, no luck.

15. My entire screen goes black when I try to open Illustrator 2021

    I have a Mac, Catalina, Version 10.15.7 (19H2)

    My touch toolbar stays lit up and I can tell Illustrator is opened based on the toolbar options, but nothing displays on normal screen. Screen returns after I Quit with CMD + Q.

16. Stop asking about switching to the Touch interface

    I have a laptop with a touch screen (that I never use, and never intend to use). Every time I open Illustrator, it tells me that it has detected that I am using a touch enabled screen and asks if I want to switch. I would be VERY appreciative if you could make this pop up with a "don't ask me again on this computer" checkbox as it is really annoying as it not always obvious that it has popped up and it makes the screen unresponsive.

17. Layer visibility incorrect after applying 3D Effect Rotate to group

    After applying the 3D Effect 'Rotate' to a group of paths, it is no longer possible to make paths invisible within the group.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) New
    2) Draw two paths
    3) Select and group the paths
    4) Apply 3D effect 'Rotate' to the group
    5) toggle the visibility of one shape in the 'Layers'-panel

    The shape stays visible even though the visibility is turned of.
    I added a capture of the steps but not all dialogs in the capture are visible.

18. Selection Lag / Delay v.25.2.3 Windows 10

    I have been experiencing delays with Illustrator for some time now. It will lag for a second or so when selecting objects / text. A popup will flash in the top left hand corner of the screen, but it is too brief to identify what the popup is. I have tried screen recording but it's too brief even for that. Last month I did a clean install to see if that solved the problem and it did - but it's gradually come back. Constantly having to restart the system to bring performance back to normal. I find that the AI splash screen takes longer than it used to.. and hangs on loading plugins with lots of popup window activity in the top left of the screen Windows 10 x64; Radeon Pro WX7100. Anyone else experiencing this? Getting fed up of Adobe these past two years TBH.
